More March Release: Day 3

Here we are with another day of fabulous new release projects! Spring is right around the corner and these new products are the perfect thing to celebrate that!

1. Emboss a 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” panel of white cardstock using the woodgrain stencil along with the embossing mats.  
2. Leaving stencil in place, sponge ink over stencil to add color to the woodgrain.
3. Diecut spring tag from white cardstock and stamp with coordinating dotted border and sentiment.  
4. Affix tag to embossed panel using foam adhesive.  Attach finished panel to an Aqua Mist card base.

1. On watercolor paper, ink up various flowers from the Courage & Kindness set with distress ink of adjacent colors on the color wheel.
2. Spritz some water with the mini mister or spray bottle once or twice over your inked stamp and stamp onto watercolor paper. Continue to repeat with different flowers and leaves until you fill up the entire piece.
3. Pick some leftover color and add a touch of splatter. Die cut the cutaway tag out of white cardstock.
4. Stamp your sentiment into the center piece. Then adhere the tag onto your stamped background with foam tape.

1. Die cut card base. Emboss polka dots onto smaller cardstock layer.
2. Die cut Cutaway Tag. Stamp each of the flowers and leaves twice for saturated ink look. Stamp dotted border on both top and bottom. 
3. Spray entire tag with spray adhesive and cover with fine glitter.
4. Cut a second Cutaway Tag out of white cardstock and then cut out center strip. Stamp sentiment onto strip and adhere to Cutaway Tag.  
5. Adhere piece of vellum behind tag and mount onto card base using dimensional foam.  Tie on string to top of card.

1. Die cut tags from white cardstock. Stamp with the appropriate images from coordinating set, switching up the different colors on each tag.
2. Die cut three more white tags and trim out flowers and leaves, leaving only scalloped frame. Adhere over stamped die cut to hide any messy edges.
3. Die cut sentiment banner from patterned paper. Turn die around to create swallow-tail on both ends.
4. Heat emboss sentiments with white powder and use foam tape to adhere to the tags.
5. Use a white pen to add details to the stamped flowers.

1. Create card base using Stampers Select White cardstock in A2 size. Using the Noted Scalloped A2 card die, cut a layer of Smoky Shadow paper. Use white ink to add paint splatters to the grey.
2. Die cut the Cutaway Tags: Spring die out of watercolor paper. Use Distress Inks and a water brush to paint the flowers and the open area of the die cut.
3. Stamp Birthday in black ink over the water coloring in black ink.
4. Stamp the word happy in black ink and hand cut into a small banner.
5. Layer a circle of vellum paper behind the Cutaway Tags Die cut. Layer the die cut onto the card using foam tape.
6. Add enamel dots for accents.

1. Diecut treat box from Fresh Snow Linen cardstock, cutting a window from the front panel.
2. Diecut clear cardstock triangle to cover window and adhere.
3. Use a craft knife to cut a slit in the fold at the top edge of the front of the box (the panel that has the window cut-out)
4. Assemble box.  Insert diecut bouquet (from the Bloom & Grow kit) into slit, adhering to secure if desired.
5. Fill with candy and tie flaps closed with ribbon.  
6. Diecut tag from linen cardstock.  Sponge with ink if desired and stamp sentiment.  Attach by tying twine through the slit in the diecut bouquet (just below leaves).

2. Die cut long, thin rectangle die out of felt two times. Tie felt together at the top of box with string. 
3. Die cut and stamp bunny from So Sweet.  
4. Die cut triangle frame from coordinating cardstock and adhere to box. 
5. Mount bunny on box using dimensional foam.

1. Create 4-1/4" square Kraft card base. Cut pp (large polka dots) to 4-3/8" and adhere to card front. 
2. Die cut three bunny heads and four Framed Out dies (in both kraft and Pink Peony pp).
3. Stamp bunny faces and apply Nuvo Crystal Carnation Pink  for bunny noses.
4. Stamp fourth frame with sentiment. Center bunny head frames/sentiment frame and adhere to card base with dimensional tape.

CARROT TREAT BOX 1

1. Die cut Carrot Treat Box from two pieces of kraft cardstock. Stamp the solid bunny head repeatedly using white ink. Using Sweet Blush ink, stamp cheeks onto each bunny.
2. Fold and adhere box together at the score marks.
3. Die cut an oval tag from Harvest Gold ink. Stamp “happy” and “easter” using black ink onto tag. Stamp bunny whiskers around sentiment using Smokey Shadow and bunny nose onto “happy” sentiment using Sweet Blush.
4. Tie tag onto box using multiple colors of ribbon and twine.

CARROT TREAT BOX 2 

1. Die cut Carrot Treat Box from two pieces of Plum Pudding cardstock. Stamp the “treats for someone sweet” sentiment repeatedly using Plum Pudding ink.
2. Die cut a window on the front of the treat box using the small triangle die. Adhere a piece of vellum to the inside of the window.
3. Fold and adhere box together at the score marks.
4. Die cut the scalloped bottom tag from Vintage Jadeite cardstock. Stamp “some bunny loves you” sentiment in the middle of the tag.
5. Die cut the smaller Fun Frames die out of Sweet Blush cardstock. Adhere around sentiment onto the tag.
6. Stamp the bunny head outline onto white cardstock in black ink. Cut out using coordinating die. Adhere to the back of tag.
7. Attach tag to carrot treat box using twine and ribbon.

1. Die cut the Carrot Treat Box Die cut twice out of gingham paper. Using the matching accessories dies, cut a white oval tag, an orange triangle, and a white triangle.
2. Stamp the Some Bunny sentiment in black ink onto the smaller white triangle. Stamp the Happy Easter sentiment onto the oval tag.
3. Stamp the bunny stamp and color with Copic markers. Die cut out the bunny using the matching die.
4. Glue the two pieces of the treat box together using quick dry liquid glue. Attach the triangles and the bunny to the front of the treat box.
5. Use ribbon to tie the top of the die together. Add a bow of twine and a green button with the oval tag to finish off your treats. Don’t forget to fill it with candy!

2. Stamp the balloons and strings with Fresh Snow ink and let dry.

4. Stamp the circle emblem image in True Black ink next to the balloon and add the sentiment in Fresh Snow ink.
5. Add a few clear sequins scattered around the tag. Add an eyelet at the top of the tag and add twine through it.

2. Emboss the sentiments in silver above and below the ampersand sign, just slightly overlapping the stamped image.
3. Trim down the stamped card by 0.25” on each side.
4. Adhere to A2 base card over craft foam.

1. Using Woodgrain stencil, sponge Soft Stone ink onto piece of white cardstock. 
2. Stamp and die cut flowers. Stamp sentiment onto background layer. 
3. Splatter background with black paint, being careful to avoid sentiment area. 
4. Adhere flowers, adding dimensional foam to a few of them. 
5. Cut small piece of ribbon, fold in half, and adhere under flowers on the side of the card.

TIP: To achieve desired yellow color, stamp using two different colors of ink.  To achieve a lighter gray color, stamp the image first on scrap paper and then onto your project.

1.  Create card base from white cardstock.  Die cut Mix & Mat Flourishes from white cardstock and lightly sponge on green chalk.  Stitch holes with embroidery floss..
2.   Cut a block of paper and vellum to fit behind opening of frame, adhere in place with paper on the bottom and vellum just behind frame.
3. Die cut and stamp Courage & Kindness flowers, coat some with white embossing powder and heat to set, layer others, and adhere in place.
4. Stamp sentiment on die cut banner, adhere in place, and embellish card with sequins.

1. Cut stitched rectangular die for card front and stamp horizontally with largest polka dot block from Day By Day Blocks stamp set.
2. Stamp and die cut Courage + Kindness floral arrangement, and some additional small flowers and greenery. Stamp sentiment in mid/lower right hand corner, above polka dotted block.
3. Attach flowers on left center of card – some flat, some dimensional. Adhere tiny pearls to some flower centers.
4. Adhere stitched rectangle to aqua card base.

1. Stamp the images and quote onto watercolor paper with Versamark ink and emboss them with clear embossing powder and a heat tool.
2. Watercolor the images with Clean Color markers.
3. Add eyelets to each corner of the watercolor paper.
4. Emboss kraft cardstock with the Woodgrain metal stencil and then add Cocoa Bean ink with an ink blending tool.
5. Attach the watercolored piece to the woodgrain cardstock with some twine. Add this piece to a kraft card base.

1. Stamp “Maybe you’ve been assigned this” using black ink onto white cardstock. Trim into thin strip.
2. Stamp mountain onto shipping tag using black ink and “to show others it can be” directly underneath.
3. Stamp “moved” banner onto white cardstock. Die cut it out using coordinating die.
4. Using Woodgrain stencil, emboss a panel of Ripe Avocado cardstock.
5. Adhere embossed panel onto card base. Adhere shipping tag on top of embossed panel.
6. Using dimensional adhesive, adhere “maybe you’ve been assigned this” white strip onto top of shipping tag.
7. Using dimensional adhesive, adhere die cut “moved” piece onto shipping tag under the mountain.

1. Create card base using Kraft cardstock in A2 size. Layer patterned papers and ink the edges slightly with Antique Photo Distress Ink and a sponge.
2. Die cut a cream oval for the focal point of the card and also ink around the edge. Wrap twine around the patterned papers and attach to the card base using foam tape. Stamp the sentiments onto the oval using brown and green inks.
3. Stamp the mountains and sun image and the wreath image onto cream cardstock and die cut using the matching dies.
4. Color the images in with Copic Markers.
5. Attach the two images to the oval using foam tape.

Year of Psalms: February is now available HERE.

 

1. Cut Strathmore to 4x5” and stamp, then emboss with white  EP.
2. Watercolor loosely with Distress Inks. Use same inks to color small circles, which are then stamped/embossed with musical note stamps.
3. Cut Strathmore layer to fit inside aqua cs Flourishes frames, which has been cut down with Shakers+Sprinkles retangle die. Adhere dimensional tape and center on card.
4. Add dimensional tape to the 3 circle-punched musical notes and adhere to card front.

1. Stamp the Psalm onto kraft cardstock with Fresh Snow Ink. Add flowers and leaves around the Psalm with the Courage & Kindness set.
2. Trim a tiny bit from the left side of the kraft cardstock and add stitching on that same side with a sewing machine.
3. Attach the stamped piece to a white card front, lining the stamped piece up with the right side.

1. Create card base using Smoky Shadow cardstock in A2 size. Layer a piece of vellum over the Smoky Shadow card base.
2. Stamp and heat emboss the butterfly using vellum paper and white embossing powder. Die cut with matching butterfly die.
3. Die cut the Flourishes frame using watercolor paper.
4. Heat emboss the Year of Psalms February large stamp using white embossing powder.
5. Sponge Distress inks in large stripes onto the frame, over the embossing. Add drops of water to add interest to the distress inks. Splatter white ink over the water coloring.
6. Attach the butterfly using clear glue and gently bend the wings upwards off the card. Attach the frame to the card using foam tape.

1. Stamp the sentiment in true black ink onto the center of your watercolor paper.
2. Then wet the area around the sentiment and create a wash of watercolor colors. Once try, stamp the features around the sentiment in various matching inks.
3. Finish with a touch of splatter using your dye inks by smooshing your ink pad onto your craft mat and picking up some color with a wet brush.
