It's hard to believe, but here we are on the very last day of the countdown already! The whole week has certainly gone by like a whirlwind!
Today I get to introduce you to one of the most requested stamp sets in our history! Tea for Two Additions! You ADORE the original Tea For Two set. You asked for teacups, tea paraphernalia and more to complement the original images. You asked for coordinating dies. All of that is now a reality and will be available with the June Release!
The details.

- Tea for Two Additions contains a total of 25 stamps (3 sentiments, 4 teacups,1 sugar/honey bowl & 2 titles for it, 5 tea paraphernalia images, 1 tea bag tag with 2 coordinating images and 7 coordinating sentiments)
- There will also be a coordinating die for the teacup (read more about it below).
As I mentioned above, we are also bringing you some new coordinating dies for both the original set and the new set.
First, let me introduce you to the teacup die, designed to coordinate with all four of the teacup images in Tea For Two Additions. It will cut out that awkward little space in the handle for you, perfectly every time!

Next is a set of two dies that coordinate with the two most popular images from the original Tea For Two stamp set. This collection will accommodate both the teapot and the "Tea Time" label found in the set.

- The dies coordinate with the teapot & "Tea Time" label from Tea For Two stamp set.
- The teapot die measures approximately 2.25" x 1.75".
- The "Tea Time" label die measures approximately 1.75" x 1.5"
When you put all of these amazing resources together, it makes for lots of fun in the ol' studio! Let me show you what I created!
This first card pairs up the new Tea For Two Additions with a popular previously released set, Honey Bees. I love it when I am able to combine images from two sets so harmoniously.
This little bowl-type container is one of the new images from Tea For Two Additions. It comes with two separate "titles" that can be added to the bowl, either "sugar" or "honey". I opted for honey since that would be the theme of my card. I colored the bowl with Terracotta Tile Copic Trrio, then went back in with the Colorless Blender to add the dots and the stripes framing the title.
Another new addition to the set is this honey dipper. I had already stamped, colored & cut-out the teacup (also from Tea For Two Additions) and laid it about where I wanted it to eventually go. This helped me to place the dipper.
One of the fun itegrations into this set is this small "honey drop" stamp. When added to the honey dipper, it makes it look as though fresh honey is dripping right off of it. I stamped it here with Summer Sunrise ink. I also used a gold Spica pen to add a bit od sparkle to the honey drippings.
Once the teacup was put in place with a foam dimensional, the honey appeared to be dripping right into it! Also note the strip of text I added to the bottom of the Mat Stack 1 focal point background. I cut out the entire Mat Stack 1 piece from Kraft cardstock, stamped it wih Text Style II and trimmed the strip from the bottom. All I had to do was adhere it to the bottom of this white one to help ground the honey bowl & teacup!
I added one of the little bees from Honey Beeds in the corner of the focal point area to help reinforce the bee theme. Notice also the looped ribbon, done with the Terracotta Tile Grosgrain. It adds a lot drama to the center portion of the card, helping to support the detailed focal point.
I created a background on the Dark Chocolate cardstock using the two label images found in the original Tea For Two set. I just stamped them with Versamark ink, rotating them this way and that.
The polka dotted paper is from Autumn Abundance Paper Pad. The sentiment is from Honey Bees Sentiments, complimenting the bee that appeared int he focal point earlier.
In the end, there are all kinds of mix & match possibilities between Honey Bees and this new Tea for Two Additions set. I'm sure you all will come up with dozens of ideas once you start using them to gether yourselves!
This next card is a bit more subdues and mellow. It uses calming shades of Spring Moss & Ocean Tides, one of my favorite color schemes ever.
To create my card, I stamped the center teacup first, using Spring Moss ink.
I then added this teabag tag using Smokey Shadow ink.
The tag is a blank image that has sentiments and two label-style images that wil fit within it's boundries. Here you can see I added a "thank you" as well as one of the label images.
The combination of these details really makes for something unique.
Here's a closeup of the flower I made to embellish this card. I simply stamped Text Style II with Dark Chocolate ink onto linen Resume Paper. After die-cutting with the medieum Beautiful Blooms #2 die, I was able to fold the shapes into this lovely flower, modeled after the one's Dawn & Betsy create all the time. I added an Ocean Tides button to the center, as well as Ocean Tides felt leaves.
I love this little sentiment and think its a heartfelt way to say thank you.
I hadn't pulled out my Green Tea Leaves paper in quite some time, so that is what I selected to use for the background panels on this card. I forgot how much I LOVE this paper! If you have a pad, you should get it out and make something with it!
This little ensemble is the perfect thing to give to a friend or co-worker as a little birthday treat!
For the card, I measures the length of this spoon image and scored lines on the cover that far apart, using my Scor-pal. That way I could stamp the spoons in between the two and use the score lines as guidelnes for my stamping.
For the teapot, I first die-cut the Kraft cardstock, then stamped the teapot image with Fresh Snow ink. I added a few dots of color to the centers of the flowers using my Spica pen.
The compelted card is super simple. I wanted to be sure I pointed out that I ran a white gel pen betwee the two score-lines. Not only does it look nice, but it is certianly inexpensive & easy to do too!
When I stamped the spoons, I alternated them up, down, up down to give them a unifies, cohesive look.
And what can I say? I love this little ol' teapot!!!
All of the elements work together so nicely.
Here's the label portion of the new Tea for Two die set, in motion. I used it to cut out a label for the matching Mini Paint Can. The label image was stamped with Fresh Snow ink onto the Kraft cardstock.
Here's a last closeup of the Mini Paint Can. Isn't that the most adoable thing EVER?!?!? I tied bits of Dark Chocolate Satin ribbon around each side of the handle to dress it up a bit. Love this little project!
This citrusy, sunshiney project is very different from the others, hence the reason why I made it! Variety is always nice!
I started by stamping the tacup with Raspberry Fizz ink. I added one of the small label images (designed for the new teabag tag) to the teacup as an extra embellishment.
The lemon slice in this set is perfect for those of you who take lemon in your tea. I stamped it in Summer Sunrise ink, cut it out and added a small slit to the center. This allowed me to add it to the rim of the cup in a realistic way.
The sentiment is from Signature greetings, and I thought it was perfect for this bright & cheery card.
The frame image is from Spooky Sweets II. Never be afraid to mix & match elements from holiday sets into non-holiday projects like this!
This last card showcases one of the new sentiments in the set as well as a fun tea ball image that you all requested.
The teacup is stamped in Hawaiian Shores ink, the tea ball and sentiment in True Black and the label in Aqua Mist.
For some visual "pop", I stitched a unique border around the focal point using my sewing machine. I cut a Simply Chartreuse flower using one of my Beautiful Blooms dies, finished off with a True Black button and Rustic Jute Button Twine. A small piece of gingham ribbon was added to the left side for balance.
The background was created with the larger-scaled side of the In Bloom Impression Plate. ISn't it just divine?!?!?
