Today I get the opportunity to introduce you to our anniversary set for this year, Pretty Peonies. This set will be available on our website beginning tonight at 10pm EST and will be available until February 14th, 2013. This set will not be available for purchase, it will only be available with the redemption of 24 Customer Rewards Points.
Pretty Peonies is a versatile set that has a little something for everyone. There are peonies for solid stamping and for those that love to color. The peony images have been applies to the large "happy" word and the butterfly to add a touch of beautiful & unique detail. There is also a large variety of sentiments to use to complement the images. A true classic beauty that you can definitely turn to again and again!
I created a little card with the set using one of my favorite color combinations of all time, OCean Tides, Spring Moss & Ripe Avocado.
I stamped the outlined versions of the flower and leaves using Noir Black Palette ink. I then colored them with Copic markers and carefully cut them out with scissors.
The frame is stamped onto Spring Moss cardstock with Ripe Avocado ink and cut out by hand as well. The sentiment was added with True Balck ink.
The background was stamped with Background Basics: MEdallions using Ripe Avocado ink on Ripe Avocado cardstock. The decorative strip down the center is Ocean Tides cardstock stamped with the outlined flower using Enchanted Evening ink. A simple card, but definitely elegant.
Here are some of the creations that the design team has created using Pretty Peonies...
I hope you have enjoyed the projects that we have all created using this new set. It truly is a joy to work with! Thank you for allowing us to share all of this with you! We hope Pretty Peonies is a set you can see yourself adding to your collection!

Now that I've gone over all the details, I would love to share what fun myself along with the rest of the team have had with these.
I have put together a short video tutorial to show you how this die collection works and how to best achieve the easy assembly.
And here are some project examples using the new Movers & Shakers: Zippers die collection.
I decided to create a project using the longer horizontal zipper. I die-cut the top layer from Ocean Tides and cut the back layer for the zipper component from Simply Chartreuse cardstock.
I pulled out Blooming Button Bits to create a focal point. I stamped the leaf image onto Simply Chartreuse cardstock using Pinefeather ink and cut it out with scissors. I then stamped the flowers, once on Summer Sunrise cardstock with Orange Zest ink, once on Terracotta Tile cardstock with VersaMark and once on Canyon Clay cardstock with Terracotta Tile ink. The flowers were also trimmed out with scissors. I stitched Canyon Clay buttons to the centers of all three flowers with dark brown embroidery floss.
The main sentiment, "Wishing You", was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with White Filigree Embossing Powder. The sentiment is from the Movers & Shakers Sentiments stamp set.
Along the perforated strip I stamped a dotted line from Faux Ribbon, also heat embossed. I added the "Pull Here" arrow from Movers & Shakers Sentiments with Ocean Tides ink.
When the zipper is "unzipped", the remainder of the sentiment is exposed.
The companion sentiment (also from Movers & Shakers Sentiments) is stamped onto the Simply Chartreuse cardstock with Pinefeather ink.
It's a bit hard to tell in the photo, but the Dark Chocolate layer is impressed with the Woodgrain Impression plate. All of this is affixed to a white cardbase.

Another video for you, this one covering the Movers & Shakers: Sliders dies.
And here are some project examples using the new Movers & Shakers: Sliders die collection.
I decided to turn the slider mechanism on its side for my project using these dies. To begin, I die-cut the top layer from Raspberry Fizz cardstock and the pull-out tag layer from Rustic Cream. The top Raspberry Fizz layer was stamped with Mega Mehndi Medallion using Raspberry Fizz ink.
I die-cut the focal sentiment (from Movers & Shakers Sentiments) using the Limitless Layers 2.25" Oval die collection. This was stamped onto the Rustic Cream cardstock using Orange Zest ink. I then stamped the sentiment a second time onto scrap cardstock and trimmed out just the "amazing" and "extraordinary" and adhered them to appropriate areas on the original. It was matted in Orange Zest. A strip of Terracotta Tile Satin Ribbon was added underneath the oval. It is important to note that just the left side of the oval is adhered to the slider door. The right side needed to remain loose so that the slider mechanism would work correctly. As a finishing touch, I added one of the small butterflies from Beautiful Butterflies, stamped in Orange Zest ink on Summer Sunrise cardstock, adorned with a few pink rhinestones.
I stamped the tab of the tag pull-out with a small "Pull Here" from Movers & Shakers Sentiments using True Black ink.
When you begin to pull on the tab as instructed, the slider door begins to move, exposing a bit more of the tag pull-out.
When it is pulled all the way open, the interior sentiment is fully revealed. Note how the extra tab at the end of the tag-pull out adhered to the end of the door mechanism keep the tag from pulling all the way out.
The pull-out showcases a Beautiful Butterfly stamped in Orange Zest and a Mega Mehndi Medallion in Raspberry Fizz. The companion sentiment is added in true Black.
The background was created with A Little Argyle stamped onto Terracotta Tile cardstock stamped with VersaMark ink. I used a gold paint pen to add small dots between the diamonds and to edge the mat layer. All of this is adhered to an Orange Zest card base.
