The Day After...

As tradition holds, I like to share some of my favorite DT projects from this release the morning after.  I hope some of the art I selected leaves you as inspired as it did me!

Betsy Veldman made an amazing paper gift cone from Autumn Rose cardstock and adorned it with a glittered Damask Snowflake die-cut and Tag-its #9.  I just adore the paint treatment she used on the edges of the cone!

Danielle Flanders created this adorable framed art piece using the Shape Up Snowman die and Wonderful Words: Holiday.  The felt "peace" die-cut contributes to the warm fuzziness the project exudes.  Love the addition of the Funky Town patterned paper too!

Dawn McVey used a bright and bold color scheme of Aqua Mist & Raspberry Fizz on this stunning holiday card.  All the delectable layers of the poinsettia look so amazing and realistic!  The Christmas Poinsettia stamp set & dies pair up beautifully, making it easy to duplicate the same look as many times as you like in no time at all!

Debbie Olson took my breath away with her use of In the Meadow.  I love the way she cut down the In the Meadow dies to make her snowdrift accommodate a smaller area.  The colors are just wonderful as well.

Erin Lincoln used the Christmas Poinsettia dies in a clever way by using the negative space from the largest die.  The layers of felt in the center are simply amazing and textural.  I also love that she coordinated one of the sentiments from Christmas Poinsettia in one of the Photo Finishers dies.

Heather Nichols is always doing amazing things with Kraft cardstock and Copics, and this project is definitely no exception!  Such a simple design, but definitely not lacking in style.

Jessica Witty used the In the Meadow snowdrift dies to create rolling hills for her Star of Wonder card.    The small touches of gold embossing just pop from the blue.

Lisa Johnson amazed me with the coloring she did in the sky of this Star of Wonder project.  The way the palm trees and the camel create balance at the bottom, along with the In the Meadow snowdrift dies is just fabulously executed.

Maile Belles made magic with the new Faith & Hope stamp set.  She did some clear embossing on the mat with the leaf sprig from the set.  And I love how she die-cut Tag Sale #5 from the center to allow her pretty focal point to shine through.

Melissa Phillips used the new Front & Center die paired up with the Christmas Poinsettia stamp set and dies.  the mix of gingham, plaids & lace are fabulous additions to her gift packaging.

Michelle Wooderson followed through with a beautiful color scheme established by the expert coloring on the mug from Tremendous Treats: Christmas set.  The clever use of the Wonderful Words: Holiday word die as a mask towards the bottom is something I would definitely like to try my hand at.

Aren't they all just amazing?!?!?!  I love all of the unique holiday color schemes and the fun alternate uses for the dies!  Everyone is always just so fabulously creative!  I hope you enjoyed my picks and can take some inspiration from these projects today and create something fabulous.

Betsy Veldman used Simple Sunflower, Turning a New Leaf and the classic Green Thumb to create the beautiful pattern on her card.  The plaid Half & Half strip accenting the top was the perfect touch!

Danielle Flanders made an amazing card using Table Service and just a little snippet of Background Basics: Houndstooth.  I am totally smitten with the background she created using one of the small flower images from Table service.  

Dawn McVey used bright & fun colors on her Table Service project.  I love the way she coordinated her napkin & plate so that they complemented her color scheme so well.  The little scalloped border underneath the sentiment is a perfect finishing touch.

Debbie Olson paired up Table Service, Background Basics: Houndstooth, Flower Fusion #7 and Think Big Favorites #7 on this colorful card.  The patterns she created with Flower fusion are just simply to die for and I love how she used multiple colors to ink the large sentiment!

Erin Lincoln made a beautiful Thanksgiving card using Maile's new Autumn Acorns set.  The way she used Text Style to ground everything is simply brilliant. and the circular design she created with the leaf & acorns made for a fabulous motif.

Heather Nichols used Harvest Berries to create this amazing vintage piece.  I absolutely adore how she integrated bits & pieces from Garden Variety in the background.  Her distress ink application around the edge of the focal point is wonderful as well.

Jessica Witty appealed to my sweet tooth with this super cute cake shaped project.  The addition of the Fruit Fusion: Berry at the top was the perfect finishing touch!  I know SO many people that would love to receive this card!

Lisa Johnson made Flower Fusion #7 fresh & fun with this fabulous little project.  I love how she used the flower stems "upside-down" and the color scheme is just amazing.  Pairing it up with the sentiment from Table Service really set the stage for a hip & trendy finished product.

Maile Belles used Harvest Berries to create this simple one-layer project.  I love how she paired the outlined & solid leaves to add dimension to a flat surface.  And her *sparkly* berry treatment is a real show stopper.

Melissa Phillips used Harvest Berries as well, only she utilized the die only and not the stamped leaves, making a wonderful focal point.  The sentiment (also from Harvest Berries) does a wonderful job of grounding everything.

Michelle Wooderson used cool blues & greens to create this mini masterpiece with Flower Fusion #7.  Modern Wood Mats was used on her little tag, proving that you don't have to limit yourself to using the exact shapes in the set!  And I love the addition of yarn... so fun and unique!

Betsy Veldman made me swoon with her combination of the frames from Little Labels and Peaceful Garden foliage.  It is such an amazing layout!  Everything is perfectly balanced with the addition of the extra-large sentiment from Think Big Favorites #6.  Just lovely!

Danielle Flanders paired up Tag-its #6 and Congrats All Ways to make this cool project that would be so appropriate for a teen of any gender.  I love how she matted everything with the Spiral Notebook die as well as the lines of stitching in between the congrats sentiments.  Brilliant!

Dawn McVey made a school-worthy card with the notebook page center from Tag-its #6.   I love how she stamped this circular image six times to create the "base" for her design and then just filled each one in accordingly.  It's Official was the perfect set to pair up with Tag-its #6, now why didn't I think of that?!? 

Debbie Olson created this beautiful jar of hydrangeas using Friendship Jar Summer Fillers.  As always, her coloring is magnificent and really brings these beauties to life!  I also love the way she added buttons to each scallop of her border.  Such a beautiful detail!

Erin Lincoln created a project that pays homage to all things oriental by combining the bamboo with these amazing design.  I love the circular mat that subtly reinforces the theme and the embroidery floss really helps add a punch of color!

Heather Nichols amazed me with this clean & simple design.  She paired up the tiny daisy flower topper image from Garden Variety with the graceful wheat-inspired image from PEaceful Garden.  The two go together perfectly!  Using the Double-Ended Banner die for the sentiment from Peaceful Garden was a beautiful addition as well.

Jessica Witty left me wanting more with her Friendship Jar Summer Fillers project that is dedicated to all things beachy.  She die-cut a jar from clear cardstock and stitched it in place to create a shaker-box of sorts complete with real sand and the new seashell image from the stamp set.  Pairing it up with the map paper from the Road Trip paper pad was just a perfect finishing touch to bring everything together.  I also love the twine mixed with the twill tape, wrapped around the top of the card.  This girl's a genius!

Lisa Johnson really hellped me to see outside of the box in regards to color combinations to use in conjunction with Flower Fusion.  For some reason I always think to use bright an bold colors or soft pastels and never stick to pretty earth tones like Lisa did here.  I love the way she paired up the reversed floral strip from Ribbon Tails with a bit of In Bloom patterned paper to ground the floral image.  The grass sprigs from PEaceful Garden pair up wonderfully with Flower Fusion too.

Maile Belles has been doing a lot of layered clear embossing on top of her images this week, with stunning unique results.  She did it again here using the petite strip from Background Basics: Vines.  She used Congrats All Ways sentiments as her main focal point and accented them with the flowers from Tag-its #5.  The simple piece of embroidery floss tied around the bottom really helped to ground everything.

Melissa Phillips built her own little precious clothesline scene with the new Hanging Out set.  I love the patterns she chose for paper piecing all of the little clothes on the line...and the little addition of lace at the bottom of the dress, just adorable!  She was able to create a wonderful sense of balance by stamping the grass strip at the bottom and the Think Big Favorites #6 sentiment at the top in the same shade of green.

Michelle Wooderson made a beautiful tribute to summer by pairing up the Sweet As Can Be ice cream cone and the strawberry from Friendship Jar Summer Fillers.  A new frame from Little Labels helps to showcase the sentiment.  Her use of patterned tape in the upper right looks fabulous and helps to balance both sides of the focal point!  Just lovely!

Betsy Veldman made me weak in the knees with this project using Mehndi Medallion.  I love all of the layering she did with the images...and the color scheme?  LOVE!  The large Think Big Favorites #5 sentiments across the middle is the perfect finishing touch!

Danielle Flanders used It's a Jungle Out There to make this super girly card.  You goota love the black stripes paired up with that beautiful Raspberry Fizz & Pure Poppy Damask Designs paper!  I adore how she has the zebra coming out of the decorative frame...such a clever use!

Dawn McVey created this simple pocket card with more of the Damask Designs paper and Gracious Vases.  I thought it was so clever the way she cut the top of the pocket with the Edgers #1 die.  Such a classy touch.  

Debbie Olson made her own version of a onesie card with the new Shape Up Series: Onesie die.  I love how she added the adorable little giraffe from Sweet Baby to the front.  The cute little tag she added with the Tiny Tags die is the perfect accent for the little guy!

Erin Lincoln wowed me with this flashcard style project pairing up It's a Jungle Out There and Fruit Fusion: Apple.  As she has shown here, it is totally appropriate for a child's birthday, but it would also work nicely as a teacher's thank you!

Heather Nichols went flashcard style as well for this series of projects which I immediately fell head over heels about!  They look so realistic and effortless!  The simple design would make it easy to mass produce them as a gift or to keep on hand for last minute notes.

Jessica Witty and the clever girl that she is used the Alphablocks die to create a window for Gracious Vases to peek through.  I love how she creates a "window box" to hold the sentiment!  And the watercoloring she did on the flowers is so beautiful, making the flowers just pop from the page!

Lisa Johnson made this fantastic card with Daydreamer.  I love how she split the sentiment to create visual balance.  Not to mention, her color scheme happens to be one of my all time favorites right now!

Maile Belles amazed me with the way she paired Think Big Favorites #5 with Gracious Vases on this project.  Such a simple concept to layer them like this, but so striking!

Melissa Phillips paired the Picket Fence die with the flowers and sentiments from Tag-its #5 on this amazing project.  Her felt flowers cut with the Buttoned-up #2 die are just stunning and I love the way she added the adhesive pearls to the cloud die-cuts as well.

Michelle Wooderson made this ultra-feminine guitar using Rhythm & Soul.  I just LOVE the floral paper used to paper piece the guitar!  So clever!  The "U Rock" sentiment from Say it with Style was just the perfect complement to all of the other elements on the card!

All of these girls manage to *wow* me time and time again with each and everything they create!  I am so incredibly thankful for them and all the hard work that they dedicate each month!  Now, go through the projects above one more time and pick a small attribute, a technique, a color scheme, a layout and go into your stamping space and create something fabulous!  Go on!  You know you want to!  And be sure to link your creation in the comments section so I can see!  Or, be sure to throw the rock-n-roll technique in there somewhere and enter your creation into our Make It Monday contest for this week!

The morning after...

Two cups of tea...check.  Kids fed the traditional Sunday scrambled eggs...check.  Looking at the team's amazing contributions for this release...CHECK!  

As tradition holds, I thought I would share with you a few of my favorites from the team this month.  I just know they will leave you inspired!

Betsy Veldman created some stunning custom "patterned paper" using the new Flower Fusion #4 stamp set.  I love how she was able to echo the unique flower shape with the coordinating die-cut as an embellishment addition to her frame.  Not to mention her color scheme was fabulous as well.

Danielle Flanders showcased Est. 1776 with an amazing array of party decor.  I just love her creations and all the layers and detail she puts into them.  The stick pins with the little flags are just such a fabulous addition to top them off!  

Dawn McVey made this amazing graduation card using Tag-its #4 and Wonderful Words dies and coordinating Wonderful Words Additions stamp set.  She also snuck the Seed Packet die-cut envelope in there to be used as a money holder!  So, so, pretty!

Debbie Olson used the new Picket Fence die as well as all the new seed packet accessories to create this beautiful card for Mom.  She shows how you can create the seed packet look without having to use the Seed Packet Frame die with it.  So elegant and simply stunning!

Erin Lincoln created a FABULOUS miss you card by pairing up the new Road Trip set with accents from Postmarks.  The Label Basics stamp set worked in perfectly as well!  The map paper in the background from the Road Trip patterned paper pad provided the perfect back drop to all of her clever labels.  The addition of the twine was just what the project needed to finish it off!

  
Heather Nichols showcased Wildflower Garden while using the tried and true pastels technique...tapping pastels onto wet ink.  The soft effect this technique provides is a perfect companion with the images in this set and I love how she was able to add the sentiment from Beautiful Blessings in the soft Smokey Shadow.  Just perfectly executed.

Jessica Witty made this happy summer card to look just like a fresh watermelon slice.  I love the use of the Cane Print Impression Plate on the rind portion of the fruit.  And the "bite" made with a scalloped circle die?  AMAZING!  Lining it with acetate and adding the sentiment from Tag-its #4 is just genius!

Lisa Johnson used Flower Fusion #4 to create this simple but beautiful project.  I love how she stacked the stems to create the stair-stepped effect.  It helps to frame the sentiment perfectly!  

Maile Belles created this bright & happy card with the new Wonderful Words dies and the companion Wonderful Words Additions stamp set.  I love how she utilized the negative left behind after die-cutting the word and added the sentiment on a strip of vellum.  The addition of the rhinestone above the "i" was just the perfect finishing touch!

Melissa Phillips showcased Garden Variety and Wildflower Garden together on this beautifully vintage project.  I love how she added the rustic looking blooms to the watering can...and all those little bits of lace...just so pretty!  I also wanted to point out that she used the frame image from the set just to highlight a sentiment, not part of a seed packet.  I thought this was just brilliant!

Michelle Wooderson made this fantastic project from bots of Road Trip patterned paper along with the coordinating stamp set.  I love the way she always mixes and matches patterns like this.  And all the little details like the stapled label, the postage cancellation and the actual postage stamp.  Just an awesome execution, as always!
