Well, now you can take this trend into your paper crafting. This Cloche Quarters set is filled with two different sized domes and three different bases to mix and match. The coordinating seasonal Cloche Quarters Fillers sets will be released throughout the coming year, and contain all sorts of fun things to put under the domes. You’ll have fun digging through your current stamp collection for other things that can be put inside the domes as well, such as the entire Petite Places collection!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
My first project uses the new Cloche Quarters collection, and let me tell you, this is amazing to work with! As usual,Betsy has thought of every single detail so everyone can look like an impressive artist!
I kept things really simple, stamping and die-cutting the stand, sentiment banner and daffodils. Don't you love this little sentiment banner? Normally it might be a bit tricky to add the sentiment to a project using this kind of focal point, but Betsy thought ahead and included this banner and a few little sentiments to coordinate with it.
The cloche itself is just die-cut from our Clear Cardstock, giving it a realistic glass look.
I embossed the Mix & Mat: Scallop dies right into the Classic Kraft card bas to help ground the focal point.
- STAMPS: Cloche Quarters, Cloche Quarters: Spring Fillers
- INK: Mint Julep, Aqua Mist, Green Parakeet, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Smokey Shadow (stamped off)
- PAPER: Classic Kraft, Stamper's Select White
- DIES: Cloche Quarters dies, Cloche Quarters: Spring dies, Mix & Mat: Scallops dies
- OTHER: Clear Cardstock, Glossy Accents (adhesive)
This wooden base is another favorite from the Cloche Quarters set, and in fact inspired this little keepsake too.
The card started with a Spring Rain card base.
Then a die-cut mat using the Mix & Mat: Scallop dies and vellum.
The gorgeous pot of violets included in the Spring Filler set is really beautiful and I love it paired with the Spring Rain card base.
I stamped this little wooden ornament with dye inks, using Pen & Ink sentiment set as well as the floral cluster from last month's Botanical Letters set. It was easy to do and will make a great gift!
- STAMPS: Cloche Quarters, Cloche Quarters: Spring Fillers, Pen & Ink, Keep It Simple: Gift For You (available April 15th) Botanical Letters
- INK: Dark Indigo, Amethyst Allure, New Leaf, Smokey Shadow, Classic Kraft, Cocoa Bean, Soft Stone
- PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Spring Rain, Vellum cardstock
- DIES: Mix & Mat: Scallops die
- OTHER: wood ornament (Hobby Lobby), Copic markers, black pen
The intricacy of the new Mix & Mat: Scallops die lends itself to so many things and allows you to keep it simple since it offers so much detail.
I watercolored a background using Zig Markers, then adhered a white Mix & Mat: Scallops die-cut on top of it. So easy yet so beautiful. This really lets the details pop.
I tucked one of the large sentiments from Pen & Ink onto the interior of the card. I used a bit of an ombré technique with the inking of this, using Hawaiian Shores and Tropical Teal.
- STAMPS: Pen & Ink (available April 15th)
- INK: Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal
- PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Dark Indigo, watercolor paper
- DIES: Mix & Mat: Scallops die
- OTHER: Zig Clean Color Markers, water pen
Here is another example of simplicity with this die, this time creating an intricate window.
To help maintain the intricacy of the die-cut area, I used a vellum strip to house the sentiment from Pen & Ink.
- STAMPS: Pen & Ink (available April 15th)
- INK: VersaMark
- PAPER: Lilac Grace, Stamper's Select White, Vellum cardstock
- DIES: Mix & Mat: Scallops dies
- OTHER: White Filigree Embossing Powder, white gel pen
I have one last card fro you today using Pen & Ink, this is actually one of my favorite sentiments from the set.
I stamped florals from Courage & Kindness in dye inks, then watercolored over them with a water brush. I added a bit of shading with Zig markers and watercolored a second time.
The sentiment was heat embossed onto the watercolor paper, allowing it to be used with the emboss resist technique.

- INK: VersaMark, Summer Sunrise, Simply Chartreuse, Berry Sorbet
- PAPER: Soft Stone, water color paper
- OTHER: White Filigree Embossing Powder, Zig Clean Color Markers
