October 2017 Release - Day 1

Welcome to the kick off of our fabulous October Release! We have some pretty dawn awesome things in store for you over the next few days, starting with a couple of our favorites!

Christmas songs and carols are such a big part of our Christmas celebrations and traditions.  This set features four different sentiments based on popular Christmas songs.  Each can be embellished with one of the four different musical images in the set.  The modern brushstroke style can take on many different looks, from fun and happy to elegant, depending on your design choices!

The Ways to Say series is a set that gives you multiple ways to express a certain sentiment. This set features many ways to express the “merry christmas” sentiment. The sentiments are perfect for adding to holiday cards and gifts to celebrate the season with friends and loved ones.

Now that we've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!

 

Betsy Veldman is featuring Sing A Song of Christmas.

There is something special and unexpected about using shades of pink on your holiday cards, and this beauty is definitely no exception. I love the way Betsy incorporated the sheet music impression plate with her Sing a Song of Christmas set, the texture and theme are a perfect complement for this oldie but goldie.

The way Betsy used black as her card base really makes the piano keys and other black details pop. Of course trendy metallics like the gold used here are a great way to add a festive touch.

How sweet is it that the Holiday Hugs snowman is just to the right scale to be paired up with elements from Sing a Song of Christmas? The heat emboss resist that Betsy did with the sentiment is such a nice way to bring attention to it, without overwhelming the white snowman too much.

Heather Nichols is featuring Ways to Say: Merry Christmas.

There is so much to love about this card! The partial emboss resist with the splatters adds such a nice rustic touch to the project, and it's a great way to get more mileage out of your sentiments!

There is a wonderful balance created here with the three snowflakes in the background. I love how Heather also stamped snowflakes around the trees for the focal point, they help to connect the stamped trees and sentiment so they don't feel too disjointed.

Heather always creates the most incredible tags. I can just picture these added to some simple kraft wrapped packages! The pair of mittens and string is one of the most adorable accents ever! The fonts in Ways to Say are such a nice clean simple look, they can really be used almost anywhere!
