Senior DT Challenge: Spooky Sweets II Revisited

With all of the fun Halloween products we debuted last month I thought it would be fun to continue the momentum with a look back at a popular Halloween set from the past!

Spooky Sweets II is a super fun Halloween set, full of spooky images perfectly suited for creating your own customized treats.  The look and feel of this set has a certain air of sophistication, but still maintains a fun approach to this frighteningly festive holiday!  Here's a look at the team's fresh creations using this classic!

Make It Monday #30: Colored Pencils

Everybody is crazy over Copic markers, but we're kickin' it old school today with a video on colored pencils. Let Jennifer show you how inexpensive, blendable, and impressive projects can be using this coloring medium.

If you are joining along this week, here are the details concerning the Make It Monday Challenge.

--One randomly selected winner will be chosen from ALL the entries on Monday, September 5th, after 7am.  The winner will be posted here on this blog post, on Twitter and Facebook.  The randomly selected winner will get to select a FREE Papertrey stamp set of their choice!

August 2011 Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the August Papertrey Blog Hop!  We are so thrilled to see you here!  First, the challenge...

We have another amazing inspirational photo for you this month that we just know will bring out the very best in your creativity!  Look closely and there are so many directions to go in!  You can choose to focus on the colors, the motifs, or the idea of incorporating books/book print or even jars.  We look forward to seeing your creations!

I have included an inlinkz list below for you to add your link to your blog hop project.  This new type of link list will allow you to select a thumbnail to go along with your link, making it easy to go back and find a project later that might have perked your interest.

Marge R. put together a clean & simple creation using Botanical Silhouettes.  I love the way she paired up the Half & Half  and the Edgers #3 dies.  Such a classy touch!

Cathy created a stunning card with one of my favorite color combos, sky blue and red.  The twine and the Bloom Builder #3 combination is not only lovely to look at, but creates a wonderful sense of balance.

Karen Buck put a unique twist on the challenge and decided to focus on the pattern found on the lining of the suitcase.  I love her take on this and her layout is simply divine!

August 2011 Blog Hop Today!

Today we are excited to present the BIG monthly Blog Hop that Papertrey Ink hosts for all of it's talented customers to show off their skills! 

The Blog Hop is an ALL DAY EVENT!  A new link list will be posted here on my blog at 10am EST and you can add your link anytime up until 11:30pm EST.  And don't worry if you aren't going to get a chance to make a project and play along, there will be a contest for non-participants as well over in our forum in the designated thread. I hope that I will see many of your familiar faces over here today! I look forward to seeing all of your creativity!
