Here we are kicking off round two of the September Release Countdown! I have several fun things to showcase for you today, so sit back and enjoy!

Now, wrapping gifts & making tags for the holidays is one of my favorite crafty ventures to undertake. It is quick & easy and leaves such an impact on the recipient. There is nothing better than being handed a perfectly wrapped package knowing that there is something special inside awaiting you!

Now, changing gears a little bit, some of today's projects are dedicated to dandelions, the new design focus for Flower Fusion #8.
Dandelions are so soft and wispy...
But they can also be modern & bold.
Dandelions are a very popular motif right now and they can be found is patterns & design everywhere.
They look wonderful layered over bold shapes.
And they can even be a strong enough feature to carry a simple design application.
Melissa Bickford's new Flower Fusion is *just dandy*. It features a lined dandelion image as well as a bold reverse version. And the *dandy* sentiments she included are perfectly executed! Certainly a must have!

Our Mat Stack dies are among our most popular products and this month we are continuing our new series geared towards them. Each month we will be introducing both a "Layerz" and "Mega" versions of the Mat Stacks. The "Layerz" version is approximately 1/8" of an inch larger all the way around, making it the perfect scale to mat the existing Mat Stack 2 shape. The "Mega" version is blown-up to be A2 card cover size and not necessarily used as a mat for anything. Just a fun super-sized way to jazz up your projects.

Now let's get to the projects!
This first tag is super simple thanks to the help of a few dies!
I die-cut Tag Sale #3 from Ripe Avocado cardstock. I was then able to utilize the dotted embossed detail around the edge to my advantage and use it as a guide for stitching. Super easy and quick!
I used the ends of the embroidery floss to tie a Melon Berry button into place. I then die-cut the large Holly Jolly leaves from Spring Moss cardstock and stamped them with Background Basics: Newsprint using Ripe Avocado ink. The leaves tucked nicely under the button and were adhered in place.
The sentiment, from Think Big Favorites #8, was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with White Filigree Embossing Powder.
I finished it off with some Melon Berry Swiss Dot Ribbon.
This next tag uses the Layerz Mat Stack 2 die as it's base, die-cut from new Autumn Rose cardstock (more about this new color later on in the week!).
I die cut Vintage Cream cardstock with the Limitless Layers 1.75" Circle die and stamped it with the snowflake frame from Tag-its #8 using Scarlet Jewel ink. I stamped the frame a second time after rotating the frame just a bit, without re-inking for a lighter shadow effect. I punched out the center of the frame using a 7/8" circle punch. A layer of vintage book print was added underneath.
I stamped the sentiment from 2009 Holiday Tags onto a strip of Scarlet Jewel cardstock using True Black ink. I trimmed it into a strip and adhered it across the snowflake frame. I added flower shaped rhinestones to either side for balance.
The base of this snowman tag was created with the Limitless Layers 2.5" Circle die place just above the fold of an Ocean Tides card. The frame was created with the standard circles from both the Limitless Layers 2.5" & 1.75" Circle die sets and then covered with glitter.
Inside, I stamped the snowflake frame with Aqua Mist and the snowman in Smokey Shadow. I added a bit of color to the snowman using Copics and then some shimmer with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
I attached the tag to the handle of a bucket using white floss and an Ocean Tides button.
I figured a card was in order that used the two holiday sets together and here are my results.
I die-cut a strip of white cardstock using a Half & Half die. The sentiment, from Think Big Favorites #8, was stamped on the strip using True Black ink. Pure Poppy Baker's Twine was wrapped around the torn end.
Snowflakes from Tag-its #8 were added with Pure Poppy ink. I finished some of the centers with red rhinestones for extra sparkle.
The right-hand edge of the Kraft card base was stamped with Background Basics: Chevron Stripes using Fresh Snow ink.
This is a perfect thank you for nearly any occasion, but especially meaningful during the fall.
The focal point was created with layers cut with both Mega Mat Stack 1 & Mega Mat Stack 2. It layers the flower & stem images from Flower Fusion #8 in Orange Zest & Terracotta Tile.
The decorative brackets are from Mat Stack 2 Collection and were added with True Black ink.
A bit of Background Basics: Text Style was added to the bottom with VersaMark ink. Mehndi Medallion was used on the Terracotta Tile Mega Mat Stack 1 layer with VersaMark ink. I also used a gold paint pen to add a bit of definition to the edges of the focal point.
I think this card is unique and really highlights how versatile this new set can be.
I have one last card for you today using Flower Fusion #8.
I decided to pair it up with the stems and leaves from Daydreamer. They are definitely a perfect match. The stems & leaves were stamped in Simply Chartreuse ink. The flowers in Hawaiian Shores, layered over Aquas Mist impressions.
I added a bit of shimmer to each flower using my Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
The sentiment was stamped in True Black and then I tied the floss in place using some 1/4" hole punches slots as my guide.
