Let me show you a few things I have created with Bold Bouquet!
For my first project I wanted to showcase the bouquet with ALL of the layers used. It really looks stunning with all of the details stamped, like something from a fancy designer fabric or something.
I die-cut Rustic White cardstock to begin and stamped it with the large leaf bouquet image in Aqua Mist, followed by the shading in Ocean Tides. For the larger flowers, I stamped the centers onto the die-cut base with Classic Kraft, then die-cut some individual flowers too. They were stamped in Melon Berry and Berry Sorbet. After I completed the stamping, I ran the flowers back through my die machines with the small flower center dies, cutting circles from the centers. When I layered these over the coordinating areas of the bouquet, the dimension was definitely fun! I filled in the other smaller flowers using Berry Sorbet and Sweet Blush inks.
I added a Cover Plate: Stripes Horizontal die-cut made with Sweet Blush cardstock to the background. I used the bottom stripe as an opportunity to add my sentiment with Ocean Tides ink.
I cut the Ocean Tides layer with a Tipped Tops die, adhereing the whole piece with foam tape.
Next, the bouquet more simplified with less of the details added. It still looks fabullous, but in a more clean & simple way, allowing you to get more looks from a single set.
I stamped the bouquet using Limeade Ice, Berry Sorbet, Harvest Gold and Aqua Mist inks.
The border was cut with pinking shears from Aqua Mist cardstock. After adhering it, I added Prisma Glitter on the card cover exposed underneath it.
These would be SO pretty in several different color combinations and given in a set as a gift! Or even just to keep on hand!
The solid one piece bouquet definitely shouldn't be overshadowed by the large multi-step bouquet. It is beautiful and versatile on it's own!
I stamped th smaller bouquet along the edge of this Dark Chocolate block and heat embossed it with Mustard Zing! Embossing Powder. I the added a few tri-berry images with Dark Chocolate ink around it. *sigh* don't you just love it when something so simple looks so wonderful!
I die-cut this monogram with the Bookprint Upper die four times from Rustic White cardstock, adhereing them together for dimension.
Everything was adhered to a simple Rustic White card base.
The single one-piece bouqet also works well with masking techniques since it is such a dense image. Simplynask off your word, frame or whatever else you dream up, and add the bouquet over it. Here I have done it with a grouping of angled stripes in the corner.
Th stripes were stamped in Limeade Ice, Tropical Teal, Simply Chartreuse and New Leaf. The sentiment was added onto the New Leaf stripe using Tropical Teal ink. I used Sew Simple Borders and True Black ink to add a stitching detail to each stripe.
After placing a mask over the stripes, I added all of the bouquet image in Tropical Teal. The dotted floral centers were added in True Black, adding balance to the black stitching.
I have one last card for you today! This one pairs the images up with a soft watercoloring technique. I stamped the sentiment first and then added all of the individual elements around them in shades of Winter Wisteria, SPring Rain and Simply Chartreuse.
I then used a watercolor brush and water to wet each image, making it appear to be watercolored and softer the edges of everything. All of this was mounted onto a Winter Wisteria card base.
Now that you have seen my take on this set, check out what some of the other designers created as well!
