We're kicking off the Countdown with a SUPER post today! We've got super stars and superheroes and a ton of inspiration for you!! We think you're going to love these fun new products for the super star in your life!
Enclosed: Star is the fourth in a monthly series of stamp sets designed to coordinate with a monthly set of dies that can be used on cards or in conjunction with the Enclosed: Basic Folded Tag Die, allowing you to make your own custom gift tags and card embellishments for a variety of recipients and gift-giving needs! Each Enclosed stamp set and die collection feature a different theme and die shape that will work together beautifully to cover occasions throughout the year. You’ll want to be sure to collect them all!
The Details:
- Enclosed: Star will be available for purchase on May 15th.
- It will retail for $5.
- Enclosed: Star contains a total of 12 images. The “star” sentiment measures 5/8” x 1/4”. The curved star-building image measures 1-5/8” x 7/8”. The “Wishing you a” sentiment measure 1-1/4” x 1/4”.
- A coordinating die collection will be available for sale separately, retailing for $13. This collection includes a total of 2 dies. Each star measures 3-1/2" x 3-3/8".
Superhero is a fun new stamp set featuring SUPER sayings and images, revolving around two superhero silhouettes, a man and a woman. The possibilities will be endless when paired with previously released products, including Zappy Birthday Stamp Set and Die Collection, Cover Plate: Comic Strip, and Comic Strip Patterned Paper Collection. Your cards and other projects will definitely be action packed! KAZAM!

- Superhero contains a total of 18 images. The superhero silhouettes are a little more than 1 inch tall and about 1 inch wide. The woman is slightly shorter than the man. The masks are a little wider than 1 inch and just over 1/4 inch tall. The largest sentiment is about 2-1/4 inch long and about 1/2 inch tall; the smallest, 1/2 inch long and 1/3 inch tall. The pixel dot patterned block is 2-2/3 x 1-1/3.
- A coordinating die collection will be available for sale separately, retailing for $12. This collection includes a total of 17 wired dies.
- Coordinates well with the previously released Zappy Birthday set, Comic Strip paper pad and Cover Plate: Comic Strip die.
Lexi has designed some excellent accessories to go with the rest of her superhero collection. Have fun creating custom superhero masks to tuck into cards, use as party favors, pre-cut for craft projects and more! Cut them from a variety of materials and embellish them to suit the recipient.

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
My first project is a little gift ensemble for a *super girl*, all done up in shades of pink. Every little girl loves to see her monogram, so this ought to fit the bill perfectly!
The card started with the Cover Plate: Comic Strip cut from white cardstock and adhered to Aqua Mist.
For the top portion, the girl silhouette was cut from Hibiscus Burst cardstock and stamped in Raspberry Fizz. The title was stamped beside it in True Black. The base for the monogram was stamped in Tropical Teal and accented with a die-cut "E" from the Polka Dot Parade Alphabet dies.
I used the Bookprint Alphabet Lower dies with Summer Sunrise cardstock to spell out the phrase "the big". I used the circular star accent to replace the upper part of the "g" to help create a pink triangle for design balance. Behind the letters, I stamped this great new pixelated rectangle pattern from the Superhero set in Tropical Teal.
The smallest Seeing Stars die was cut from Summer Sunrise Stripes and accented with the Bookprint Numbers die in Raspberry Fizz. The sentiment is stamped in True Black directly onto the Aqua Mist cardstock.
Everything was adhered to a Tropical Teal card base.
I cut the mask from Raspberry Fizz Felt and then added eyelets to each side to hold the strings for tying it on without any worry of it tearing down the road. To accent the front, I cut the smallest Stitched Circle from both Summer Sunrise and Tropical Teal felt. I die-cut the Polka Dot Parade Alphabet "E" from the center of the Summer Sunrise circle and stitched both circles layered to the center of the mask. The original Zappy Birthday set has a great little lightening bolt die, which I used here with Tropical Teal felt, holding it in place with fabric glue.
This superhero wrist cuffs were made with the Stitched Rectangles dies, I just trimmed off the longest sides so I only had to stitch the shorter sides together. I accented these the same way I did the mask above. A quick and easy little gift that any kid would love to receive!
This next card is perfect for celebrating Dad, whether it be for Father's Day, his birthday or just because! I opted to start with a Pure Poppy and Enchanted Evening Bitty Dot base because it reminded me a bit of a superhero costume.
I created a "belt" with a strip of white cardstock adorned with strips of Pure Poppy and Blueberry Sky cardstock. I cut the boy silhouette from white cardstock and stamped the coordinating image in Enchanted Evening.
The Small Sketched Stars were cut from Luxe Gold Adhesive Sheet and adhered to our coaster board for thickness. The sentiment was heat embossed with White Filigree Embossing Powder.
Next up is a quick and easy card using part of the new Enclosed: Star stamp set a little creatively.
I stamped just the top portion of one of the patterned star points repeatedly along the edge of my cardstock in a rainbow of colors: Enchanted Evening, Tropical Teal, Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse and Limeade Ice.
I trimmed the "super" from the star frame die and adhered it to the card front. I then added the stamped sentiments in True Black.
This card is perfect for celebrating a sports achievement or even a special coach.
I stamped the lines using Ombre Builders and one of my favorite ink combinations, Simply Chartreuse, Summer Sunrise, Canyon Clay, Raspberry Fizz and Scarlet Jewel. The star frame was die-cut from white cardstock and added on top of that, accented with the stamped word "star" in True Black.
I added a favorite sports quote from Football Frenzy in True Black underneath the ombre block.
