Just popping in to say that Papertrey Radio #14 will be delayed a week. The next episode will air on Saturday, August 6th at 10:00 AM. We will also be changing to an once a month schedule for new episodes following the next airing. As always, thanks for your interest, participation, and euthusiam in what we hope is a fun addition to Papertrey Ink. 

Stamp-a-faire Winner: Challenge #10

I apologize for this being a day late.  Right after returning home from Stamp-a-faire, I had to jump right into school preparations for my three little ones.  This is their first year at a new school since moving, so there were lots of extras to take care of, along with meetings and oodles of paperwork.

Today was their very first day... this will be the first year that all of them go all day.  I already miss little Ethan!  He's in Pre-K, Hannah is in Third and Owen is in Fourth.  They were excited for all of their new adventures to begin!  This is a quick pic I took with my iPhone (pardon the image quality) before I dropped them off.  They just get so big so fast!

July 2011 Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the July Papertrey Blog Hop!  We are so thrilled to see you here!  First, the challenge...

We have another amazing inspirational photo for you this month that we just know will bring out the very best in your creativity!  Look closely and there are so many directions to go in!  you can choose to focus on the colors, the motifs or the overall design!  We look forward to seeing your projects!

EDITED TO ADD RANDOMLY SELECTED WINNERS:

Laura Isham wowed me with the embossing she created with the Parisian Doily die to frame up her sentiment.  The large ribbon makes such an unforgettable statement as well!

Elena created an impressive ruffled focal point underneath the frame opening on the cover of her gorgeous card, which mimics some of the pillows in the inspiration photo.

Laurie W. kept things simple with her design, but the pop of color she added with Mehndi Medallion on the butterfly die-cut is just unbelievable.  Will definitely have to try this!

Make It Monday #25: Coloring With White Ink

It's Christmas in July with this holiday project by Heather.  Put the idea aside until you are ready, but use the technique of coloring with white ink today on your next project. It's a double whammy creativity-wise today. Here's the video:

If you are joining along this week, here are the details concerning the Make It Monday Challenge.

--A new Make It Monday Challenge & video will go up every Monday morning at 9am EST.

--Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge.  Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and features coloring with white ink. 

--Post your project on your blog, in your gallery or on any other photo-hosting site (such as photobucket or flickr).

--Add your project to our --->InLinkz List HERE<---

--You will have until 7am, Monday, August 1st, to add your link to the list to be eligible to win.  And you can enter as many times as you like.

--We will be tweeting and posting on our Facebook page every night (between 5-9pm EST) highlighting a Featured Project.  These tweets/Facebook postings will just be a shout-out regarding projects that caught our eye.  The tweets/Facebook postings no longer have any special merit regarding the actual contest.
