The next Make It Market Kit will be released on January 5th and it is entitled "You're a Masterpiece". Betsy has once again outdone herself! This collection of products can be used in such a large variety of ways! Whether you make small works of art as a gift to be displayed on a handmade easel, or send along all the bits and pieces for the recipient to put together their own masterpiece, you will love all the possibilities!!!
The "You're a Masterpiece" Kit contains:

So, are you completely blown away like I was?!?!?
Here are some additional details about each of the fabulous products individually!
The "You're a Masterpiece" stamp set has such a wide array of images, you are just going to love all of the different projects you can create with this one collection! From a cityscape to butterflies, hearts and paintbrushes and even some great sentiments, you have everything you need all in one spot!
Some of my favorite images in the set a are these paintbrushes that have "blank spots" at the tips where you can stamp the "paint" in a different color. Add a bit of glossy accents and it looks so realistic!
Here are a few measurement references for you regarding this set...
- The butterflies measure 1-7/8" x 1-1/4" (large), 1-1/8" x 3/4" (small)
- The paintbrushes each measure 3" x 3/16"
- The hearts measure 1-1/2" x 1-1/2"(large), 5/8" x 1/2" (small)
- The large filigree frame measures 3" x 3-3/8"
- The large square frame measures 2-1/2" x 2-1/2"
- The solid large paint palette measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/4"
- The small paint palette with brush measures 1-1/2" x 1"
- The city scape measures 1-7/8" x 1-1/2"
There's some absolutely *fantastic* dies included in this kit as well! Not only are there shapes to coordinate with some of the stamp images, but there are also clever dies that can be used with elements of this kit and beyond! They are SO unique, you will definitely want to add them to your collection!
One of the best dies is this sweet paint palette! It cuts the exterior rounded rectangle and embosses the interior details. You can then stamp color in each of the embossed ovals with the coordinating stamp and use the palette as a decorative accent on a card. For even more options you can die-cut separate ovals that are colored with gelatos or watercolor pencils. The recipient can then "just add water" and have paint to use on their own mini masterpiece!
Anch check out the paintbrush holder die! It cuts two tabs complete with appropriately sized holes to hold one of the mini paintbrushes from the kit. Don't limit yourself to the paintbrushes though! This could also attach different objects to your project, like jewelry an other small gifts!
Here are some basic measurements for the die collection:
- The paint palette strip measures 3-7/8" x 1"
- The individual ovals for the palette each measure 5/8" x 1/2"
- The paintbrushes measure 3-1/8" x 1/4"
- The paint brush holder tab die measures 2-1/4" x 1/2" overall. The holes in the tabs measure 3/16" in diameter.
- The largest square measures 2-1/2", the smaller square 1-7/8"
This easel die collection is hands down one of the most fabulous things I have ever seen Betsy design! The three pieces can quickly be assembled to form a functional easel that can be used for displaying mini masterpieces. It is surprisingly strong when the cardstock is doubled up, holding one of the mini canvases that are included in the kit or other small objects.
Just think about all the possibilities this holds, especially when you have the option of making them in any color! Great for party favors, small gifts, teacher appreciation, scouting projects and so much, much more!
- The assembled easel measures 4-3/4" x 2-1/2"
- The easel will hold objects up to 1/2" deep and 3" wide if you allow it to extend over the edges of the easel base.
- It has optimum strength when it is created from two layers of cardstock adhered together.
The it also comes with three mini canvases that you can adorn yourself with the supplies in the kit. Or you can stamp it with a waterproof ink and send it along to the recipient to add color to themselves. The canvases measure 2" square and about 3/8" deep. They are created with actual canvas which is stretched over a small wooden frame. Just adorable!!!
Also included is twelve 2"x2" squares of high quality watercolor paper. The papers are cropped down to this size so they can be easily tucked into any of the frame images in the stamp set and also coordinate with the easel. It is a nice thick paper that will maintain a fairly flat appearance even after it has been painted on, giving you a professional polished look.
Mini paintbrushes that work perfectly with the paintbrush holder die come along with this kit too. They feature plastic handles and synthetic bristles and are so cute and petite, measuring at 4-7/8" long and slightly shy of 3/16" in diameter at the widest point. Each kit will includetwelve of these cute little brushes in a variety of colors, with the colors varying between kits.
This set of rainbow enamel dots is also included in the kit! They look just like glossy paint droplets and look amazing on the little paint palette! A great variety of colors and sizes make this a perfect addition! The dots range between 5/16" and 1/8" in diameter!
Betsy has only selected the absolute BEST for this kit, so she selected a high quality linen paper for her bright and colorful patterned paper collection to be printed on! This is the same stock that our Monthly Moments paper pads are printed on, so you know this will be great too!
Besides the festive patterns, the collection even includes four pages of pre-printed frames. These frames are designed just slightly larger than coordinating dies in the kit, so you can place the die over the printed image and easily line it up and run it through your machine.
Here are a few details about the You're a Masterpiece paper collection...
- The papers measure 8-1/2" x 11"
- There are 8 sheets included, 2 sheets each of 4 designs.
- This is printed on a very high quality white linen cardstock.
- 4 of the pages feature pre-printed frames that coordinate with the frame dies also included in the kit. They feature a total of 36 full color frames!
- The rainbow of colors used in this collection are Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, New Leaf, Hawaiian Shores and Winter Wisteria.
NEW! As a special add-on item old separately, we will be offering this custom set of the large Double Scoop® Gelatos®. This collection of colors was hand-picked by Betsy to coordinate with the elements in the "You're a Masterpiece" Kit. These compact acid-free pigment sticks glide on creamy cmooth for vibrant color and coverage. They blend easily with or without water. They are wonderful for use with the paint palette die in this set, allowing the recipient to just add water and paint their own projects!

- If a kit sells out of its original inventory within the first 24 hours, we will make additional kits available as pre-order items for a publicized length of time. Customers should know that pre-ordered kits could potentially have small product substitutions of equal value. Also, shipping times for the pre-ordered kits can vary greatly depending on the number of pre-orders received and how much inventory vendors have on hand. It can range anywhere from 4-10 weeks. You will be notified via email when your pre-ordered kit has shipped.
The majority of the items in the kits are exclusive to the kits and will never be available for sale separately. In the future if there is a large demand for some of the expendable supplies, we may potentially carry them in the store, however not gaurenteed.
