Modern + Marbled: Day 2

Today we are pleased to share an extra special project from Kimberly Crawford herself! Click HERE to see her full post!

Card:

1. Die-cut the largest hexagon from white paper, stamp the straight line image with watermark ink. Gold embossing powder was applied and heat set.
2. Using Post-It notes, I masked off the smaller portions. Then the marble image was stamped in Soft Stone ink.
3. Inside the other portions of the hexagon, watercolor with the Soft Stone and Smokey Shadow inks.
4. Guild die-cut words with glue pen and building flakes.
5. Assemble card, adding a sprinkling of clear sequins as accents.

Envelope:

1. Stamp flap with marbled pattern in Soft Stone and sentiment in Smokey Shadow.
2. Adhere gold seal

• OTHER INK: VersaMark
• OTHER: gold embossing powder, watercolor brush, clear sequins

Card:

1. Die cut three small hexagons from Sweet Blush, Soft Stone, and Smokey Shadow cardstock
2. Using the Nuvo Glue Pen, add random scribbles of glue on each hexagon and let dry
3. Add Nuvo gold flakes
4. Emboss the “ For Your Kindness” sentiment onto a small strip of Smokey Shadow cardstock
5. Adhere the three hexagons to white cardstock using dimensional foam
6. Die cut the “thank you” from True Black cardstock and adhere over hexagons
7. Adhere Smokey Shadow sentiment strip
8. Add sequins 
9. Mount white cardstock onto A2 white card base

Envelope:

1. Stamp the envelope flap using the marble image and Soft Stone ink
2. Adhere faux wax seal

• OTHER: Sequins

Card:

1. Die cut a medium hexagon from white cardstock. 
2. Stamp the hexagon with the marbled stamp in Raspberry Fizz and Hawaiian Shores Ink.
3. Use the Nuvo Glue Pen to make swoosh marks along the marbled stamp and fill it in with the Nuvo Gold Gilding Flakes.
4. Die cut a large hexagon from True Black cardstock.
5. Adhere the medium hexagon to the large one with dimensional adhesive.
6. Die cut the “thank you” from True Black cardstock and Raspberry Fizz cardstock.
7. Adhere them together, off set, using liquid glue. Adhere them to the front of the medium hexagon using liquid glue.
8. Stamp 4 lines onto a white card base in Soft Stone ink.
9. Adhere the hexagons to the front of card base with dimensional adhesive.

Envelope:

1. Stamp the front of the envelope flap using the line with True Black and Raspberry Fizz ink alternating between colors.
2. Using the Nuvo Glue Pen, draw an outline of the envelope flap and then fill it in with the Nuvo Gold Gilding Flakes.
