November 2017 Release - Day 2

We are so excited to be back for day two of the release! Cold winter temperatures have arrived in parts of the world, so it is a perfect time to introduce some products that will be a big hit on your next snow day!

Now that we've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects! 

Betsy Veldman is featuring Snowfall Style.

The new Background Basics: Birch stamp is just the thing to pair up with the large Snowflake Style 1 dies. The pop of red with all of those soft neutrals is especially festive.

The bold color scheme Betsy used here is a refreshing alternative to traditional holiday colors. This design showcases how fun it can be to use multiple tools from a single collection to create a cohesive piece of art. By using the stencils to add snowflakes to the small background area, it brings together the whole project.

Can we take a moment and talk about how gorgeous Betsy's Mix & Mat: Plaid application is? I love the watercoloring she added to the plaid! The multiple textures she layered with the die cut snowflake and plaid and branch frame all work together to provide a ton of visual interest.

Amy Sheffer is featuring Winter Woolens.

 

The sweet little hat and sweater in this set is just the sweetest. These cozy images are unique because of the various parts that can be added in alternate colors allowing to build your knitwear. Amy was able to add some great balance with the sentiment banner and the snowflakes, creating a visual triangle that leads your eye around the card.

The collage like background that Amy was able to put together here is really beautiful. The cool blues are the perfect thing to create a wintery card such as this. Note the way she doubled up her sentiment banners by adding a colored version just underneath the top one for a little extra emphasis.

The small bit of twine Amy used with the mittens is such a sweet touch. Of course the felt paired with the die-cuts is a great way to add a cozy touch. The focal point was grounded to the rest of the project with the white splatters.
