I wanted to begin today's post with a bit of an apology. As you know from the schedule posted above, my posts are supposed to go live at 7am ET each day of release week, but unfortunately they have been going up quite late. A little stomach bug decided to visit my home this week and it has made things a bit more challenging. However, I am still plugging along and making sure that you have great content to check out every day! Thanks for being patient with me and the delays! I certainly appreciate it!
Florals are always a fan favorite around here, but these new florals are so delicate and dainty, that you're definitely going to want to add them to your collection! Use them on their own, or layer them with other florals already in your stash to open up even more design options! The sky's the limit with these pretty products!
Create pretty bouquets and floral accents with this all new floral set. The elongated stems and two-step options give lots of design possibilities. The companion sentiments are an elegant way to finish a project using these beautiful florals. This set is so amazing, I thought I would dedicate an entire post to it!

Now that I've made the formal introduction, let's get onto the projects!
One of the wonderful things about this floral set is that I intentionally designed the bits and pieces so they can be used in a huge variety of ways, making it very versatile. For this first card I created a wildflower border along the bottom of the card.
Above the border I sponged Aqua Mist ink, then went in with a water pen and added little droplets that moved the ink aside to expose the white paper in spots. Just a little detail that adds a lot of character.
There is a sweet little script "Thanks" sentiment included in the set. I curved it slightly on my block and added it around one of the flowers instead of a more traditional placement. I like how it kind of becomes part of the border instead of standing out.
I love all the layering you can do with the floral stamps, adding little pops of color and building images. It's one of my favorite ways to stamp. The cheery yellows and greens make this something that will be sure to bring a smile to the recipient's face!
My next project takes a more simple approach, focusing on a simple gathered bouquet. All of the tall florals and branches in this set have a slight curve, some towards the left and some towards the right, so you can make really beautiful, natural looking bouquets quite easily.
Agin, you can see here how you can add delicate details to the florals using multi-layer images and lots of colors. This pastel mix is such a soothing combo.
The frame included in the set is designed so it can be used horizontally or vertically, depending on what would be better for your design. I stamped a small sentiment from the previously released Fresh Bouquet on a little white banner and popped it up on foam tape so it wouldn't get lost in the bouquet.
The little sweet bow comes in two sized so you can created small bouquets like this, or larger ones.
I wanted to play around with an earth toned card next to give these florals a completely different look. Note that I was able to create bracket style floral arrangements taking advantage of the curvature of the stems.
I double stamped the leaves, meaning I stamped a second time without re-inking, slightly offsetting from the first impression to create a shadow effect. I then added all of the floral elements. A white gel pen helped to highlight the flower centers and berries. This also creates visual balance with the white heat embossed sentiment.
I curled and roughed up the edges of the kraft layer to give it a more rustic feel.
The sentiment is heat embossed in the center with white embossing powder.
II mounted the kraft layer on an Olive Twist base to help bring out the stamped leaves in the design.
These florals and leaves can also take on more of a modern look if you use bold colors. The various elements make a fabulous background on top of the other ways I have shown how to use them!
I did something just a bit different for the sentiment strip here. I cut a long piece of Simply Chartreuse cardstock for some color pop. I stamped the sentiment (from Swan'sational) on the first layer. Then I added a second layer on either side of the sentiment and popped those layers up with foam tape.
I distressed the ends of the top strips that were closest to the sentiment. Almost making it look like there was a section torn away from the top strip to expose the sentiment on the bottom layer.
I simply stamped the various florals and leaves in True Black to build a pretty background. This was easy and fun to do, as well as a great way to break in all of the stamps!
You could definitely use nearly any color as your "pop" for the sentiment strip based on what you think the recipient might like!
Because many of the elements in the set are curved, you can also create a wreath. The length of most of the pieces is appropriate to make a full card front wreath with four impression to create a circle.
I layered a lot of the pieces to make the wreath look more full. For the aqua flowers, I even inked the backside of the stamp to get a solid shadow effect. The shadows were inked up with Aqua Mist and stamped off once to lighten the color.
The sentiment and bow were added to finish the wreath.
A thin strip of Pale Peony cardstock adds balance to the bottom. The strip is accented wit some stitching I drew with a white gel pen.
A nice Soft Stone card base keeps everything very serene and peaceful.
I quite accidentally discovered while playing around with Gathered Garden that a few of the floral centers and accent stamps coordinate perfectly with the new Floribunda Frame die.
I cut the frame from Harvest Gold cardstock and stamped the centers of the flowers in two layers, one with a dotted center in Summer Sunrise and a solid circular center in Honey Nut.
I just love the detail this adds, and I am always happy to find new ways to combine my products! The leaves were just colored with a Copic marker. Note how I cut the frame apart into a few different isolated layers and piled them on top of each other using small bits of foam tape.
The sentiment and frame were added to the center using Honey Nut ink, although you could pair this look up with all kinds of sentiments from your stash!

Use our buttons with twine to accent either side of a banner.
Sometimes simple is best, and a single button can add just the right touch to a border.
Use contrasting thread to stitch them onto a project.
Use one to hold one end of your twine in place when wrapping it around your card front.
They can act as the perfect center for florals or borders such as this.
Sometimes multiples can be extra fun!
Layer florals or medallions and fasten them on in place with the perfect button.
Add balance to either side of a frame.
They work wonderful as handles for easy opening of interactive elements.
Experiment with different lengths of twine in conjunction with your buttons for more looks.

Buttons also work well for replacing the letter "o" in phrases and words.
