Embellished Elegance is a gorgeous set that can be exactly what you make it, simple or ornate; it's all about how many pieces you decide to mix together. The large "happy" can be kept simple by die-cutting it and cutting off the leafed tails. You may choose to embellish it with lots of different combinations of flowers and blooms. The other main vine elements can be used in a variety of ways as well. You can add one as an accent just above a sentiment, or build a full frame above and below your chosen phrase. The vines that are broken into two pieces can also be used as decorative corners. So many options with this amazing set!

- Embellished Elegance contains a total of 39 images. The large embellished "happy" measures 4-1/4" x 1-1/2". The scalloped leaf vine measures 3-3/4" x 1-1/4". The assembled two-step vine half measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/4". The individual floral elements average between 1/4" and 3/4". "Anniversary" measures 2-7/8" x 1/4". "Birthday" measures 2-1/4" x 1/4".
- A coordinating die collection will be available for sale separately, retailing for $16. This collection includes a total of 4 dies (1 single shape + 5 wired shapes + 7 wired shapes + 9 wired shapes). They measure 5" x 1-3/4" (A), 3-1/2" x 1-3/4" (B), 4-1/8" x 1-5/8" (C), 4" x 2" (D).
This fun little tag die collection creates a slightly smaller tag than the others in the Tag Sale series. The fun scalloped accent frame can be left off or used with the tag, or even used alone as a separate accent for a card. The banner is the perfect width to add across the frame and tag with your selected sentiment.

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first project I wanted to keep things fairly simple with a single layer card. I stamped these gorgeous two-step leaf swags with New Leaf and Limeade Ice. I liked the vertical orientation for a little something different.
I added several flowers with contrasting centers around the swags to fill it out.
Dots of Glossy Accents added to each flower center help to add a bit of dimension.
I added the sentiments in Charcoal Palette ink and True Black, then the whole card front was mounted onto a Soft Stone card base.
Now for a brightly colored spring thank you card! I die-cut Vintage Cream cardstock with the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 2 die.
Then stamped various pieces of Embellished Elegance in the bottom corner using Simply Chartreuse, Berry Sorbet, Summer Sunrise and Canyon Clay.
I added this sentiment from Keep Simple: Thank You to the top of the card using Canyon Clay ink.
I wrapped a bit of cream crochet thread around the focal point and adhered it to a Harvest Gold card base.
There is a large embellished "happy" stamp in the set that includes extra long "tails" at either end for embellishing. I wanted to show you hwo easy it is to cut those ends off for a more simple, streamlined look.
I stamped "happy" in Hawaiian Shores and New Leaf, blending the two inks in the middle for an ombre effect. "Anniversary" was added underneath in New Leaf.
I used the exterior frame from the Cover Plate: Deco around the edge of the card. I love that I can mix things up and just use one of the frames like this.
Everything was adhered to a white card base.
Here is the happy with the embellished ends left intact. As you can see you can get a completely different look! I started with the Tipped Tops die cut from white cardstock, then cut the "happy die from it, following along with the angle of the bottom edge.
I die-cut the "happy" a second time, stamping it with the matching word stamp using Ocean Tides ink. The leaves were added to the ends with Simply Chartreuse.
Flowers were scattered around the word in Melon Berry with Classic Kraft centers.
A Classic Kraft card base is the finishing touch. I'm keeping this on hand to add an interior sentiment for whatever occasion arrires. I think I might make a few extras as well.
You don't need to use multiple colors with these stamps, a single color can have just as much of an effect. I stamped this double swag twice in Berry Sorbet to create a frame.
I added delicate small touches of silver to the flower centers and the tendrils of the swag.
I used a circle punch to notch the corners of the card front and added a silver edge with my paint pen. Pearls were the perfect elegant touch to add to the corners.
"Happy" from Birthday Classics: February and "Wedding Day" from Embellished Elegance were stamped in the center using Charcoal Palette ink.
For my last card today I pulled out the new Tag Sale #10 die. I just love the scalloped frame that is included with this. I die-cut the tag from Vintage Cream cardstock, without the frame.
I stamped the tag with several pieces from Embellished Elegance, then die-cut the frame from the center of the tag. I die-cut a few extra frames from coaster board and stacked the all together with a 2-way glue pen. I then reassembled the tag. I almost forgot to mention the addition of this sentiment from Birthday Classics: April, added with Charcoal Palette ink.
