Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first project today I thought I would start off with a little bon voyage card, perfect for giving to a friend setting off on a trip.
I stamped this gorgeous globe image from Destination with Charcoal Palette ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I added the airplane, arrow and ticket images using Smokey Shadow ink. The ticket is stamped twice without re-inking to create the shadow effect.
For the letters, I die-cut Aqua Mist cardstock with the Modern Alphabet dies. I then lined them up and stamped them all at once with the Background Basics: Super Stripes set using Fresh Snow ink. When I adhered them in place, I overlapped them slightly. I also added a small sentiment from Destination above the letters using Limeade Ice ink.
To simulate the look of a vintage luggage tag, I punched a hole to the side of the letters and threaded it with Baker's Twine.
I wanted a soft, subtle finish, so I mounted everything on a Soft Stone card base.
My next project is perfect for someone you might know who will be retiring soon, or you could swap out the sentiment and use it for other occasions as well.
I die-cut the Fabulous Frames shape from Classic Kraft cardstock. I used the negative "leftovers" from the Eyelet Lace Border die to create rows of "waves" using Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise & Canyon Clay cardstock. I stamped the World Map image onto Vintage Cream cardstock with Classic Kraft ink to use as a background. The small ship from Destination was stamped on Vintage Cream as well, cut-out and added just behind the waves.
I stamped the large script "congrats" from Congrats All Ways on the bottom of the frame using Canyon Clay ink. I then added "retirement" from the same set in Dark Chocolate. The "on your" from Congrats All Ways would not fit, so I spelled it out with the small font in Simple Alphabet.
I notched either side of the Fine Linen card base with a circle punch, kind of giving it the look of a ticket. I wraped the card with brown Baker's Twine and finished it with a tiny bow.
The Classic Kraft frame was edged with a bit of Tea Dye Duo and the card base edged with Vintage Cream to soften it up a bit.

These new stamps were just begging to be used on a scrap layout, so I opted to put one together using one of my favorite photos from last year of my family passing through the airport on the way back home from a trip.
The title was created with the Outlines Alphabet, stamped onto a Harvest Gold border using Terracotta Tile ink. I overlapped the letters slightly to give them more of an artistic flair.
To the left of the title, I create a bit of a collage with some various borders. I die-cut the Just the Ticket Border die from Terracotta Tile cardstock and stamped the coordinating image from Destination using True Black ink. I also cut out the Super Stars Border die from Hawaiian Shores cardstock and layered that on top. a Simply Chartreuse tag was die cut from the new Tremendous Tags die and stamped with the airplane and images from Destination in the same ink.
The tag is hanging with red Baker's Twine and clipped in place with a mini clothespin that I stamped with the "traveler" definition included in the Destination stamp set.
I die-cut some other various tags using Tremendous Tags dies. The white tag was stamped with the compass image from Road Trip and numbers from the new Number Time Trio, as well as a small sentiment from Destination. The other tags were accented with the arrow image as well as some stitched buttons and brad fasteners.
The background was stamped with World Map a few times to reinforce the overall theme. Some washi tape helps to ground everything towards the bottom of the layout.
This next project is perfect for a graduate getting ready to begin the next chapter in their life.
I stamped this gorgeous, detailed World Map image onto Vintage Cream cardstock, inking it with both Ripe Avocado & Ocean Tides inks in various places. After stamping, I used a watercolor brush and a bit of water to soften the map and make it look a bit more artistic. Don't you just love all the detail in this?
For the sentiment, I stamped "for the graduate" from its namesake set. This was followed up with a phrase from Out to Sea. I also added the large compass rose from Out to Sea using Simply Chartreuse ink. The star (from Out to Sea) was stamped in Ocean Tides ink and trimmed out with scissors, mounted with a bit of foam tape for dimension.
I roughed up the edges of the map a bit with my fingernails and adhered it to an Ocean Tides card base. A very simple card that could easily have different occasions swapped out.
For my last project today, I thought I would create a card that could be used for members of our military who are serving overseas.
I started with Framed and stamped the square frame in Enchanted Evening. Within the frames boundries I then added the globe from Destination in New Leaf ink and the star from Military Stars from Enchanted Evening. The arrow from Destination helps to carry your eye from the star to the sentiment.
The opening in the frame proved to be the perfect size for this combination of sentiments from Military Hero.
I stitched a New Leaf button in place using twine for the center of the star. The New Leaf card base was accented with Background Basics: Super Stripes.
