I am so pleased to be able to bring you the traditional morning after post! It has been a whirlwind of a month and the design team has once again provided an amazing array of eye candy to inspire all of us! I just had to stop by and share some of my favorites with you today!
Betsy Veldman layered two of the snowflakes from Peace Be Still to create this beautiful focal point for her project. IT is such a simple technique, especially with the coordinating dies that are available for the set. I also love the way she turned the Fillable Frames #8 vertically to create a frame for the embellishment. Truly fabulous!
Dawn McVey used the new Stocking Prints to create this adorable felt stocking. The tiny piece of trim created with the Rickrack die and Raspberry Fizz felt is one of the most clever things I have seen yet! And you gotta love the little peppermint candy sticking up from the edge of the stocking, an image from Background Basics: Christmas. Holiday Spirit Sentiments style complemented the project perfectly as well.
Debbie Olson wowed me with the felt snowdrifts she created to go along with the trees from Trees With Trimmings. The pinked edges on them are just amazing! She perfectly layered several of the trees between the felt layers, creating soft dimension and an unforgettable project!
Erin Lincoln simply took my breath away with these tags created with Peace Be Still. The base of the tags was created with the Tag Sale #1 die and embossed with the new Background Basics: Diamonds Impression Plate. And we can't forget the little piece of the Christmas Tree die that she used as well. Can't you just picture these tied onto gifts wrapped in simple Kraft paper? Just love these so much!
Heather Nichols combined several of my favorite images from this release to create this beautiful holiday card. Wreath for All Seasons provided a focal point, layered on top of the Spiral Notebook Page die. A sentiment from Inside & Holiday flanks the side of the focal point to perfection. And the corner accents created with the Fancy Flourishes stamp set really help to add balance and definition.
Kim Hughes designed this festive card with the snowflakes from Peace Be Still. One of my favorite design elements is the way she used the star pattern strip from Background Basics: Christmas vertically with a multi-color design. It just adds so much punch and I am anxious to try it myself. She also used Fillable Frames #8 to define her sentiment and allow her a place to layer the die-cut snowflakes. Perfection!
Lisa Johnson created the most stunning project with Year of Flowers: Morning Glories paired with Framed. I loved how she did some masking with the floral image to allow it to fit perfectly within the boundaries of the frame. Not to mention, her color skills, as always, are top notch. I also loved the unique choice to use a black card base. The stark contrast really makes the colors in the morning glories pop.
Maile Belles is showcasing Wreath For All Seasons with this simply stunning project. I love how she made the wreath appear to be hanging from our Pure Poppy Baker's Twine and added dimension to the berries on the wreath. A clean and simple project that is perfect for mass-producing!
Melissa Phillips put together these AMAZING tags. I just can't seem to take my eyes off of them and continue to study every detail. THe base of her tags is our new Tag Sale #1 die. I loved how she rotated the Fillable Frames #4 die on it's end, which seems to be MADE for a mat for these tags shapes. Trees With Trimmings provided her with the perfect focal point. And what can I say about the smallest Seeing Stars die hanging from the bottom of each tag, accents with a little button and twine. Can't wait to reproduce these myself!
Michelle Wooderson used Year of Flowers Morning Glories for this STUNNING project. The soft coloring technique she used on the flowers really brought them to life. And I always love the ribbon loops she adds to the sides of her projects, giving them so much personality. I also loved the whimsical touch that the layers of scalloped borders added to the bottom of the card. Just fabulous!
Niki Estes combined Background Basics: Christmas and the snowflakes from Peace Be Still to create this amazing background for her project. Fillable Frames #8 grounded her sentiment choice. And I can't forget to mention that beautiful die-cut dove that has been sugar coated with glitter. Unbelievably simple but a real show-stopper!
I hope you have enjoyed all of this amazing inspiration provided by the team. They never cease to amaze me with all of their talents! Just makes you want to drop everything and stamp all day, doesn't it? So treat yourself today and create something beautiful! Thanks for stopping by!
