Merry Kiss-mas is a fun new Christmas set, focusing on the classic tradition of kissing under the mistletoe. A sprig of mistletoe is the main image, with three ways to tie it for added detail: a bow, a ribbon, and a wrap of thin ribbon or twine. There are several kissing related sentiments included, beginning with the set title, as well as a couple more general Christmas sentiments to go with them. Remember: what happens under the mistletoe, stays under the mistletoe!

The Merry Kiss-mas sentiment is 2-1/2 inches wide and about a1/3 inch tall, the Leaves and Berry sentiment, 2 inches wide and 3/4 inches tall.

This is the ninth in a series of small sentiment sets designed to coordinate with a stylish, trendy phrase frame die. Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first card I kept things simple and let the beautiful poinsettia image take center stage.
I built the floral image on Sweet Blush cardstock, cut with the coordinating die. The layers were done in Berry Sorbet, Raspberry Fizz and Pure Poppy then the center in Scarlet Jewel. The leaves were stamped directly onto the card base in Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado.
The senitment was stamped dirctly onto the card front as well using True Black ink.
This would be so easy to mass produce for the holidays, not to mention adapt to a tag design!
Lexi's new mistletoe set is so pretty and also gives such a fresh twist to the holidays!
I inked the mistletoe image in Simply Chartreuse and then dabbed a little Ripe Avocado ink along the bottom portion of the leaves to add shading. This was stamped onto a white die-cut. The bow was cut from Pure Poppy cardstock and stamped with the coordinating image in VersaMark.
Tiny adhesive pearls in two different sizes were added to represent the beautiful white berries found on living mistletoe.
The sweet sentiment was heat embossed onto the Soft Stone card front using White Filigree Embossing powder.
I also added a stitched border around the edge using a white gel pen.
This next card kind of has a fun retro feel about it and uses the one of the fabulous new Holiday Double Cuts dies.
I stamped the base of the poinsettias with Vintage Cream ink onto Classic Kraft cardstock so that other colors would pop on top of it. The second layer is Menon Berry and the third layer Berry Sorbet. The leaves started with Vintage Cream as well, but I stamped the large solid leaf a second time on top of that in Spring Moss. The other colors used were Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado.
I die-cut this "Merry" die from Holiday Double Cuts collection in Vintage Cream three times and glued the layers together. Look at all that detail! I just love it! Note that I used just the top layer of this word die, there is also a solid layer I could have added underneath, but it didn't fit into this particular design. I love this kind of versatility!
I did some selective inking and was able to add "Christmas" under the die-cut in Scarlet Jewel ink using a stamp from Painted Poinsettias.
I have one last card for you today, this one using the new Phrse Play #9 die and stamp set. The main cut was made from Ocean Tides cardstock.
I die-cut the snowflake three times from white cardstock and adhered it into the appropriate spot on the card. A scattering of sequins provide a unique "snow flurry" look. The Winter banner was cut from Spring Moss and adhered with a bit of foam tape.
The sentiment block at the bottom was cut from Soft Stone and the sentiment was heat embossed with White Filigree Embossing Powder.
