Monthly Moments: August is the seventh in a series of stamp sets and other coordinating products that are designed to use with scrapbook projects so you can create, preserve, and share your memories or special events and everyday moments. Don’t just limit yourself to scrap booking with this series as it will be wonderful for card making and other paper crafting projects as well.

- Monthly Moments: August contains a total of 27 images. The “August” word is just under 2 7/8” wide and is just over 1” tall. The “everyday life” sentiment is 1 3/4” wide and is just under 3/8” tall. The larger hashtag image is 1/4” tall and is just over 1/8” wide.
- A coordinating die will be available for sale separately, retailing for $3. 2-3/4" x 1"

We are excited to introduce the Monthly Moments: August Journal Card Pad! This collection of journal cards is printed on high quality linen cardstock, making your layouts look polished and professional.
A total of 30 (4x6) sheets are included, two each of 15 designs. The pad of cards is gummed together on one side and provides easy, seamless removal. Features our signature wrap around cover to help keep all of the cards together for storage while also providing a labeled spine for easy reference. Seven of the 4x6 page designs actually feature two 3x4 cards which can be left intact or cut in half for double the options. If you cut the double spreads in half, you will end up with...

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
I just have to say at the get-go that the colors for this months collection are just DREAMY! I absolutely loved working with them and know you will love using them too! The stamp set and journal card pad are geared towards capturing those everyday moments, which is just perfect for August especially since there are no significant holidays. I pulled together some snapshots from the last few weeks to create my layout.
I left this family shot as is and didn't embellish it a whole lot. I did add the Circle Scribbles die-cut to the side, directly on top of the page protector with small pieces of Scor-tape. I stamped the today circle with Orange Zest ink and punched it out, adding it to the center of the scribbles.
This polka dot paper from the pad is just plain awesome! I pulled some colors from the overall collection to die-cut the letters for "family" using the Block Alphabet Upper dies. The Headline Alphabet dies were used with white cardstock to add the remainder of the title. *sigh* Don't these colors just make you so happy!
I used the "This is what life looks like" card, also from the August pad, in the far left pocket. Don't you just love that sentiment? It really is a great reminder to keep it real with your Monthly Moments layouts. A photo of David & Hannah doing some planting in featued in the second pocket.
I added a strip of paper from the journal pad to the bottom of the photo, then stamped the tab from the Monthly Moments: August set in Orange Zest. The heart, also from this set, was stamped in Hibiscus Burst and coated with Glossy Accents. I added a small strip of another patterned paper from the pad to the top edge of the tab and trimmed it with pinking shears.
The next two pockets feature a journaling card and a photo of a homemade cherry pie I made for David.
The journaling card is another fabulous design from the August pad. I was able to recreate my family with these cute people stamps from the Monthly Moments: August stamp set, kind of like those stickers people put on the back of their cars! The word "Documented" is from Monthly Moments: Library Card, stamped in Orange Zest. I die-cut the number "5" using the Bookprint Numbers die. I used a small circle and phrase from the Monthly Moments: August set to add a little detail, stamped over the edge of the 5. Can you see the gorgeous linen texture of the journaling cards? It stamps just beautifully and it's luxurious to write on!
I created this little accent for the pie photo using an arrow trimmed out of the journal card pad. I then created my own chipboard letters using the Polka Dot Parade Alphabet dies and our coasterboard. The top layer of the letters was cut from a fun polka dot print in the journal pad.
This white cardstock block holds three cropped photos, trimmed with a border of another patterned paper from the pad. I stamped "a day in the life" using Hibiscus Burst ink and finished the phrase using a black pen.
