We have winter on our minds today, as we bring you a collection of products all with a winter theme, featuring gorgeous images that can be mixed and matched to your heart's content. Have you ever seen the art of Charley Harper before? I recently discovered it and am in awe of his talent, his style, his use of line and shape. This style was a jumping point for my latest set, Winter Woods.
Create stylized, modern birds and woodland backgrounds as their perch with these multi-layer stamps. Includes a few popular bird species that usually stick around in the winter, the cardinal, chickadee and bluejay. All three birds can be created with just two impressions. There is a single tree trunk here that can be customized with branches and a birch bark pattern, as well as a 2-step pine bough.

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
This card literally took less than ten minutes to make thanks to the new Winter Woods paper pad!
I die-cut the chickadee from white cardstock and then stamped the two layers in Soft Stone and True Black. The sentiment is added right underneath in True Black.
The linen texture in the paper is so perfect for this theme. I just adhered this piece right to my white card base and I was done!
A little thread, finished with a bow, was a nice finishing touch! You could easily crank these out in a variety of colors and mix and match the birds and sentiments. A great basic to have on hand that's great for both men and women!
This little birthday card trio was a fun way to try out all three of the birds.
Fab Flakes made it easy to create a stunning background in Soft Stone. The size of these flakes is just perfect!
A single branch supports the cardinal stamped in Pure Poppy and True Black.
Here is the bluejay in Blueberry Sky and Enchanted Evening.
The birthday sentiment is from the new Keep It Simple: Birthday II set.
The chickadee is done in Stormy Sea and Smokey Shadow. All the different species just come together magically because of the two-step stamping! Just wait until you give it a try yourself!
