The next Make It Market Kit will be released on August 1st and it is entitled "Garden Gate" and it is perfect for paper crafters that have a passion for all things floral! With vintage favorites like hollyhocks, wisteria and bleeding hearts, you will instantly fall in love with all the possibilities this kit holds. The papers are designed to allow for gatefold cards, or you can cut them to use them for many other design purposes. The stencils are a highlight of the kit, with two different styles of lattice and a beautiful floral. And as always, Betsy has included lots of innovative dies that you won't want to miss out on!

The stamps included in this kit are nothing short of amazing!
Because of the multi-steps included for each of the floral images, it seems as though you are creating magic as you build your design. The dimension and detail is just incredible. The images make you feel as though you are taking a stroll through your grandmother's garden! Of course I cannot neglect to mention the amazing sentiments, the scrollwork and all the other stunning details!
The central fixture for this kit is this amazing Garden Gate die. The beautiful details paired with the clever functioning gatefold of the doors make this a versatile tool for your collection. As the team demonstrates a bit later in this post, this die can be used in dozens of different ways and offers tons of versatility.
This die is designed to take up most of an A2 card front, coming in at 5-1/4" x 4". But you can also trim the bottom of the gate off to get additional sizes. Think of the possibilities!
To give you even more garden themed options are these great dies that create special lattice details. The large center one can be used in all sorts of ways as an extra layer. Meanwhile the smaller side options can be used to cut the lattice pattern, holes only, into your gate or card front giving the recipient a peek at what is inside.
These smaller sections of lattice almost serve as versatile borders. The size and style makes it easy to pair up with images in this set and others in your existing collect. Definitely destined to be a great basic!

This set of dies is just the thing to make all of the amazing stamp images come to life. Not only will they coordinate with the stamped images, but there are sheets in the paper collection that include pre-printed images that you can cut-out with the dies. This makes it quicker and easier to create a project when you are pressed for time!
The gate-style sign and its beautiful scrollwork are one of the highlights of the kit as well. It is just the perfect thing to frame the gorgeous sentiments in the stamp set.

Betsy has only selected the absolute BEST for this kit, so she selected a high quality linen paper for her bright and colorful patterned paper collection to be printed on!
Here are a few details about the Garden Gate Paper Collection...
- The sheets measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2".
- There are 16 sheets included, 1 sheet each of 14 designs & 2 sheets of 1 design.
- This is printed on our signature high quality white linen cardstock.
NOTE: Additional sets of the Garden Gate Paper Collection will be available for sale separately beginning the night of the kit release and forward, for $18 each. The refill contains 2 sheets each of 14 patterns & 4 sheets of 1 pattern, 32 (5-1/4" x 8-1/2") sheets total.
All of the papers are sized at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", making them perfect for gatefold cards. You can use the blank white side as either the outside or the inside of your card. In this beautiful example you can see how Betsy used the printed side for the interior and it makes a wonderful frame for the interior sentiment.
The Garden Gate paper collection coordinates with the above colors for your planning purposes.
One of the many highlights of this kit is the stencil collection. Two of them feature different styles of lattice work, which you can pair with various florals of the gate elements. The third one is this beautiful leaf background that has tons of gorgeous design detail.
Whether you opt to do some ink sponging, spritzing or any other stenciling technique, you will love how easy it is to add this touch of customization to your projects.
Also included in this kit is this Brass Gate Latch. It will really give your projects an authentic look and feel. There is one latch included in the kit, but refills will be available if you would like to purchase additional sets. The refills will come with a set of two latches, retailing for $3.
