Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
First up, a quick little single layer birthday card using some of the fabulous florals from Melissa Bickford's Just Smile set.
I masked off a strip towards the top of the card front and stamped the flowers and leaves, layering all of the colors to create more interest. A tiny dot with a black pen finishes the centers of some of the larger flowers.
I then removed the mask and stamped this gorgeous sentiment from Birthday Classics: April in True Black. The finished card front is adhered to a Summer Sunrise card base.
Next, a little something for a March birthday! I started by die-cutting the new Monthly Moments: Journal Card 2 die from white cardstock. I love the size of this and I think it is a great size for cards as well as your pocket pages.
I added the stems and flowers from Just Smile, dotting the centers of the flowers with a black pen.
The sentiment, from Birthday Classics: March, was added in True Black ink.
I used a pen and ruler to add a partial frame around the flowers. Polka Dot Basics III was used with VersaMark ink on the Pure Poppy card base before adhering the focal point panel with foam tape for dimension.
One of my favorite features of the new Just Smile set is this sweet little polka-dotted instant photo frame die. Can't you just imagine all of the fun things you can tuck inside of it? I started by stamping the background flowers onto white cardstock. I used a bright, cheerful color combination to allow them to really pop from the page.
I die-cut it from white cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image in Tropical Teal. This fun sentiment was added inside using True Black ink.
Some white crochet thread was tied around the card at the same angle the frame is positioned in. A Tropical Teal card base finishes everything off.

Now for a few Monthly Moments layouts! For my first layout today I used photos from the Science Fair that my kids recently participated in at school.
The Lauren Bacall imagination quote featured on this Monthly Moments: March journal card is what inspired the color scheme.
I used the yellow floral print from the Monthly Moments: March Journal Pad here and embellished it with a few favorites. The Monthly Moments: March die is cut from vintage book print that was adhered to cardstock first. I used A Few Pointers die with Spring Moss cardstock and then stamped it with the coordinating image using Simply Chartreuse ink. The sentiment, also from the set, was stamped in True Black. Limitless Layers: 1-3/4" circle die is used with Aqua Mist cardstock, and then stamped with the cordinating label from Limitless Layers: Labels using Hawaiian Shores ink. Last but not least, I stamped the year from Library Ledger Year Additions.
The next two cards feature photos of Owen and Hannah with their projects. For each of the kids, I created a custom monogram with the Block Alphabet Upper die and Spring Moss cardstock. The letters were then stamped with Bitty Background Blocks using Simply chartreuse ink. They also each have a die-cut Star Gazer button star stitched near their monogram.
This is another design found in the Monthly Moments: Journal Pad. I adhered the photo and monogram in place and then stitched the star as a finishing accent. The photo is labeled with a black journaling pen.
For Hannah's, I cut a strip of graph paper from one of the Monthly Moments: March Journal Pad cards and created a small banner along with her monogram and stitched star.
At the top of the second page are Owen's card and this sweet banner card. Heather really hit the designs for this month's pad out of the park! I know you will love incorporating these into your pages!
This pre-printed card already had an area for journaling, so all I had to do was adhere Owen's monogram and stitch his star in place.
For the main journaling card I started with a pre-printed card, but added my own journaling lines using the new Journal Accessories set and Charcoal Palette ink. I was then able to add my journaling with a black pen.
The Script Alphabet dies and Aqua Mist cardstock were the perfect thing to create my title. I scattered a few more stitched stars, being sure to use one as the dot of the "i". I also cut a few rectangles from the graph paper of one of the journal cards and stamped them each with letters from Antique Alphabet in Charcoal Palette ink, making them look a bit like trendy alphabet stickers.

I have another layout for you, this one is all about spring and welcoming the warm weather!
for the top journaling block I started with Classic Kraft cardstock and stamped my own lines using the new Journal Accessories set and Vintage Cream ink.
I created this little accent using the Big Ticket Basics die and Vintage Cream cardstock. I trimmed the edge of one of the tickets with pinking shears and added the date vertically (Mini Scrapbooking Series: Journal Circle and Library Ledger Year Additions). Then the chicken from On the Farm was stamped in Tropical Teal along with the small label in Hibiscus Burst. "Happy Spring" from Monthly Moments: March finishes the detail with True Black ink. I stapled the ticket accent into place on the journaling card.
I let this photo of David and his father installing my cupola and weathervane stand alone in the upper corner.
To begin the second row I have another photo, a close-up of the weathervance and a card I created featuring the year. It was cut from Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped with the striped arrow from Monthly Moments: March in Hibiscus Burst. I die-cut the numbers from By the Numbers Border die with Tropical Teal cardstock and adhered them in place. The sentiment from Monthly Moments: Days of the Week was added underneath that in True Black.
Next is a card I created with vintage book print and one of the Monthly Moments: March journal cards cut down and die-cut twice with one of the Beautiful Butterflies dies. The next card is Classic Kraft cardstock stamped with Background Basics: Super Stripes in Vintage Cream, forming a plaid of sorts. I stamped Vintage Cream cardstock with Classic Kraft ink and the circle from Mini Scrapbooking Series: Journal Circle. I then added the quote from the same set in Tropical Teal The tiny heart from Phrase Play #2 is underneath that in Hibiscus Burst.
To accent the butterfly card I di-cut this small "today" banner from Four Square, stamped with Tropical Teal ink. I created a small floral embellishment using the new Bitty Button Stacks die and Hibiscus Burst Gingham paper. The stack was finished with a small Hibiscus Burst button and white crochet thread.
The bottom row begins with another gorgeous pre-printed card that already has a spot for journaling built-in. David took this cool panoramic shot of the yard, chicken coop and winter garden while he was on the roof of my gardening shed installing the weathervane. I stamped "garden" using Antique Alphabet and added "the" from Monthly Moments: Library Card.
I stamped this "spring" circle from Monthly Moments: March in Hibiscus Burst and ounched it out. The srrow was die-cut with A Few Pointers, with a frame stamped in Tropical Teal and the sentiment added in True Black.
The last card features an Instagram photo I took of a welcome bouquet of tulips. I stamped a portion of the Monthly Moments: Library Card to the side in Tropical Teal ink. Monthly Moments: March was die-cut from Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped with the coordinating stamp in Hibiscus Burst. "Take note" was added to the top of the card in Hibiscus Burst as well. I completed a little more journaling with a black pen.

I have one more layout for you today. This one captures a few fun memories from a recent date night.
The top card on the first page of the spread features another panoramic shot David took from our hotel room balcony shortly after sunrise. It is mounted onto New Leaf cardstock and is accented with a few embellishemtns done in Enchanted Evening.
I heat embossed "hello" directly onto the photo with VersaMark and White Filigree Embossing Powder. Then I die-cut this large arrow from Monthly Moments: March die collection using Blueberry Sky cardstock and stamped with Enchanted Evening ink. I heat embossed the "weekend" stamp from Monthly Moments: Days of the Week onto to the arrow after letting it dry completely.
I love this little date banner from Journal Accessories. It is stamped in Enchanted Evening and adhered to the top corner of the photo block.
Underneath that, I started with a plain white journal card. I saved a coaster from one of our stops on our date night and trimmed it down a bit to add to the card. I stamped my own lines using Journal Accessories in Charcoal Palette ink. A few leaves and a flower from Daydreamer were added in New Leaf and Enchanted Evening in the lower corner.
I die-cut this arrow using a Few Pointers and stamped it with the coordinating frame in New Leaf. The sentiment was added in True Black.
The top row on the second page features two 3x4 cards.
I saved the small folder that our room key came in, cut the cover off and mounted it onto New Leaf striped paper that was die-cut with Monthly Moments: Journal Card 1.
For the second card, I started with a piece of the stationery from the desk in the room and and adhered it to white cardstock for stability. I then die-cut it with the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 1 die. I stamped my own lines using Journal Accessories and Charcoal Palette ink again. Daydreamer accents adorn the corner.
For this fun little homemade embellishment I used a sharp craft knife and cut a slice from the cork I saved from the bottle of wine we had with our dinner that evening. A small circle from Sending My Love was stamped in New Leaf and punched out with a 1/2" circle punch. I adhered it in place on the cork slice with a glue dot.
The bottom card was created with Enchanted Evening polka dot paer. I die-cut a Limitless Layers: 2-1/2" Circle from New Leaf cardstock and heat embossed it with a sentiment from Sending My Love. It was the perfect phrase to sum up the amazing time we had!
