Make It Monday #134: Repeat + Lift

A few months ago I created a project that used a technique I like to call Repeat + Lift in THIS POST.  The technique involved generation stamping (repeat) and then adhering the coordinating die cut on top of it with foam tape (lift). Several people requested a video tutorial, so here it is!  This is the perfect thing to use for quick and easy projects, or even mass producing!  Enjoy!

 

• STAMPS: Wonderful Words: Birthday, Big & Bold Wishes
• INK: Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, True Black
• PAPER: Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Stamper's Select White
• OTHER: Wonderful Words: Birthday die
• FINISHED SIZE: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"

If you are joining along this week, here are the details concerning the Make It Monday Challenge.

September 2013 Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the September 2013 Papertrey Blog Hop!  We are so thrilled to see you here!  First, the challenge...

The holidays are just around the corner and in any store you stumble into the aisles are decked out with new decor, including wreaths.  Dig out a favorite wreath stamp set, layer small die-cuts & punches or even use unconventional materials like buttons or rhinestones to create a wreath on the front of a festive card.  You can choose to make your card fall-themed, embrace the upcoming holidays or just something pretty to use for an everyday greeting.  Have fun experimenting with fun color combinations and layers of texture!  

I have included an inlinkz list below for you to add your link to your blog hop project.  This type of link list will allow you to select a thumbnail to go along with your link, making it easy to go back and find a project later that might have perked your interest.

Arielle H.  Gordon used Wreath for All Seasons to make this bright and cheerful card.  I love how she used  a bit of woodgrain to the right of the wreath image to help add balance to her project!

Tonya Dirk opted to make some real home decor for her door rather than just adorn a card front!  Her use of all the different banner dies was really clever and unique!

SentSue created this festive holiday card, allowing the "o" to represent a wreath.  The small touch of holly really made the project!

September 2013 Blog Hop Tomorrow!

Tomorrow we are excited to present the BIG monthly Blog Hop that Papertrey Ink hosts for all of its talented customers to show off their skills! The Blog Hop is an ALL DAY EVENT!  An Inlinkz list will be posted here on my blog at 10am EST and you can add your link anytime up until 11:30pm EST.  And don't worry if you aren't going to get a chance to make a project and play along, there will be a contest for non-participants as well over in our forum in the designated thread.
