We're back for Day 2 of the Countdown and we have more Autumn-inspired stamps and dies to show you, that you're sure to love! And not only that, there are some new dies that are amazingly versatile! Stay tuned! Plus, the newest Year of Psalms installment is here....you won't want to miss all of today's introductions!
Capture some of autumn’s rustic beauty with the Kind of Corny set. You’ll have fun experimenting with color combinations for the multi-step Indian corn, which ranges in color from bright golds, to rich reds, and even deep purples. The fun shaped sentiments can be incorporated into a cluster of corn, or used on their own for a simpler look. The pretty bracket can be used to create a frame, and the sentiment label that coordinates with the smaller sentiments is the perfect finishing touch!

The Psalms are filled with verses of thanksgiving, praise, encouragement, and comfort. Each month, the Year of Psalms series will feature a verse set in a beauti-ful font combination. Year of Psalms: August contains two verses —Psalm 65:11 and Psalm 107:1. The former is perfect for autumn and thanksgiving cards and projects, while the latter will work wonderfully for showing appreciation throughout the year.

Inspired by the stencils included in the Herb Garden mini kit, these dies give you the option to create both negatives and positives of basic "brushed" edged shapes. They are a great way to frame any of your favorite images, ground entire scenes, cutting your own masks and stencils, creating unique card windows and SO much more!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
I kept this design pretty simple so the detailed corn image could be the center of attention.
The way the Kind of Corny multi-step images come together is truly magical. Note all of the gorgeous layers and details here. After I was done stamping the corn, I added small dots of Glossy Accents on the contrasting corn kernels.
This bow is one of my favorite parts of the Kind of Corny set. I can see pairing this up with things from other stamp sets as well.
I die-cut a window using the small Brushed Off: Square die. I love the detail of these and how it gives a different option other than the traditional plain basic shape.

Isn't this little guy just the sweetest! I love him! Heather has such an intriguing way about adding personality to the characters she illustrates.
I die-cut a mat layer using a Brushed Off: Rectangle die, sponging the top edge lightly with Spring Rain ink.
I colored the scarecrow with Copies. After I had completed the coloring portion, I went back in with a colorless blender and adde the plain pattern to the jacket and polka dots to the bandana.
The sentiment was added in the lower corner of the mat, with a few stamped leaves around it as an added detail.

When you have large sentiments full of style, its easy to pull off great designs like this one.
The sentiment was inked with an ombre look using Pale Peony, Autumn Rose and Scarlet Jewel together.

Again, the corn images from Kind of Corny are SO detailed, look here ate the multi-layers corn husk topper.
The background was stenciled using the new Stencil Basics: Dots and Fresh Snow ink.
