Betsy Veldman says, "The Mood Mix patterned paper collection was inspired by prints and patterns often seen in fabrics and textiles. There are all sorts of prints, including large and small florals, stripes, chevron, and more. In this video I’ll give you some tips and tricks for successfully mixing prints and patterns…we’ll talk about things like color, scale, and white space. At the end of the video you’ll also find a slide show of ten different pattern mixes I’ve put together from the Mood Mix collection that you can use as a reference and inspiration for your own projects!"
Even if you don't have the Mood Mix paper collection, you can play along using patterns from your stash!

Putting together fun and interesting color combinations is something that constantly inspires me and I hope it does you too! I get a lot of comments and questions about color combinations, about what works and what doesn't and how I come up with the color combos that I do, so my hope is that this video will give you a peek into my color process, including a couple of different approaches you can take to selecting a color combo of your own for today's challenge! And hopefully I'll leave you with some tips that you can turn to again and again, for putting together some really unique color combos in the future!"
