Quilts have a classic, timeless beauty! Now you can recreate the pretty maple leaf block using the new Quilted: Autumn stamp set. Combining the Quilted: Autumn stamps with the coordinating die collection will allow you to quickly and easily create beautiful paper quilts to use on your handmade cards and gifts. There are lots of autumn accents included in the set as well – a multi-step acorn cluster, leaves, berries, and more. The sentiments in this set are perfect for expressing your thankfulness to someone special.

The double acorn measures just over 1” wide and just under 1” high. The assembled acorn/leaf cluster measures 2 ¼” wide and 1 ½” high. The larger maple leaf measures just over 1 1/8”. The “hem your blessings…” sentiment measures just over 2” wide and 5/8” high.

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
I've been obsessed with pairing up Ocean Tides and Canyon Clay for autumn themed projects and I couldn't wait to plug them into the new Quilted: Autumn set, along with a little Ripe Avocado.
After stamping all of the quilt pieces, I added a die-cut frame in Dark Chocolate. I really liked the contrast and thought this offered something a bit different and unexpected.
The sentiment from Keep It Simple: New Home was added on a banner of Ocean Tides. It's heat embossed with White Filigree Embossing Powder.
The interior is stamped with one of the new Tucked In: New Home phrases, accented with a die-cut and stamped foliage cluster from Quilted: Autumn.
All of the sets in the Quilted series make such quick and easy cards since the block is such a large focal point when completed. I can see making these cards for every season!
The new Pumpkin Patch set has such a warm homespun feel to it, and it's a perfect pair for the Quilted: Autumn set too.
I die-cut and stamped the pumpkins using Canyon Clay, Terracotta Tile and Ripe Avocado. I also die-cut and stamped another foliage cluster from Quilted: Autumn, this time cutting it in half and adding it to either side of the pumpkins.
The sentiment, also from Pumpkin Patch, was added underneath in Dark Chocolate. To help ground everything I added one thin strip of the Ripe Avocado Autumn Chicken Scratch paper. All of this was done on a Vintage Cream card base.
For my last project today, I was able to dig out one of my favorite previously released halloween/fall sets, Friendship Jar: Fall Fillers. With the new coordinating dies we are releasing this month, there are all sorts of new design capabilities.
I decided to use the Friendship Jar: Shaker dies with it so those fancy feet could be accented with lots of festive sparkles.
The feet & broom were die-cut then stamped, finished with a few bits of color with Copic Markers. I also added a little glitter to the boots with a 2-way glue pen.
To help add visual balance and have a nice place to tuck int he sentiment from Keep It Simple: Halloween, I added three cardstock strips at the bottom (Royal Velvet, Simply Chartreuse and Canyon Clay). A new cover plate (which you will see more of throughout the week!) was cut from Smokey Shadow cardstock and layered on top of a card base of the same for a bit of texture.
