November 2013 Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the November 2013 Papertrey Blog Hop!  We are so thrilled to see you here!  First, the challenge...

If you have done any holiday shopping yet, you might have noticed that miniature holiday houses are making appearances everywhere!  Whether it be as an ornament, a gift tag or mantel decor, they are popping up everywhere.  We have provided you with a very simple printable template below so you can create your own holiday house.  Feel free to alter it in any way: add windows or doors, additions, glitter, trees, garland, mica flakes, artificial snow, woodland animals or whatever else you can dresm up!  You can even display your house in a unique way such as on a cake stand, nestled in a wreath or in a glass dome!  We are looking forward to all of your amazing house creations!

I have included an inlinkz list below for you to add your link to your blog hop project.  This type of link list will allow you to select a thumbnail to go along with your link, making it easy to go back and find a project later that might have perked your interest.  

You have until 11:30pm EST tonight (November 25th) to add your link to this list.  THREE random participants will be selected to win a $25 PTI Gift Certificate to spend however they choose.  They will be announced and highlighted here, on my blog, tomorrow morning.

Kelly Schirmer used classic holiday colors, red & white, to make her little house.  The touch of gingham and the folk style hearts and stars on the roof make the whole thing have a homespun feeling.

Erin T. embraced the paper house theme in a different way and created a paper tag featuring a house.  We all loved this little coffee wrap, a perfect way to dress up a quick gift for the holidays.

Sandy (aka Sankada) used bits and pieces from our Home Made set to create her sweet little house.  The tiny Christmas tree peeking through the window is one of my favorites!

Make It Monday #142: Decorated Kraft Bags

Be inspired by Melissa to get a little holiday crafting done early this year by stamping on plain kraft bags. Imagine what loveliness you can create. It might inpsire people to not want to open up the gift to see what's inside, because the outside is a gift within itself. Click play to learn more.

Glitter seems to go hand in hand with the holiday season. It evokes  thoughts of frost gilded mornings and shiny ornaments hanging from the boughs of Christmas trees. The November Blog Hop is not taking place until November 25th, but we thought we would share the challenge as well as the inspiration photos here to give you a head start.

A day dedicated to seeking inspiration through projects utilizing Papertrey Ink products.   This event allows all of our customers who enjoy sharing inspiration & artwork with their peers do so through their personal blogs.
