If you aren't in the holiday spirit yet, today will definitely change that! We have some exciting festive and fun new products to share with you today! So cue the holiday music and let's get started!
The Holiday Tag Along kit contains everything you need to make gorgeous holiday tags that are deceptively easy! Start with the tag base, which is great on its own, or mix and match it with the various patterned insert dies. Then choose your sentiment to stamp in the solid circlular that remains. The coordinating stencils allow you to play around with different inking techniques, or pull out your embossing paste to create dimensional effects. The patterned papers can be cut with just the tag base, or used in combination with the insert dies to cut lacy, colorful designs in a snap. The festive baker’s twine and sequins offer the perfect finishing touches. Of course all of the amazing tools in the kit can be used on cards as well!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first project I couldn't help but die-cut some of the pre-printed herb papers included in the new mini kit. They are just so pretty! While experimenting I found that they easily formed a pretty little herb bouquet.
I tied the bouquet with a bit of baker's twine and curled up a few edges of the die-cuts lightly with my fingertips to help define the layers.
STAMPS: Cutaway Tags: Summer
INK: True Black
PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Herb Garden papers
DIES: Herb Garden
OTHER: twine
For my next card I was dying to try out one of the new stencils included in the set. They are so simple, yet SO versatile! They can be used for nearly any kind of project, and it's an easy way to ground focal point images without having to add another layer of cardstock.
All of the herbs are two step images so you can build amazing detail like this.
Each of the herbs has a title to stamp a long with it, along with a companion sentiment that conveys the meaning behind the herb.
STAMPS: Herb Garden
INK: Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, True Black
PAPER: Stamper's Select White
OTHER: Herb Garden stencil
One of the fun things about the new Quoted set is the ability to use all the pieces together or separate. Here I used the all together to create this simple but colorful card.
Since each line is a separate stamp it was easy to incorporate an entire rainbow of colors.
Lizzie Jones is joining me today, featuring Make It Market Mini Kit: Herb Garden
Lizzie allowed this sprig of thyme to take center stage on this crisp white card. Some light stenciling allowed her to ground the single image, but the many white textures she introduced play a fantastic supporting role.
CARDSTOCK: white
INK: New Leaf, Limeade Ice, Smokey Shadow, Aqua Mist
OTHER: Herb Garden Stencil, Make It Market Mini Kit: Sunshine & Rainbows (sequins), White Crochet Thread, Scotch Foam Tape
This gorgeous creation pairs the herbs up with the previously released Garden Variety. The three pops of pink she used for the twine, hearts and gloves add perfect balance.
STAMPS: Herb Garden, Garden Variety, Garden Variety II, Love Lives Here
CARDSTOCK: Fresh Snow Linen, Stamper’s Select Vellum, Dark Indigo, Herb Garden Patterned Paper
INK: Ocean Tides, Stormy Sea, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Dark Indigo
DIES: Herb Garden Die, Mix & Mat: Pretty Brackets Die, Garden Variety Die, Seed Packet II Die
Lizzie perfectly executes a custom stamped background with a few different herbs from the set. All the different shades of green work wonderfully together and the pop of color used for the sentiment was just the thing to make it stand out from the crowd.
STAMPS: Herb Garden, Keep It Simple: Happy Mail, Monthly Moments: Slide Frame
INK: Olive Twist, Ripe Avocado, Prairie Grass, Simply Chartreuse, Spring Moss, Terra Cotta Tile, Dark Chocolate, Fine Linen, VersaMark
DIES: Slide Frame Die, Noted Die, Double Ended Banner Die

Michelle Leone is joining me today, featuring Quoted: True Friends
These bright and cherry floral cards are the perfect thing to drop in the mail to a dear friend. The color combination Michelle selected is perfectly executed and totally makes the card.
PAPER: Stampers Select White, Green Parakeet & White Basics, Fresh Snow Linen

You can never go wrong with anything rainbow hued and this card is no exception. The strip of rainbow stripes does a fantastic job of drawing your eye to the center sentiment.
STAMPS: Quoted: True Friends, Textile Impressions
INKS: Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, Harvest Gold, Lemon Tart, Spring Moss, Green Parakeet, New Leaf, Blueberry Sky, Hawaiian Shores, Amethyst Allure, Versafine-Onyx Black
The bold red used prominently in this card instantly draw you in. I love how Michelle used the diagonal stripes to draw your eye from the sentiment over to the floral cluster.
STAMPS Quoted: True Friend, Humming Along

PAPER: Stampers Select White, Pure Poppy & White Basics, Soft Stone

With fun patterned papers, stamps, stencils, and dies, this kit is jam packed with options, especially suited for the men and boys in your universe!

One of my favorite things about this kit is the stencils. They provide you with the tools necessary to create full A2 sized backgrounds that are full of color and personality. Betsy is the queen of layering stencils, and she makes it easy to build backgrounds with dimension and detail in just a few steps.
This project uses all three stencils to build a background that certainly steals the show. By layering vibrant colors I was able to create something that only needed a simple sentiment strip to complete it. Not to mention the process was very satisfying, like creating a painting without any of the hard work!
Make It Market Mini Kit: Out of This World
INK: Summer Sunrise, Canyon Clay, Terracotta Tile, Pure Poppy, Tropical Teal, Dark Indigo, True Black
PAPER: Smokey Shadow, Hawaiian Shores, Stamper's Select White
OTHER: ink blending tool
The papers in this kit are a treasure as well. They make it quick and easy to put together an entire card in just minutes. This project is a perfect example of that, as all it uses is the papers!
Some quick die-cutting of the pre-printed shapes and it is all about the assembly.
Make It Market Mini Kit: Out of This World
INK: True Black
OTHER: clear sequins, foam tape
How about something a little different, something more sophisticated with the same supplies? With just a few stamps from the kit I was able to create an entire collage around the "HB" from Initial Sentiments: Birthday set.
I stamped everything in VersaMark and brushed over them with Perfect Pearls.

Heather Nichols is joining me today, featuring Make It Market Mini Kit: Out of This World.
One of the cool things about a few of the papers contained in the kit is the "white space" Betsy allowed for customizing with the stencils. Heather took advantage of that design feature here when she stenciled the planet below the pre-printed sky.
This particular stencil is one of the most versatile included in the new kit. Not only does it work wonders with other kit contents, but it can be a wonderful companion to lots of previously released products for a variety of themes such as birthdays, Christmas and so much more. The detailed texture created on this card specifically with the embossing paste is extraordinary!
Heather achieved a gorgeous ethereal effect hear just by simply spritzing water over her stenciling. The contrast of the watered down background and the crisp stampeded images is just plain awesome.
Michelle Leone is joining me today, featuring Make It Market Mini Kit: Out of This World.
This card by Michelle is the perfect example of just how versatile Betsy's kits can be, whether you prefer to create involved projects or keep things more simple. While this project only features a few stamped elements, they are executed perfectly and arranged fabulously. I can imagine the same project in lots of different color schemes too!
STAMPS: Out Of This World Mini Kit
INK: Dark Chocolate, Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel
PAPER: Craft, Dark Chocolate, Misc. patterned paper
DIES: Out Of This World Mini Kit
Michelle does it again with a good basic design that really allows the color scheme to sing. The strips of color in the border directly correlate back to the colors used in the planets creating great visual harmony.
STAMPS: Out Of This World Mini Kit
INK: Enchanted Evening, Versafine Onyx Black
PAPER: Tropical Teal, Enchanted Evening, Green Parakeet, True Black, Stamper’s Select White
DIES: Out of This World Mini Kit
OTHER: Out of This World patterned papers
There is SO much I love about this particular card! I've always been a fan of black and white cards that just feature a few bold pops of color. Here, Michelle took that to a whole new level by making the pops of color dimensional. So simple in concept, yet quite striking and memorable.
I hope you have enjoyed all the creations that I have shared with you today! Didn't we tell you this mini kit was out of this world?! Did you have a favorite element from the kit? Something you're particularly excited to play with for yourself? We would love to hear your initial thoughts on everything we introduced! Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
I think it is safe to say that nearly every paper crafter dabbles in another hobby or two. Whether it is knitting, baking , painting or any other hand craft, this new Made For Love set from Dawn is a great addition to your collection.
I embellished a simple kraft take-out box containing baked goods using the new stamp set and Kay Miller's previously released Flower Mandalas 1 dies. Once I got me design figured out, it didn't take long at all to put together and I know it is something the recipient will love to open.
This clever tag stamp design has a blank space in the middle that can be filled with several different words contained in the set so you can customize it for the gift.
I stamped on the handle of this wooden fork that is included. Little details like this make the wrap look put together and polished.
With just three layered die-cuts I was able to make this large flower out of Melon Berry cardstock, finishing it with the felt at the center.
STAMPS: Made With Love (available April 15th)
INK: Melon Berry, Classic Kraft, Fresh Snow
PAPER: Vintage Cream, Melon Berry, Smokey Shadow
DIES: Made With Love Tags 1 die, Flower Mandalas 1 dies
PAPER: Smokey Shadow, Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Simply Chartreuse
DIES: Made With Love Tags 1 dies, Gathered Garden dies,
OTHER: White Filigree Embossing Powder, white gel pen, baker's twine, Copic marker
Strawberries are just about to come into season here and I can't think of a better gift then to pass some along to a friend.
I used a mix of Made With Love and Lovely Lace to stamp this tag using blues to contrast with the red strawberries.
Sponging the top half off the tag adds some nice shading and depth while small accents done with a white gel pen complement the white heat embossing.
STAMPS: Made With Love, Lovely Lace (mini kit exclusive)
INK: Blueberry Sky, Spring Rain, VersaMark
PAPER: Spring Rain, Pure Poppy
DIES: Made With Love Tags 3 dies
OTHER: white gel pen, paint marker, mini blending tool, White Filigree Embossing Powder
This is a super quick little tag, proving what Rebecca says, that keeping just some basics on hand and layering things up will make quick work of any wrapping project. The sentiment from Keep It Simple: Gift For You was heat embossed onto a little strip of Sweet Blush. The Aqua Mist tag and the lacy layer created with the Mix & Mat: Scallops are attached with just a single staple.
STAMPS: Keep It Simple: Gift For You (available April 15th)
INK" VersaMark
PAPER: Aqua Mist, Stamper's Se;ect White, Sweet Blush
DIES: Made With Love Tags 1 dies, Mix & Mat: Scallops die
Next up is a card using the new Lovely Lace stamp set. I love all the details in this and how you can experiment with placement and arrangements, getting a different look every time.
I heat embossed the elements in white, then sponged over the surface with a mine blending sponge.
I was careful to get it a little darker over the sentiment so it was easier to read.
STAMPS: Lovely Lace (kit exclusive)
INK: VersaMark, Hibiscus Burst
PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Soft Stone
OTHER: White Filigree Embossing Powder, mini blending tool, Copic markers
Everything is better in rainbow, including the stamps in the Lovely Lace kit! You could create a similar card with nearly any of the images from this set!
I started at the top and worked my way down through my selected color scheme.
The sentiment was die-cut from Smokey Shadow cardstock using the Cornered dies.
Keeway Tsao is joining me today, featuring the Make It Market Mini Kit: Lovely Lace.
Keeway really showcases how you don't need to utilize the whole stencil to make a big impact. The way she used only half of it and faded her ink colors into one another creates the perfect backdrop for her unique multi-layer sentiment die-cut.
DIES: Scripted
INK: Bluberry sky, Hawaiian shores, Green Parakeet
PAPER: Blueberry sky, Hawaiian shores, Green Parakeet, Stamper’s select white
OTHER: Lovely Lace Stencil Collection, Mini ink blender
The embossing paste really showcases every single detail of this particular stencil included in the kit as well. And how clever is it to use an ombré effect with the embossing past on top of cardstock that features a darker ombré look? Utterly stunning.
OTHER: Lovely Lace Stencil Collection , Embossing paste, Mini ink blender. Versamark ink, White embossing powder
It doesn't get more simple than this, as Keeway shows us how to let the detailed dies do the work or us. The small spatters of white ink bring lots of character and style to the piece.
STAMPS: Lovely lace stamp set
DIES: Lovely lace dies
PAPER: Kraft
OTHER: Versamark ink, White embossing powder, White acrylic paint

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
My first project uses the irresistible new Bloom & Grow mini kit. It was such a joy to create this, and I think that will come through to the recipient as well.
I started by creating the main bouquet with the stencils, then adding the stamped details to finish it. Betsy has really thought of every detail.
I cut one of the frames from Mix & Mat: Flourishes directly into my white card base, then cut a block of New Leaf cardstock to fit within it. This was the perfect way to add a sentiment.
The bouquet pulls out of the pot to reveal a special sentiment, You can also fit a dollar bill in the opening when folded into thirds.
STAMPS: Make It Market Mini Kit: Bloom & Grow (available March 15th)
INK: Green Parakeet, New Leaf, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Canyon Clay, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, Dark Indigo, True Black
PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Spring Rain, Dark Indigo, New Leaf
DIES: Make It Market Mini Kit: Bloom & Grow dies
OTHER: Make It Market Mini Kit: Bloom & Grow stencils, Mix & Mat: Flourishes die, make-up sponges, glossy accents
Talk about easy cards, this cover plate really does all the work for you! By simply creating a vibrant watercolored background and then adding the cover plate on top, my card was nearly done!
The style of this Ways to Say: Thank You word die is the perfect complement to this cover plate.
This cover plate is slightly smaller than an A2 so you get a little of that white border around the edge.
DIES: Cover Plate: Butterfly Hope die, Ways to Say: Thank You die
OTHER: Zig Clean Color Brush Markers, water pen
I thought it was time to play with some pastel colors with my next Butterfly Hope card.
This sentiment truly speaks to my heart and would be so meaningful to any recipient. I stamped it in a darker color over the butterflies so I didn't have to add another layer.
The design of these butterfly elements is so fabulously executed, it make you feel as though you are an artist when stamping with them. I discovered that the flower centers from Courage & Kindness are a great complement to this set and used them to accent around the butterflies.
Kay's new Flower Mandalas dies are so incredibly amazing. As soon as you start using them, there is a whole new world of crafting possibilities that opens up to you.
After playing around with different ways to layer with the colors I settled on this. I got inspired by some of the felt stitching projects I have seen on Pinterest and added similar details with a white gel pen.
This sentiment from Courage & Kindness was heat embossed onto a strip just to the side of the mandala.
DIES: Flower Mandalas 1 dies, White Filigree Embossing Powder, white gel pen
For my last project I thought it would be fun to do something totally different with the mandalas. So I decided to impress the dies into watercolor paper and play around with my Zig Clean Color markers.
The results are bright, vibrant and stylish. It's like having an adult coloring book, but with impressed lines instead of black lines. So fun and therapeutic!
The sentiment was heat embossed onto a strip of vellum cardstock to give it definition, but let the mandala shine through.
STAMPS: Ways to Say: Thank You (available March 15th)
OTHER: Zig Clean Color Brush Markers, white gel pen, White Filigree Embossing Powder
Wanda Guess is joining me today, featuring the Make It Market Mini Kit: Bloom & Grow. Be sure to stop by her blog to see more from her!
Wanda perfectly executed this simple and straight forward card. The small vellum strip over the patterned paper adds such a nice finishing touch. I love the way the Baker's Twine brings out the orange hues in the flowers, and of course you can't go wrong with the addition of a few well places pearls.

OTHER: adhesive pearls, baker's twine
I love the idea of using this kit for table decor! You could take it to another level and have coordinating invitations and possibly favors as well. Along the same lines, you could create a mini gift enclosure or tag by using the pot as a card base as Wanda did here.

There's so much to love about the colors in this project, so bright and cheery! The pull out feature is such a nice surprise for the recipient and gives you the opportunity to tuck in an extra special sentiment like those included in the coordinating stamp set.

Michelle Leone is joining me today, featuring Butterfly Hope along with the coordinating Cover Plate: Butterfly Hope die. Be sure to stop by her blog to see more projects and details from her!
The black and white contract is so striking with the Butterfly Hope stamp set. The dots created with the Mix & Mat: Flourishes die echoes the dots found in the pattern of the butterflies. Cutting a window for just the center butterfly adds so much depth and character to the card overall.
StAMPS: Butterfly Hope
DIES: Butterfly Hope single die, Mix & Mat: Flourishes
INKS: PTI Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, Versafine-Onyx Black
The simple monochromatic color scheme and soft sponging touches give this card a special feel. The transparency of the colors is a nice companion for the vellum and the outlined version on the butterflies looks beautiful when heat embossed.

DIES: PTI Wet Paint Cuts Die Collection, SSS Stitched Circles
INKS: PTI Smokey Shadow, Versafine Watermark Stamp Pad
OTHER: WOW EP-Opaque Bright White, Zig Clean Color Real Brush-Light Blue
This card design provides a wonderful way to use your favorite patterned papers. I love the way Michelle stuck with a single pattern, but created contrast by overlaying a sheet of vellum. The small tag tied to the top is a great way to add a sentiment without covering up any of the cover plate details.
