New Moments Inked

You've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of additional Moments Inked products and today is the day we can finally reveal them to you!  We think you'll love these handy additions, some of which can even be adapted for use in card-making!  You might want to PLAN to add these to your shopping cart!

Use the symbols in this set to add quick visual aids to your planner snd keep everything organized.  There is a little something for all of your everydaytasks.  The symbols are sized to tuck nicely into both the monthly and weekly layouts of the Moments Inked planner system.  Use the small words to add further emphasis to your symbols.

The Details: 

• Moments Inked: Everyday Symbols will be available for purchase on February 15th.
• It will retail for $15.
• Moments Inked: Everyday Symbols contains a total of 73 images.
  The briefcase measure 1/2" x 3/8".  The tooth measures 1/4" x 3/8".  The recycle symbol measures 1/2" x 1/2".  "Dining Room" measures 1" x 1/8".  "Email" measures 1/2" x 1/8".
   

 

Repositionable notes are one of the best companions for a planner, and this stamp set allows you to quickly and easily transform inexpensive plain sticky notes into these little bulleted lists. As a second edition, this new set is designed to work well with our 3x6 post-it note pads.  You can stamp out a whole pad in one sitting and keep them on a dashboard in your planner to use throughout the year. Or keep the stamps, along with an ink pad or two, right in your planner area and create them as you go.

By customer request, we're bringing you a binder version of the popular Listed die!  Coordinates with the originally released Moments Inked: Listed stamp set!

The Details: 

• Moments Inked: Binder Listed die/collection will be available for purchase on February 15th.

• Moments Inked: Binder Listed contains a total of 2 wired dies.  Dimensions - 2 1/4" x 7 7/8" (2 wired shapes) Tabbed List - 2 1/4" x 7 3/8" Label - 1 5/8" x 3/8"

   

 

We are pleased to introduce new Daily Pages!  They will be sold in a set of 366 loose pages for the binder, or a spiral bound version of the same number of pages. The spiral bound version will have a heavy black chipboard back cover, just like the planner.  Customers can use any of the interchangeable covers on the front of it.

 

 

-Neutral Colors

These pages are done is shades of black and gray so they can be used in the binder integrated with the months with no worries of color coordination.  You could also have a whole separate binder just for daily pages and create your own dividers or dashboards for it.  As far as the neutral colors, it's also nice in the spiral bound version that people can add pops of color on their own with stamps, stickers or washi tape.

 

 

-Perpetual

The pages are perpetual with a calendar block at the top so you can highlight or circle the appropriate month and date.  You could even use a small stamp to select the dates.  The perpetual aspect also means that if you skip using the daily pages here and there, you won't feel like you are wasting pages.  Or maybe you only want to use them on weekdays.  Regardless, anything leftover at the end of the year can be used the following year.

 

-Content Changes

These pages are very similar in content to what we had last year. 

 

The "Be Prepared" box no longer has a title.  In the survey many customer remarked that they would like to use that box for other things that were more personalized.  So it is blank and you can use it as you see fit. 

 

Also, the "Daily Indulgence" box has been replaced it with a two-line list and check boxes so it can be flexible for any little extras that may not fit in other categories.

 

-Perforated Corners

One additional feature is that the corners of the pages are perforated.  Once you have completed a page, you can tear off the corner.  This makes it easy to flip the day you are on with ease.  The perforation is subtle enough that if you didn't want to tear the corners off, you could totally skip it.

You have asked, and now they're here!  Refill pages for your binder planners!  Available in both lined and graph paper versions!  These are printed on the same high quality linen paper that you're used to.  Double-sided, they feature the famous Moments Inked colored stripes at the bottom of each page.  You can use these to build your own custom binder or add them to your existing planner as needed.

Make It Market Mini Kit: Color Pop Florals

Here is a closer look at each of the individual items in this kit!

This little stamp set packs a lot of punch!  You can layer color to create beautiful flowers, and since the centers are separate images, you can use them on top of the sponging you do with the coordinating stencils.  You will love the results you get with these!

• The larger rose detail measures just under 1 1/8” wide and 1” high.  
• The smaller rose detail measures 3/4” wide and just over 5/8” high. 
• The larger solid flower detail measures 1 1/8”.  
• The largest solid leaf detail measures 5/8” wide and 1/4”high.

Betsy created a die collection to coordinate with the stamp set and many of the dies also coordinate with images found on the papers.  Betsy included outlines on the sheets so you can easily place the dies on top and run through your die-cutting machine for perfect cuts every time.

Today we have a special treat in store for you!  Sometimes it's fun to have someone else make all of the choices when it comes to your color combinations!  Below you will find a free printable of a Color Pop Fortune Teller (folding instructions below).  Once you have this folded together, you can use it to come up with fun random color options!

Once you have your Color Pop Fortune Teller assembled, use the following process to select the color scheme for your card:

1. Pick a number from the top flaps (2-5).  Be sure that number gets places on your left thumb when positioning the fortune teller.

2. Use our fingers to "flip" back and forth, according to the number of times you selected on your original flap.  The color that is showing on top of your left thumb is your first color.

3. "Flip" back and forth again, this time using the number of your birth month (ex. March-3 times, April-4 times, etc...) 

3. Lift that flap that ends up on your left thumb, and the two colors directly underneath the flap are your second and third colors.

4. Repeat the above steps with a different number if you would like an additional three colors for your scheme.

After you have your scheme established, create a project with it!

 

 

1. Create a new card using at least three colors selected with the Color Pop Fortune Teller. Feel free to add in whatever neutrals you like.

2. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product.  

3. Upload a photo of your project to your blog, online gallery or any other photo-hosting site (such as photobucket or flickr).

Introducing Tulip Time, Spring Woods and Splits

The Spring theme continues!  The birds are chirping, the tulips are blooming and we can almost smell that fresh, Spring air!  There's just something about that glorious time of year when everything is waking up, stretching and coming back to life and we hope this healthy dose of Spring inspiration brightens your day!

Nothing says spring like seeing the first tulips peek through the ground, bringing with them hope for the coming spring when life is new and fresh! Enjoy this flower favorite in your stamping projects with the Tulip Time set.  The multi-step images will add pretty shading and bountiful color to your stamped images.  Use them to create stunning focal points or backgrounds.  Try your hand at layering them over a watercolor background for a pretty, artistic touch.  A couple of butterflies and a handful of sentiments in the prettiest of script fonts finish off the set.

In honor of our 9th Anniversary, you are challenged to cut nine 1-1/2” squares from white cardstock, then alter all nine of the squares using a variety of techniques, colors, stamps, etc. Be sure to do something different to each square!  Cut lots of extra squares so you can experiment and have fun!  If you are running short on ideas you can always go through the Make It Monday archives.  Once you have completed them, adhere the nine squares to a 5-1/2” x 5-1/2” square card front and share their masterpiece on our InLinkz list below!

1. Create a new card that features nine 1-1/2" squares, each altered in a different way.  Mount them all onto a 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" square card base.
