With the holidays coming to a close, a favorite song comes to mind.
"Brown paper packages, tied up with string, these are a few of my favorite things..."
Now it's your turn to tie up your next paper crafting project with string. Tie on a tag, maybe a button or two. Wrap your card front with several strands in different hues. Pair string with washi tape to create a banner in all of your favorite colors. Add knots, braids or twists with string and manipulate it in unique ways. Let your creativity take the lead! We look forward to seeing all of your creations tied up!
I have included an inlinkz list below for you to add your link to your blog hop project. This type of link list will allow you to select a thumbnail to go along with your link, making it easy to go back and find a project later that might have perked your interest.
You have until 11:30pm EST tonight (December 26th) to add your link to this list. THREE random participants will be selected to win a $25 PTI Gift Certificate to spend however they choose. They will be announced and highlighted here, on my blog, tomorrow morning.
We look forward to seeing all of your creations!
EDITED TO ADD RANDOMLY SELECTED WINNERS:
Erin T. created a beautiful tag using one of our Boutique Borders set. The bold texture is a wonderful addition to the background. She also showcases that string can be a great companion for ribbon.
Monika/buszy put together this pretty project using Hands of Time. Totally loving the string border and the accent created with it around the button.
Julia Aton used the classic Boards & Beams set to create this housewarming gift tag. I love how the detailed house image is simply heat embossed on the kraft cardstock. Julia also reminds us that sometime it's fun to tie a tag with two strands of string.
Congratulations to all of the winners! Please be sure to contact Customer Service and provide them with the email address you would like your gift certificate sent to. And a BIG thank you to everyone who played along. We loved seeing all of your clever entries!
