Your enthusiasm for all of the anniversary announcements so far has been so amazing! We are so thrilled to hear all of your comments, well-wishes and gratitude.
First, let me share today's sneak peeks of some of the products that are coming up this release!
Melissa Bickford has designed a new set that focuses on lamps. From stylish & modern to pretty & petite, there are a variety of different styles and mixable bases & shades for lots of variation. And the sentiments all provide a perfect pairing, making the set so easy to use.
Lisa Johnson has created a spring themed set to coordinate with her popular Christmas Label stamp set and die. The textures and patterns included in this set are just amazing. And I can't neglect to mention just how wonderful her small companion images are. Such an adorable set!
Heather Nichols is bringing you a follow-up to her previously released Egg Hunt set. This new set coordinates with the original Egg Hunt die and has so many cute little add-ons. You will instantly love how versatile this set is!
And now onto the announcements for today's anniversary festivities, our reinvented stamp packaging! We have revisited & revamped every single aspect of our stamp packaging to streamline the entire system and provide the customer with more versatile storage options, complete with a built-in cataloging system. Let me show you all the amazing details!
The new packaging includes a clear box (same size for both 1-sheet & 2-sheet sets), the stamps, a 4-3/4" x 6-1/2" folded insert (with fold at top) and flat index label(s).
Standard stamp sets will still be packaged in a clear box, but it is much smaller and slimmer, allowing you to fit two-and-a-half new sets in place of one of the older two-sheet set boxes. The new boxes are a slim 1/2" and measure only 4-7/8" x 6-1/2".
The folded insert sandwiches the index label(s) and keeps them flat so they are easier for you to apply to your chosen method of storage. The index labels now measure 4x6-inches, the same size as the stamp sheets. This new larger size allows the stamp images on the index labels to show images placed in the exact same places they appear on the actual stamp sheets. This ensures that all of the images will fit perfectly every time with no overlapping. The new packaging no longer includes a complimentary CD case, however we will be selling DVD-sized calendar cases in a set of 5 for $7 beginning on February 15th. The new 4x6-inch index labels will also work well with many clear sleeve storage options for binders.
On the interior of the new inserts, you will find the instructions printed inside. The directions have been revised & revamped to include lots of tips & basics that many will find helpful as they use & store their new stamps.
On the opposite end of the insert interior you will find a copy of the tip sheet for your new set, which was previously just published online. This new printed reference will be something you can look to when actually using the set in your studio space.
The folded insert has been designed so that you can cut it in half at the fold and collect/store the tip sheets and develop your own cataloging system. Note the way the title of the stamp set has been placed along the side of the tip sheet so they can be kept in a file box and easily flipped through.
When you cut the insert, this is what appears on the back of the tip sheet, therefore the reverse of your collectable reference card. There is a section at the top that features coordinating products which will include dies or stamp sets that complement the set well. Below that is a copy of all the images from the set. With this as a part of your new reference system, you can easily develop a thorough catalog of your collection and all for free.
The new boxes are the perfect size for giving or storing A2 sized cards. This size should prove to be much more beneficial to you than the previous larger size.
We are really thrilled with this "packaging makeover" and hope you are too. Here are a few answers to some anticipated frequently asked questions:
Are you switching ALL of your stamp sets to this new packaging? Even previously released sets?
At this time we are starting the new packaging program with new releases only. This means that the new stamps being released February 15th will be the only sets with this new packaging. We are currently organizing a schedule for revamping previously released sets so that eventually our entire collection will be switched over, however it will take some time to complete this monumental task.
Is the price of stamp sets going down since we no longer receive a complementary CD case?
The prices of the stamp sets are staying the same ($15 for a single sheet set, $24 for a two-sheet set). With the increased costs of the larger index label(s) and the extra printing costs for the new folded reference insert, we had to keep pricing the same even though there is no longer a CD case included.
How will I store my stamps since they no longer come with CD cases?
The new 4x6 index labels will coordinate with DVD cases as well as clear stamp storage sleeves for those that prefer binder systems. We will be selling DVD cases separately in a set of 5 for $7 beginning February 15th. The DVD cases we have selected to carry are a much sturdier plastic, manufactured by the same company that creates our calendar cases.
