If you still are undecided on what you will be using for your holiday cards and tags this year, we have even more gorgeous options for you. Just wait until you see what we have prepared for you today!
Winter is the season when nature rests, but beauty still abounds! Shades of evergreen color the landscape, often covered in frosty crystals. Although not as abundant as in other series, some berries can still be found, such as these pretty juniper berries. Stamp them in their appropriate shades of green and blue, or feel free to go outside of nature’s bounds and stamp them in more festive green and red. Embellish the branches with glitter to create your own frosty wonderland! Use them on cards, or create tags and wraps for holiday gifts.

The Psalms are filled with verses of thanksgiving, praise, encouragement, and comfort. Each month, the Year of Psalms series will feature a verse set in a beautiful font combination. September’s featured verse is from Psalm 126:3 and is perfect for the holiday season and beyond! The brushstroke vine can be used to frame the verse. This set is perfect for creating tags, cards and projects for Christmas as well as other joyous occasions all year long.
As a special note, Betsy will be donating her profits from the sale of this set towards purchasing goods for Operation: Christmas Child again this year! She will also be donating her proceeds from the sales from ALL of her Year of Psalms sets sold between now and Christmas. I personally am also committing to match the funds she donates to double the gift! So pick up this set and maybe a few others from the Year of Psalms collection you've had your eye on, and you will be helping a child in need this Christmas!
I stumbled across this video a few weeks ago featuring this woman's work with Operation: Christmas Child and found it so inspiring. Maybe you will to!

Accent the detailed Cutaway Tags: Winter die (sold separately) with these coordinating stamps and sentiments. As an added bonus, the stamped elements can also be used alone to create different scenes and focal points.

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
There is something about snow laden boughs that just says "Christmas" to me and I tried to achieve a unique approach to that look with my first card today. I heat embossed the boughs with clear embossing powder, then sponged Fresh Snow ink over them. I stamped the berries in Versamark and added Perfect Pearls (Merriment Red). Because the white ink was slightly tacky, it added a soft "glow" around the stamped berries. I followed up with the berry shading stamped in Scarlet Jewel. The Perfect Pearls caused the ink to bead up slightly, but I kind of liked the artistic look this created.
I splattered white ink around the edges of the card front to resemble snow fall. Then adhered a few clear rhinestones to add shimmer like real snow.

I thought the Beautiful Berries: Winter paired up beautifully with the previously released Cover Plate: Winter Floral die. The simplicity and "blank space" around the sentiment heat embossed onto the Berry Wreath Tag help keep everything balanced with the business of the background.
The Rainstones add such a nice touch and are the perfect size for the berries included in these images.

One of the great things about the Cutaway Tags is that they are perfectly suited for both cards and actual tags. Here I decided to add it as a feature on a card front. I die-cut the tag from white cardstock and colored in all of the elements with Copic markers.

On this tag I actually stamped all of the elements with the coordinating stamp set, and added just a few special touches with markers. I discovered that the Berry Wreath Tag is a nice pairing for the Cutaway Tags and I liked the contrast of a dark layer behind the detailed image.
