Here we are, our 4th Anniversary festivities coming to a close. It has been so much fun...like having all my stamping friends over each day to play. While the huge fanfare may be over, I still have some incredible inspiration to share with you today! As is tradition, I have selected my absolute favorite projects from each of the design team members and the new gallery items for this month.
Betsy Veldman cleverly used Flower Fusion #1 to create this folk art style motif. Love this!
Danielle Flanders completely wowed me with the way she abstractly created a "sunrise" with layers of Doily Details die shapes. The mixture of cardstock & felt was amazing as well! It all goes perfectly with this sentiment from Hello, Friend.
Dawn McVey always has a fantastic use of color and this project just showcases that. Her perfectly balanced embellishments and details were just simply spot on. I adored her use of the new Button Boutique stamp set paired up with her Friendly Flower die. And I can't forget to mention the way she used Bitty Background Blocks on the leaves of her flower!
Debbie Olson worked her Copic magic with the crocus/tulip bouquet image from the new Friendship Jar Spring Fillers set. I just love the way she layered the ribbon behind the focal point so that it didn't take away from the simply beauty of the image.
Erin Lincoln always has something innovative up her sleeve and she pulled it out here for her Hello, Friend project. I love how she stamped the flower image in black and then colored the letters in "celebrate" with markers. It is an awesome effect that could be used for so many things!
Heather Nichols made these adorable spring tags for you, which you saw earlier this week. But I jut had to feature them here again. She embraced these images from Friendship Jar Spring Fillers so well and then paired with the Doily Details layers and the Mat Stack 4 heat embossed "tags"...just a match made in heaven!
Jessica Witty impressed me with the bold punches of color she used int he project paired with the layering of frames. She used the Mat Stack 4 Collection polka-dot frame layered under the new Tag-its #1 frame. She then used one of the banner images from Mat stack 4 Collection again, to frame out the sentiment. Perfectly executed, as always.
Lisa Johnson created this simple tag that really caught my eye. The base of the tag was created with the Tag Sale #3 die and the background strip with Background Basics: Newsprint. The fun polka-dot frame image was created with Fillable Frames Additions 1, while the small cake image & sentiment are both from Tag-its #1.
Maile Belles already received a lot of attention for this particular card, but I couldn't deny the projects it's place as my favorite from Maile this month! Using all those colors and patterns on the buttons and then arranging them in such a fantastically "random" pattern is just amazing!
Melissa Phillips layered on the flowers & lace for these beautifully vintage tags using Hello, Friend. One of my favorite things is the way she used the little square swatch die from the Button Card Collection in conjunction with the new Bitty Background Basics. They become perfect little areas to add her sentiments!
Michelle Wooderson worked with Floral Fusion #1 here to create this beautifully layered card. One of my favorite things is the way she layered cut Doily Details shapes all over the card front. Such a fantastic look!
