Lizzie Jones has designed a darling and unique bow die that allows you to create double loops with just a single sheet of paper! The assembly for this will work best with felt, fabric (that has been backed with something to stiffen it), and patterned paper. You'll love being able to create your own bows for packages, cards, gift bags and more!

The finished bow is a nice substantial size at 3-1/2" wide and 4-1/2" tall. With this die and some of your paper scraps on hand, you'll never need to buy another self-stick bow from the store again! And don't forget, you can also use the die with felt and even fabric!
I love how Lizzie designed the "tails" of the bow die. Simple yet a little something special.
I created a tag using the new Boutique Borders: Christmas set as well as Grand Ampersand. I die-cut the frame shape from Classic Kraft cardstock and added the coordinating frame in Scarlet Jewel. The sentiment was added at an angle using True Black. It is tied on with a simple piece of Rustic Jute Button Twine.
My next project also uses Grand Ampersand, truly one of my new favorite sets!
I started by drawing a few pencil lines to help guide me in the stamping process. The actual ampersand was added in Charcoal Palette and the companion sentiments in True Black.
I added this patterned triangle from Tiny Triangles in Simply Chartreuse, Orange Zest and Raspberry Fizz.
As you can see here, I added an outline within a few of the triangles using the Clear Star Gelly Roll pen, just to help break things up a bit.
Everything was affixed to a Smokey Shadow card base.
Grand Ampersand is definitely not just for the holidays. You can use it for nearly any occasion! Here I've used it on a wedding card!
I die-cut an Angled Label and stamped it with the coordinating image from Label Basics using Summer Sunrise ink. I added the sentiments from Grand Ampersand in Charcoal Palette. The ampersand was die-cut from Harvest Gold cardstock and stamped in Summer Sunrise. I added a few flowers from Strawberry Patch in Summer Sunrise as well as a few green tendrils in New Leaf.
I die-cut additional flowers from Harvest Gold and stamped them with the coordinating image using Summer Sunrise ink. I also added a bit of shading around the centers using a Copic marker. Tiny rhinestones finish off the centers.
Leaves from Strawberry Patch were stamped onto the New Leaf card cover using New Leaf ink. Then outlined and shaded with a T1 Copic marker. If you wanted to create something a bit more traditional, you could definitely swap out the colors of this card for something in pastels.
I also used Grand Ampersand to make this sweet little baby card, pairing it up with the new Wonderful Words: Joy. I stamped "joy" and "baby" (from Wonderful Words: Baby) in Sweet Blush. I then added a few of the hearts from Grand Ampersand as well as the speech bubble ampersand in Lavender Moon ink.
I punched out the center of the "o" with a circle punch. I was then able to stitch a small Soft Stone button underneath onto the Lavender Moon card base. I just love the way this little detail turned out!
To help balance out the button, I added a few stitches to the two stamped hearts using crochet floss as well.
This just might be my favorite Christmas card ever, using the new Wonderful Words Joy. I started with Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped the Background Basics: Sheet Music along the top in Classic Kraft.
I then die-cut "Joy" from Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image using Pure Poppy. I die-cut two holly leaves from Simply chartreuse cardstock using the Holly Jolly dies. They are stamped with Background Basics: Herringbone using Ripe Avocado ink. The leaves were positioned just right under the letter "o" so a stitched button would be their center.
The "to the world" companion sentiment, also from Wonderful Words: Joy, was added in True Black between the lines of music.
Everything was adhered onto a Pure Poppy card base.
My next project pairs up the new Boutique Borders set as well as Global Greetings: Christmas.
I stamped the frame onto white cardstock using VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with White Filigree Embossing Powder. I then watercolored over the frame using Melon Berry ink refill. I stamped two holly accents onto white cardstock using Spring Moss and cut them out. I colored two small pearls with a coordinating Ccopic marker and added them to either side of the frame.
I went back in with a more saturated brush to add shadow and definition to different areas of the frame.
I adhered the card front to Spring Moss cardstock to finish it off.
Sometimes a holiday card cannot be complete without a little shimmer so I pulled out some Perfect Pearls for my next project. I started by die-cutting the new Cover Plate: Snow Drifts die from Ocean Tides cardstcok. I stamped the top portion with snowflakes in VersaMark and brushed them with Perfect Pearls (in perfect pearl color).
For the bottom portion, I popped out the two hills and stamped them with the striped block from Bitty Background Blocks using VersaMark again and brushing with Perfect PEarls. After I removed the extra powder, I positioned them back into the Cover Plate.
I die-cut the Boutique Borders frame from Smokey Shadow cardstock and added both the frame and sentiment with VersaMark and Perfect Pearls.
A bit of silver floss tied around the top adds the perfect touch of balance.
The new Holiday Cheer set is very cleverly designed and I thought I would kick things off with this wonderful tree border tat has openings to add your own custom colored ornaments/lights.
I stamped the trees in Simply Chartreuse and then added the ornaments in Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores and Hibiscus Burst. Tiny Star sequins grace the tops of each tree.
A block of Hibiscus Burst cardstock was angled and stamped with the sentiment along the edge in Pure Poppy.
My last card for today uses the stunning wreath image from Holiday Cheer. I stamped the background using the striped block from Bitty Background Blocks alternating Ocean Tides and Aqua Mist.
I die-cut the wreath in two pieces. The piece underneath features the stamped bow in Ocean Tides, then the second layer for the top includes just the wreath in Ripe Avocado. It makes it so easy to create amazing focal points with these dies. A rhinestone accents the center of the bow.
The sentiment was added under the blocks using Charcoal Palette ink. Definitely a simple, clean & modern card that would be easy to mass produce.
