Now that I have introduced you to all of the products, let's move onto the projects!
My first project uses the adorable little guy from Winter Penguin!
I started by using the reverse side of the Peace Be Still Impression Plate with Spring Rain cardstock. The detail in this is just beautiful.
At the top of the card I added a banner die-cut with the Banner Builder dies and stamped with the coordinating stamp set. I then added Block Alphabet die-cut letters, created from Aqua Mist cardstock & Prisma Glitter.
The penguin was stamped with Smokey Shadow ink and then his feet and beak colored with a Copic Marker. I created a little flag for him to hold with Banner Builder and the word "birthday" from Tag-its #10. It was attached to a toothpick for a bit of a realistic touch. His hat was stamped with Aqua Mist then colored with a B95 Copic Marker.
I used the In the Meadow dies for the snowdrifts, cut from Aqua Mist cardstock. I stamped the smaller front layer with Winterberry using Fresh Snow ink, then the larger layer with Background Basics: Circles. A bit of glitter was added to the top edge of each drift with a 2-way glue pen.
While experimenting with all of the sets I am introducing today, I discovered that the little cupcake from Tag-its #10 was the perfect size to fit in the penguins hand.
I started by die-cutting a Half & Half die from Summer Sunrise cardstock and stamping it with Background Basics: Circles using Orange Zest ink. I then die-cut a Hawaiian Shores standard circle and stamped it with the Tag-its #10 frame with Hawaiian Shores ink. This was matted with a scalloped layer using Orange Zest cardstock. The penguin was stamped with True Black ink. I snipped a bit of Raspberry Fizz cardstock into a triangle for his hat and stamped it with Background Basics: Circles using Fresh Snow ink. A small rhinestone tops it off. The cupcake was stamped with Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz and Summer Sunrise.
The sentiment, from the previously released Make a Wish, was stamped onto a banner strip using True Black ink.
I impressed the Raspberry Fizz background with the By the Numbers impression plate. All of this was adhered to an Orange Zest card base.
This next project uses the cupcake from Birthdays By the Numbers.
I die-cut white cardstock with the Mat Stack 5 die and stamped the cupcake base in Simply Chartreuse, the top in Berry Sorbet, the candle in Pure Poppy and the flame in Summer Sunrise. "Happy Birthday", from Enjoy the Ride, was added in True Black.
I matted this on a piece of Berry Sorbet Cardstock die-cut with the Mega Mat Stack 1 die and stamped it with Background Basics: Gingham in Pure Poppy. Pure Poppy Stitched ribbon was added in between the layers and finished with Pure Poppy buttons. The Simply Chartreuse layer in the back was stamped with the new Stitches & Swirls set in Ripe Avocado (more about this set later in the week!)
Next, I wanted to do something a bit more bright & bold.
I die-cut Mat Stack 3 from white cardstock and stamped the frame from Tag-its #10 in Summer Sunrise. I added the banner from the same set with Noir Palette ink and colored the pennants in with Copic Markers. The numbers, from Birthdays By the Numbers, were stamped in Pure Poppy and the suffix in True Black.
I die-cut several letters with the new Block Alphabet die collection using an entire rainbow of colors. Everything was adhered to a Pure Poppy card base matted with True Black cardstock.
Now for something a bit more soft and pastel...
I die-cut the Spiral Notebook Page die from Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped it with the cupcake images from Birthdays By the Numbers. The base is is Spring Moss, the top in Sweet Blush, the candle in Hibiscus Burst and the flame in Summer Sunrise. I added a strip of Sweet Blush cardstock to the bottom edge, stamping it with Background Basics: Circles in Hibiscus Burst. The sentiment from Tag-its #10 was added in Smokey Shadow ink. The whole piece was sponged with Tea Dye Duo.
The bow was created with Sweet Blush Swiss Dot Ribbon. The upper part of the background is from a new die that we are introducing later on in the week. The bottom portion is stamped with Faux Ribbon in Vintage Cream.
To complete the project, I adhered everything to the front of a Vintage Cream card base.
For my last project today I thought I would make you a holiday card using the previously released Winterberry set and it's new coordinating die.
I stamped the Tag-its #10 frame with Fresh Snow ink onto a 1.75" circle cut from Kraft cardstock. I added the sentiment in True Black. I die-cut the Winterberry die twice from Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped them with the coordinating image in Ripe Avocado ink. Rhinestones were added to represent berries of some sort.
I pieced together several of the beautiful Holiday Flourishes & Swirls patterns together to create the card cover background.
I hope you have enjoyed all of the projects that I have created for you today. As you can see, these products are extraordinarily versatile and add so much style to projects. They are a joy to work with and I am confident that they will get lots of use once they find their way into your studio. We would love to hear your thoughts on today's introductions.
