This month, we kick off the start of our holiday releases, beginning with all things fall! With autumn comes cooler temperatures, gorgeous fall colors, cozy clothing and more. We can't wait to show you all of our fall inspiration so let's dive right in!
Enclosed: Leaf is the seventh in a monthly series of stamp sets designed to coordinate with a monthly set of dies that can be used on cards or in conjunction with the Enclosed: Basic Folded Tag Die, allowing you to make your own custom gift tags and card embellishments for a variety of recipients and gift-giving needs! Each Enclosed stamp set and die collection feature a different theme and die shape that will work together beautifully to cover occasions throughout the year. You’ll want to be sure to collect them all!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
One of the things I love about the entire Enclosed series is the scale of the shapes. They are nice and large so there are a lot of techniques you can play around with using them. Here I decided to do something a bit different and create a stencil.
Instead of sponging or spritzing color, I decided to stamp it using this detailed dotted circle from Fall Florals. By overlapping the the technique slightly using two different colors, you get a really beautiful look that's easy to achieve.
For the sentiment I inked up "grateful" from Enclosed: Leaf in a two tone effect using Terracotta Tile and Canyon Clay. The companion sentiment is stamped underneath in True Black.
I'm looking forward to playing around with this technique using other shapes too!
Of course watercoloring goes hand in hand with pretty autumn projects. I watercolored onto Vintage Cream cardstock then die-cut it using the Enclosed: Leaf shape and followed up with the separate veins die.
The grateful sentiment frame was die-cut a few times and trimmed out from the frame, sandwiching the layers together for dimension.
The Classic Kraft layer is die-cut with the leaf die as well so that the shape is inlaid into the card front making it easier to adhere the die-cut sentiment.
There's just something about pretty florals paired up with beautiful sentiments and I think this next card fits that bill. I began with the florals. I stamped the leaves in Spring Moss and then added the solid portions of the flowers. These were inked with Harvest Gold and then the edges rolled in Summer Sunrise. I then followed up with the dotted circle stamps in Summer Sunrise, stamping slightly off center for a more stylish look.
The sentiment from Choose Joy (more about this set later in the week) was added in the center of the florals in True Black.
Everything was mounted onto a Harvest Gold card base.
I thought it would be fun to use the second style of flowers from Fall Florals as a colorful confetti-like accent.
I stamped the three sizes along the top of the card front using Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise and Hawaiian Shores.
The Scribbled Sentiments "thanks" stamp was added to the center with True Black ink. I used a ruler and black pen to create the sketchy frame around the word.
For my last card I stamped "hooray" from Scribbled Sentiments repeatedly with Soft Stone ink, adding it once more in True Black ink at the bottom of the column.
Using markers, I scribbled a bit over each letter using a rainbow of colors. The companion sentiment was added underneath in True Black ink as well. You could do this with any of the sentiment in this set for quick and easy cards!
