It's hard to believe that the very last day of the May countdown is here! Yet just because it's the last day doesn't mean we have a lack of AMAZING products to introduce to you today!
Melissa Phillips & I have collaborated again to bring you an amazing stamp set that is ful of her style and vintage charm.
Garden Variety is a set dedicated to the love of gardening. With classic gardening accessories and a customizable seed packet frame, you will adore all the mix & match option available. The heartwarming sentiments that Melissa Phillips developed as companions for the darling images will be the perfect thing for so many occasions.
The details.
- Garden Variety will be available for sale on May 15th.
- It will retail for $24.
- Garden Variety includes a total of 25 stamps (1 watering can, 1 stem & leaf bunch, 2 flower overlays for stems, 1 tiny flower trio, 1 pair of gardening gloves, 2 gardening hand tools, 2 small design accents, 1 seed packet frame, 7 seed packet accessory titles/phrases and 7 sentiments.
- A coordinating die for this set will be available for sale separately for $7. The die coordinates with the watering can, both tools and the garden gloves images. The frame in the set coordinates with our seed packet die (details below).
Many months ago the talented Erin Lincoln shared an idea with me that happened to tie in perfectly with this stamp set.
She suggested that we have a seed packet frame die that allowed stampers to layer the floral images behind it without having to do any masking. The final die coordinates perfectly with the seed packet frame stamp included in Garden Variety. You will love mixing this set with the new Year of Flowers Collection as well as other sets in your existing collection.
The details.
- The Seed Packet Frame die will be available for sale on May 15th.
- It will retail for $6.
- The Seed Packet Frame die measures 2 3/8" x 3 1/2".
- It was sized to exactly the same dimensions as our Button Card die, so you can layer one on top of the other if you wish.
Along with the Garden Variety stamp set concept, Melissa Phillips also suggested to complementary dies to coordinate well with it's theme.
The first of which is an actual Seed Packet die. This die will allow you to create a small seed packet envelope out of any patterned paper or cardstock you choose. It is sized perfectly to coordinate with the Seed Packet Frame die & stamp.
The details.
- The Seed Packet die will be available for sale on May 15th.
- It will retail for $18.
- The Seed Packet die measures 5-3/4" x 5". It creates a seed packet that measures 2-5/8" x 3-3/4", which is the perfect size to a hold a gift card or other small trinkets & treasures.
The second die that Melissa Phillips helped to conceptualize was an adorable little Picket Fence die. The die cuts three pieces at once. The first is an entire picket fence shape, which can be used by itself. It also cuts two straight rails that can be layered on top of the picket fence to make it look more realistic. The rails even feature small embossed dots that mark the centers of each picket so you can add a brad in the style of a "nail", small stitches or anything else you can dream up.
The details.
- The Picket Fence die will be available for sale on May 15th.
- It will retail for $5.
- The Picket Fence die measures 2-1/4" x 2-1/2". It creates a finished picket fence that measures 2-1/4" x 1-1/4".
I have one additional stamp set to introduce today and that is a new version of an old favorite. We have taken our entire Year of Flowers series from last year and scaled the images down to fit into a single $24 set. The new version of these blooms is on average about half the size they were in their previously released format. This new size opens up so many design opportunities and coordination options! Not to mention, they work extraordinarily well with the new Seed Packet die!
The details.
- Year of Flowers Collection will be available for sale on May 15th.
- It will retail for $24.
- Year of Flowers Collection contains a total of 16 stamps (1 each of the twelve flowers and 4 sentiments)
Here are the dimensions of each flower in the set for your reference...

I have some amazing projects to share with you today using all these goodies, so let's get started!
I thought I would start off with some basic seed packets. With all of the tools we are providing you, these little works f art are super easy to create and the results are always very polished. The seed packet is the perfect size for a gift card or any other little trinkets & treasures.
To begin, I die-cut my patterned paper with the new Seed Packet die and adhered it together.
I then die-cut the Seed Packet Frame from Vintage Cream cardstock.
After adding the frame and companion titles/phrases from Garden Variety, this vintage style seed packet is coming to life.
As I mentioned in my product outline above, The new Seed Packet Frame die has the same exact dimensions as the Button Card die. You can use it as a second layer under the frame without having to worry about rounding the corners or getting it to the right size.
I stamped the mums image from the Year of Flowers Collection with Black Noir onto the button card. I colored the mums and had to do very little shading since the image is so detailed.
When you layer all the pieces together you end up with this...couldn't you just die from the adorableness!
The finished seed packet is so authentic looking, you will want to just sit and make more! Which is exactly what I did!
Here is one I created in pretty much the same method except I flipped the frame around and stuck to a soft, pastel color scheme.
The morning glories were stamped with Smokey Shadow and then I added Background Basics: Newsprint with the same color except I stamped off first to lighten the shade a bit.
This one was more in the earth tone family. It showcases how well the Wildflower Garden images can work with the packets.
The fern image was stamped in Ripe Avocado and then I added a layer of Background Basics: Woodgrain stamped in VersaMark. I added a little postage cancellation image from Postmarks to help add balance.
Next, I have a fun little card that showcases how you can use the Fruit Fusion sets with the seed packet products as well.
I die-cut the Seed Packet Frame from Sweet Blush cardstock and stamped the coordinating frame in Pure Poppy. I die-cut the Button Card from white cardstock and stamped it with Background Basics: Gingham using Sweet Blush ink. The cherry image from Fruit Fusion: Cherries was added last. The sentiment is from Garden Variety.
I cut a piece of Pure Poppy Bitty Dot paper with the Medium Scallop border die and stitched it onto my white card base to help balance the project. I just love the way this seed packet frame looks when applied to a card! Don't you?
This project is a bit on the softer side. It uses the two hand tool images from Garden Variety, which I am totally in love with!
To start the card, I stamped the carnations image from Year of Flowers Collection along the bottom and side of my Kraft card base. I used Vintage Cream ink for this.
I outlined each flower with a T1 Copic marker to help add definition.
I die-cut an Angled Label from Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating frame from Label Basics using Ocean Tides ink. The hand tools from Garden Variety were added with Smokey Shadow ink. I trimmed a vellum strip and stamped it with one of my favorite sentiments from Wildflower Garden using Black Noir ink.
I scored the vellum strip to fit nicely over the focal point. Two vintage cream buttons tied with Rustic Jute Button Twine finish off either end of the strip.
The watering can in Garden Variety is another one of my favorites. The flower fillers that are included are SO easy to use and provide such artistic results!
I stamped the background of my card with the gladiolus image from Year of Flowers Collection using Versamark ink. I added a strip of Spring Moss cardstock stamped with Background Basics: Gingham to the side and stitched it in place with my sewing machine.
For the focal point I first stamped the watering can with Spring Rain ink. I then added the stems in Spring Moss and the flowers in Raspberry Fizz. The sentiment, also from Garden Variety, was added with Smokey Shadow.
To add a little pop pf Raspberry Fizz, I created this fun zigzag strip with my pinking shears. I threaded a Raspberry Fizz button with a small sliver of Raspberry Fizz cardstock and knotted it in place. I also added a bit of vintage book print die cut with the Small Scallop border die.
I love pastel cards that have tiny pops of bright color like this. They seem so cheerful and full of sunshine!
This project utilizes the unique gardening gloves image from Garden Variety.
I stamped the gloves first in Terracotta Tile then added little sprouts of grass with the grass image from Love Lives Here. The flower trio stamp used is included in Garden Variety and those were stamped in Summer Sunrise. The sentiment was added with Dark Chocolate and the small heart (from Love Lives Here) was added in Summer Sunrise. I also stamped the sweet peas image from Year of Flowers Collection around the edge of the card front a bit with Haystack Palette ink.
I created a border with a bit of Rustic Jute Button Twine to finish the project. I think this would be a fantastic project in a variety of colors!
My last project for today uses vintage book print in a fun & unique way.
I trimmed out a piece of book print and stamped it with the violets image from the Year of Flowers Collection. I then colored the violets in using Copic markers. The picket fence was die-cut from white cardstock and I stitched the two rails into place with purple embroidery floss.
I drew a frame around the book print and added a sentiment from Garden Variety.
