It is always fun to see what a group of people can do individually with a specific set of limited supplies. The various outcomes can be SO diverse! Today you will get to see what the team creates with just a handful of basic supplies, as well as demonstrate some additional project ideas with this year's Stamp-a-faire set, Natural Beauties!
Your challenge is to create a project using the limited supply list provided below. You can choose to re-create one of the designer projects or design something all your own.
These are the specifics that were provided to each of the team members. You can use as many or as few as you like and any inks you prefer. You may also add in dies, twine or glitter if you desire. Please do not use any other products besides those listed below, however you can substitute the Natural Beauties stamp set for another floral set if need be.
- STAMPS: Natural Beauties only (or another floral set as a substitute if needed)
- PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Simply Chartreuse
- RIBBON: Hawaiian Shores Bitty Dot
- BUTTONS: Simply Chartreuse
Using the supplies from the challenge, I decided to create a tall card and make my own background paper.
I stamped my block of white cardstock with just the detail layer of the flowers from Natural Beauties. The larger ones in Hawaiian Shores and the smaller ones in Aqua Mist.
I added leaves in Simply Chartreuse and centers to the large flowers with Summer Sunrise.
The sentiment is stamped on a block of Simply Chartreuse using Ripe Avocado ink. I used the Pinking Shears die to add borders of Hawaiian Shores cardstock. Simply Chartreuse buttons tied with twine flank either side of the sentiment.
Here is a specific list of my measurements and the extra supplies I added into the mix.
EXTRAS
- INK: Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Summer Sunrise, Ripe Avocado, Simply Chartreuse
- OTHER: Pinking Shears border die, corner rounder punch
MEASUREMENTS
- Aqua Mist card base (8" x 6-1/2", scored at 4" on the 8" side)
- Stamper's Select White background block (5-3/4" x 3")
