Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first card I couldn't wait to dig out my Copies and add some color to the Cutaway Tags: Summer die. It ha such a gorgeous form to it and it really comes to life as you layer on your favorite color schemes.
I chose to do blues and purples, being sure to add shading and definition with a few different hues of each color. I also went back in and added details with a white gel pen.
The sentiment, also included in the coordinating stamp set, fits perfectly across the center strip.
- STAMPS: Cutaway Tags: Summer, Textile Impressions

- PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Spring Rain

Garden Party is a new elegant floral set designed by Dawn McVey. It's hard not to make a pretty card when you start putting all of the various elements together.
I layered shades of Melon Berry, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise and Saffron Spice, a new favorite color combination.
The sentiment from the new Quoted: True Friends set made a great companion for the florals.

Heather always inspires me with her Kraft stamping so I thought it was fitting to pair the technique up with her new Ways to Say collection.
The floral elements were layered at each of the corners. The detail and uniqueness of the leaves and flowers makes it a joy to stamp with.

Lizzie's new Petal Box comes together easily with just two cuts.
