This months inspiration is a unique color scheme that has been popping up everywhere this spring. A bright green (Simply Chartreuse or New Leaf) paired with bold black & white patterns. Think gingham, argyle, checks or stripes. Really mix things up and enjoy the creative process! We look forward to seeing your creations today!
I have included an inlinkz list below for you to add your link to your blog hop project. This type of link list will allow you to select a thumbnail to go along with your link, making it easy to go back and find a project later that might have perked your interest.
You have until 11:30pm EST tonight (May 25th) to add your link to this list. THREE random participants will be selected to win a $25 PTI Gift Certificate to spend however they choose. They will be announced and highlighted here, on my blog, tomorrow morning. We look forward to seeing all of your creations!
EDITED TO ADD RANDOMLY SELECTED WINNERS:
Carol a.k.a. Krillsister took the inspiration and used black & white geometric patterns on her project. I love how the bold checks contrast with the softness of the hydrangea image. Just beautiful!
Cecilie chose to incorporate a frilly crocheted flower and a doily in her project, reinterpreting the round plates and bowl stacked on top of one another in the inspiration photo. I love how the flower was finished with the bold black button and black & white twine.
Denisse Cherry used the challenge to create a Father's Day Card with a big black mustache! I love this and I think the touch of green paired with her black & white color scheme works really well together. Such fantastic execution of a clean & simple design.
Congratulations to all of the winners! Please be sure to send a note to customer service with the email address you would like the gift certificate sent to. Thank yo to everyone else who stopped by yesterday to play along! With nearly 200 entries, there is definitely endless amounts of inspiration shared!
