Welcome everyone to the February Papertrey Blog Hop! We are so thrilled to see you here! First, the challenge...
This month we decided to dedicate the Blog Hop to scallops! We want to see your best use of scallops, of any sort, on a project! This can include scalloped borders, offset-scallops, stamped scallops, scalloped mats, scalloped frames, layered scallops, scalloped tags or anything else you can dream up! You can use dies, patterned scissors or even circle punches in a row to achieve your special look. We are looking forward to seeing all of your amazing creations!
I have included an inlinkz list below for you to add your link to your blog hop project. This new type of link list will allow you to select a thumbnail to go along with your link, making it easy to go back and find a project later that might have perked your interest.
You have until 11:00pm EST tonight (February 25th) to add your link to this list. THREE random participants will be selected to win a FREE Papertrey Ink stamp set of their choice. They will be announced and highlighted here, on my blog, tomorrow morning. We look forward to seeing all of your creations!
EDITED TO ADD THE RANDOMLY SELECTED WINNERS:
Jazzytobi created this stunner with offset scallops stamped with In Bloom. Her color scheme as well as the simple ribbon accent are a perfect pair. Her soft color addition around the sentiment focal point help to lend a lovely delicacy to the project.
Jessica Davis layered a few scalloped borders at the bottom of her card, which brings together a bright & unique color scheme. I love how she carried the color scheme into her background, which is stamped with images from the new Delightful Doilies stamp set.
Joyce M cleverly used a scalloped circle to create a folded "flap" for her flower pot. I also love how she layered all of the flowers from In Bloom to create a bouquet. The twine & button accent around the pot is a perfect finishing detail.
