Melissa Bickford has done it again this month! Heart-2-Heart #12 is the twelfth set in a monthly series of adorable images, sentiments and coordinating dies. Each set features a clean and simple design and a fun font combination that you will love mixing and matching. The coordinating die will make stamping a breeze and give you a perfect image every time you use it. A super fun series that will be a welcome addition to any stamp collection and put a smile on any recipients face!
The Details:
- Heart-2-Heart #12 will be available for purchase on January 15th.
- It will retail for $5.
- Heart-2-Heart #12 contains a total of 8 images. The three circles measure approximately ¾”. The stem/leaves measure approximately ¾” wide by 1-2/5” tall. ‘Keep smiling’ measures approximately 1-3/4” wide by 2/5” tall. ‘Thinking happy thoughts of you’ measures approximately 2-3/10” wide by 3/5” tall.
- A coordinating die collection will be available for sale separately, retailing for $5. This collection includes a total of 2 dies (set of 2 dies (3 wired shapes + 2 wired shapes)). They measure 1-3/4" x 1-5/8" (A), 1-1/2" x 1-7/8" (B).
This is the twelfth and final set in series of frames that coordinate with a center cut out frame die cut, designed by the talented Heather Nichols. The center cut out can also be used with a coordinating image included in the set. Use the frames by themselves or combine both as well as the sentiments to add just the right detail to your paper crafting projects. Framed Out #12 features a instant photo style frame that will so much fun on cards and scrapbook pages too. Build your collection and build the possibilities!

Dawn McVey always has a way with words and this little set is a perfect example of it. Happy For You is a friendly little stamp set with four over-sized, cheery sentiments that are sure to be day-brighteners! NOTE: Unfortunately, this month's Pattern Packs were not printed in time for all of the team packages, so you will not be seeing these used within countdown projects. However, they are all ready for you to purchase release night if you wish. I am certain you will see them used in lots of future projects from the team!
For my first project I wanted to use the stems included in the new Heart-2-Heart #12 to form a vine border across the card front.
I started by die-cutting the stems from Simply Chartreuse cardstock and stamping them with the coordinating image using Ripe Avocado ink. I adhered them across my Classic Kraft card front using a 2-way glue pen. I then die-cut & stamped one of the dotted flowers from Heart-2-Heart #12 on various colors of cardstock using VersaMark ink. I incorporated a rainbow scheme using Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, Aqua Mist & Ocean Tides. After adhering the flowers in place, I punched an additional 1/4" circle from each cardstock and adhered them to the centers using small bits of foam tape.
I die-cut Framed Out #12 from white cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image using Charcoal Palette ink. For the interior of the frame, I stamped the sentiment from the same set in True Black and added the small heart, coloring it in with a Copic marker.
Everything was mounted onto a True Black card base to help bring emphasis to the sentiment so it doesn't get lost on the project.
My next project showcases how you can flip the new Framed Out #12 horizontally for a completely different look.
I started with creating my background and a Vintage Cream card base. I covered the bottom 3/4 of the card with adhesive and attached diamonds die-cut with the Cover Plate: Harlequin die. I created an ombre-style color scheme using Pure Poppy, Raspberry Fizz & Berry Sorbet.
I die-cut the frame from Vintage Cream cardstock using the Framed Out #12 die and stamped it with the coordinating image using Dark Chocolate ink. For the interior of the frame, I added the sentiment from the same set using Raspberry Fizz, followed by the stitched frame in Pure Poppy and the small heart in Berry Sorbet.
I love the different looks you can get with this frame just by turning it's orientation. You could even turn it upside down for even more possibilities.
My next project gives the new Heart-2-Heart set a bit of a folk art look.
I stamped the stems from Heart-2-Heart #10 in New Leaf ink, placing them on the same block and positioning them horizontally rather than the standard vertical orientation. I added the small heart from the same set in Hibiscus Burst. Followed by a small dot from Harvest Berries in Orange Zest. I punched out a 7/8" circle from Hawaiian Shores cardstock and mounted it between the stems using foam tape. I stamped the bee from Honey Bees in Summer Sunrise onto Harvest Gold cardstock and cut-out with scissors, adhering it onto the circle.
I created a sentiment strip with Aqua Mist cardstock, adding this sweet sentiment from Happy For You with Hawaiian Shores ink. Everything was mounted to a Hawaiian Shores card base.
For my last project I wanted to take a softer, pastel approach. I started with a block of Rustic White cardstock and stamped my stems (from Heart-2-Heart #12) along the bottom edge using Simply Chartreuse ink. Each stem was stamped twice without re-inking to create the shadow effect. The flowers were added using Enchanted Evening, Blueberry Sky & Spring Rain, stamping each bloom twice without re-inking as well. I used a small dot trio stamp from Harvest Berries in the center of each flower using Harvest Gold ink.
Another wonderful sentiment from Happy For You was used here, stamped in Charcoal Palette ink.
I opted to make some cardstock "ribbon" to accent the bottom of my card. I cut a 3/16" strip of Harvest Gold cardstock and adhered it in place using 1/8" Scor-tape. I then created the looped potion of the bow, cutting a separate piece to wrap around the center. I added "ends" using additional pieces. The paper ribbon was a perfect solution for this project because standard ribbons were much too wide and covered up too much of the floral design.
