Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
This Gift Card Cozy die is potentially one of the most genius little dies ever. It is so easy to use and it provides a nice blank slate that you can embellish any way you wish!
I opted to make mine with a Christmas theme to get a head start on the holidays. The front is stamped with the ribbon and bow from Gift Card Cozy Sentiments. I then added a little hand cut tag stamped with a sentiment from the same set.
I lined a small piece of Pure Poppy cardstock with the scoreline of the flap of the de and cut a second flap. This was stamped with Fair Isle Motifs using Pure Poppy ink.
Don't forget to decorate the inside of the flap too!
- STAMPS: Gift Card Cozy Sentiments, Berry Wreath (available September 15th) Fair Isle Motifs
- INK: Pure Poppy, Ripe Avocado, True Black
- PAPER: Classic Kraft, Pure Poppy, Stamper's Select White
- DIES: Gift Card Cozy die, Berry Wreath dies
- OTHER: adhesive jewels
The new Gift Card Cozy Tabs dies are simply genius and allow you to add a gift card securely to the inside of a folded card. What makes these especially clever are the embossing edges that help to add a little pizzaz to your project. I accented the top half of the card with one of the fun sentiments from the coordinating Gift Card Cozy Sentiments set, along with some greenery from Cutaway Tags: Winter (more about that set later in the week!)
My results here are just from running the die as you would normally with cutting plates! You could get an even more distinct impression if you ran it back through a second time with an embossing mat.

Another beauty this month is the Berry Wreath set designed by Heather Nichols. I love the style of this and it just invites you to get a bit artistic with it!
It fits perfectly on the coordinating Berry Wreath Tag, and many of the sentiments in the stamp set nestle in nicely in the center of the wreath. I heat embossed everything in white and watercolored around it to accent the details.
