Have you every been inspired to get paper crafting after browsing the shelves at the book store? Or excited by the cover of a particular catalog when it arrives in the mail? Cover art is a wonderful source of inspiration and it can be found all around you. Your challenge is to select one of my favorite covers above (or a cover of your own) and use it as inspiration to create a really unique project. Take things into consideration such as the layout of everything on the cover, the colors. the sentiment placement, etc. And most of all, have fun with it!
I have included an inlinkz list below for you to add your link to your blog hop project. This type of link list will allow you to select a thumbnail to go along with your link, making it easy to go back and find a project later that might have perked your interest.
You have until 11:30pm EST tonight (November 25th) to add your link to this list. THREE random participants will be selected to win a $25 PTI Gift Certificate to spend however they choose. They will be announced and highlighted here, on my blog, tomorrow morning. We look forward to seeing all of your creations!
EDITED TO ADD RANDOMLY SELECTED WINNERS:
Tracy McNeely used the new Pottery Barn catalog as her inspiration for this beautiful card. I love the simplicity of this along with the overall layout.
Karen Corbett found inspiration in one of the covers I shared with you in the inspiration graphic. The bright colors and the awesome coloring really jump from the cover making it a show piece.
Andrea Smith used one of my inspiration covers as well and created this festive Christmas card. I love how she mixed and matched so many stamp sets and really layered her colors beautifully.
Congratulations to all the winners! Please be sure to send a note off to customer service containing the email address you would like your $25 gift certificate sent to! And thank you to everyone who played along! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend!
