Keep It Simple: Thank You II is the forty-fourth in a series of stamp sets allowing you to build a collection of basic, medium-sized sentiments, in a nice variety of fonts, that you can turn to again and again. This is a second edition we are focusing on "thank you", giving you even more font selections in addition to what was included in the first thank you set!

A simple cover plate design with geometric style. Overly the outlined frame over ombre ink blending or watercoloring. Use just portions of it, inlaying different colors of cardstock. Create a stencil and use it with embossing paste, etc. A great companion for many of the masculine things being offered this month!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
My first project is for those who don't like to watercolor or feel intimidated by it!
I heat embossed the floral image onto Aqua Mist cardstock, then added just a little color to the leaves, and some shading to the petals.
Since the cardstock base is colored, it helps to cover up any "mistakes". The heat embossing helps to stay in the lines and helps pool the color in specific areas.
- STAMPS: Especially You, Keep It Simple: Thank You II
- INK: VersaMark, Smokey Shadow
- PAPER: Aqua Mist, Stamper's Select White
- OTHER: Zig Clean Color Brush Markers, paint brush, White Filigree Embossing Powder
This next project uses the large floral from Especially You to create a beautiful background.
I heat embossed the flowers all over then used sponges to apply ink to bring out the details.
This sentiment from the set is one of my absolute favorites, I think it is a wonderful way to communicate gratitude.
- STAMPS: Especially You
- INK: VersaMark, True Black, Simply Chartreuse, Spring Moss, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet
- PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Linen Vellum
- OTHER: ink blending tool, sponge, White Filigree Embossing Powder
This next project is all about layers and texture!
The new Mix & Mat: Herringbone die collection is simply awesome and offers so many design options.
Here I used I trimmed out the herringbone portion only to create a unique mat. I layered some die-cut florals and sentiments from Especially You on top of it.
- STAMPS: Especially You
- INK: Summer Sunrise, New Leaf, VersaMark
- PAPER: Harvest Gold, Green Parakeet, Mint Julep, Stormy Sea
- DIES: Mix & Mat: Herringbone dies, Especially You dies,
- OTHER: White Filigree Embossing Powder, adhesive pearls
The Year of Psalms series continues this month with this meaningful verse that is appropriate for so many occasions.
I die-cut the stitching lines only from the white cardstock.
Three different colors of ink were sponged on in a circular format to create a unique backdrop for the sentiment.

- INK: Summer Sunrise, Canyon Clay, Ocean Tides, VersaMark
- PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Classic Kraft
- DIES: Mix & Mat: Herringbone die

My last card today is more of a modern look using the new Cover Plate: Angles.
I die-cut all all the pieces from white cardstock and selected a few pieces to color with Copics and replace into the frame.

- PAPER: Stamper's Select White
- INK: Smokey Shadow
- Dies: Cover Plate: Angles die
- OTHER: Copic markers
Keeway Tsao is joining me today, featuring Especially You and Keep It Simple: Thank You II.
Talk about a showstopper! This beautiful blue creation by Keeway is truly breath taking. The flower heat embossed on vellum has color added to help define the details. The bold pop of gold with the die-cut sentiment is the perfect finishing touch!
- STAMPS: Especially You
- DIES: Especially You
- INKS: Stormey Sea
- PAPER: Enchanged Evening, Linen Vellum, Versamark, Luxe Gold
- OTHER: Zig Clean Color Brushes, Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss White
This simple layout is fabulous and you could completely change up the look by swapping out colors and the sentiment. Because there are coordinating dies, it's easy to create a mask from post-it notes and layer the images to your heart's content.
- STAMPS: Especially You, Keep It Simple: Thank You II
- INK: True Black
- PAPER: Watercolor paper
- OTHER: Post it, Precision Scissors
Keeping it classic always works, just like Keeway did here. The subtle watercoloring in the background creates the perfect backdrop for the flower and grounds both the focal and the sentiment.

- INK: Dark Chocolate, Prarie Grass, Autumn Rose
- PAPER: Stamper’s Select White Cardstock, Watercolor Paper
- OTHER: Copic Markers, Watercolors
Melissa Phillips is joining me today, featuring Year of Psalms: May and Mix & Mat: Herringbone dies.

- TOOLS: Ivy & Bloom, Mix & Mat: Herringbone, and Monthly Moments: Journal Card 6

Melissa used the Mix & Mat: Herringbone dies to perfection here. The texture and detail is a wonderful complement to the floral elements that are die-cut and layered on top of it.
