As tradition holds, I like to share some of my favorite DT projects from this release the morning after. I hope some of the art I selected leaves you as inspired as it did me!
Betsy Veldman made the most incredible project using Bells & Boughs combined with Edgers #2 die. The little touch of real ribbon and a single jingle bell are just perfect. And notice how she stamped the music background from opposite sides of the card cover to help balance out the sentiment. Just fabulous!
Danielle Flanders used Flower Fusion #8 in a really creative way by adding the flowers to circles. The color scheme paired with the angular way she positioned everything on the card make this a unique piece that is sure to catch anyones eye!
Dawn McVey used bright & bold colors for this happy little holiday card. I simply adore the way that she layered the Half & Half die under the frame layers from Christmas Labels. Her use of sentiments from Christmas Blessings and the way she combined two of them to create visual balance is perfectly executed!
Debbie Olson layered the tree pieces from Love Lives Here: Holiday for he focal point on this pastel creation. She used one of the Damask Snowflakes as a decorative mat for the tree, completely coated in beautiful glitter. One of the Tiny Tags die cut tags worked perfectly with her card design.
Erin Lincoln paired up one of the outlined frosting images from Cupcake Collection with the new Candy Cane Christmas mug to look like whipped cream! The little peppermint stick peeping out with the touch of a a die-cut Holly Jolly piece are perfect finishing touches!
Heather Nichols used the new Pine Boughs dies to create her own paper evergreens to accent the frame from Christmas Labels. She also used one of the sentiments from Stylish Sentiments: Holiday inside the frame. The use of Background Basics; Woodgrain on the card front really help to reinforce the "woodsy" theme!
Jessica Witty cleverly created lollipops from the large peppermint images in Candy Cane Christmas. The color scheme is bright and bold and pairing the accents up with the sentiment from Wonderful Words Additions is just perfect. Those lollipops would look adorable as accents on wrapped gifts for sure!
Lisa Johnson used the distressed reverse snowflake square image from Winter Cheer to create this super clean & simple card. I love the different colors she chose for the side strip. Plus the addition of the single sentiment (from Christmas Blessings) on the right was the perfect amount of balance, just what the project needed.
Maile Belles presented this card early on in the Bells & Boughs countdown and it still remains as one of my favorites. The way she layered the Background Basics: Sheet Music subtly under the bells grounded everything with style. The two-tone effect created with the boughs. The bells popped up for dimension. Everything is just executed beautifully!
Melissa Phillips made this beautiful project with Candy Cane Christmas & Think Big Favorites #8. The way she layered a lace border over the Mat Stack 2 die is so pretty & clever. All of the sparkly glitter on the mug is a real show stopper too!
Michelle Wooderson pretty color scheme for this Bells & Boughs project is just so soft and luminescent. I love how she added the strips of cardstock to the Photo Finish Strip die. And I also like the way she used the Mega Mat Stack 2 die-cut on a vertical card. I would have never thought to have done that, but it looks absolutely amazing! Especially with the stitching!
Aren't they all just amazing?!?!?! I love each one of these creations so much! I hope you are really feeling ready to create for the holidays with the past week of projects and those showcased today! Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
