I am just so excited for this release and the opportunity to FINALLY show you all what we have been working on over the last few months for you! We are starting the countdown week out with a bang as I introduce you to two new sets from Melissa Bickford!
Melissa's new sets focus on one of the most well-used words in card making... YOU! All About You contains a large scaled, bold "YOU" image that is supported by several companion sentiments that will finish your sentences, such as "Thankful for...", "...are in my thoughts", etc. And as if it couldn't get any better than that, she also created a few floral images to give you all the resources you need to create stunning projects!
The details.
- All About You will be available for purchase on June 15th.
- It will retail for $24.
- All About You contains a total of 29 stamps (2 large flowers, 4 flower centers, 1 small flower, 3 leaves, "YOU" and 17 companion sentiments, as well as a "handmade by" image)
All About You Additions is a wonderful companion for the original set above. It contains a "You" in a beautiful script font that you can mix and match with the companion sentiments in the original set. It also contains some additional companion sentiments that allows further possibilities. A large floral border along with an adorable bee round out the set! Talk about having options!

With all this stamping happiness, I'm thrilled to share some of my creations with you!
My first project today is a bit of homemade sunshine! Lot's of yellow & orange that is sure to brighten anyone's day!
It all started with this solid floral image from All About You. I stamped it onto Stamper's Select White cardstock using Summer Sunrise ink.
I then added these fun polka dotted centers with Orange Zest ink.
To fill in between the flowers, I added this small leaf using Simply Chartreuse ink.
After I as done creating my pattern, I ran the cardstock through my Big Shot with the linen side of our Linen & Canvas Impression Plate. Love this!
You can see how this stamped floral pattern really makes the completed card!
People are always asking me where I get my inspiration from. I thought I would share the catalog page that brought me to this color combo. The boldness of this dress just spoke to me and I knew I needed to incorporate it into a project!
Did you notice the use of the new Moroccan Motifs Impression Plate on my project? Here's a close-up shot of this beauty at work.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this thing! Totally unique and amazingly versatile!
As I said in the intro of this post, there is a large "YOU" stamp that can be combined with several companion sentiments. Here the "YOU" is, stamped in Simply Chartreuse ink, with the companion sentiment in Orange Zest. And by the way, did you notice my flower embellishments?
They were created by die-cutting the small medium Beautiful Blooms 2 dies from white cardstock and then stamping the SMAE flower image I used on the background onto these die-cut pieces. The image is completely transformed since you only see a small portion of the interior of the image!
After stamping the flowers with Summer Sunrise ink, I brushed a bit of Orange Zest around the edges. I then clipped in between each scallop with scissors and curled each petal a bit with my fingertips. After layering the two on top of each other, you end up with this.
Add an Orange Zest button with a glue dot and you are ready to go!
One last detail is the Simply Chartreuse felt leaves I added. They are just hand cut and stuck in place with a bit of Scor-tape. They help frame the shape of the Mat Stack 1 die I used for the sentiment block.
After all that bright color, I thought I would go to the complete opposite side of the spectrum and create a card using just shades of gray. When you do this, the outcome is very striking, with the details taking center stage.
I started by stamping the two outline floral images onto Soft Stone cardstock using Smokey Shadow ink. I did not fill my entire card cover, just a small portion of the upper half.
To create my flower centers, I stamped the center patterns onto Smokey Shadow cardstock using True Black ink. I then punched them out with 3/4" & 1/2" circle punches.
The sentiment uses the script "You" from All About You Additions, stamped in True Black ink onto Stamper's Select White cardstock. I added a few clear rhinestones at the edge of the strip for artistic flair!
Now, check this out. This, my friends, is the In Bloom Impression Plate at work. Do you not feel as though you have just died and gone to stamper's heaven?!?!? The final result is something that almost looks like hand-tooled leather or something. This is one of the most amazing tools have ever gotten to work with in my career and I am SO looking forward to exploring more options with it!
I used a strip of the impressed Smokey Shadow cardstock to adhere behind the scalloped-trimmed edge of the card front. I love the way it's just peeking out, understated but amazing at the same time.
The completed card is sophisticated and unique, not to mention fun to create!
Next is a card that uses the large floral border from All About You Additions. I thought it was about time I pulled out my Copics, so that's just what I did!
I stamped the flowers with Noir Black ink onto Stamper's Select Cardstock.
I used markers from the Aqua Mist, Ripe Avocado & Lemon Tart Copic Trios. The layers of petals that make up each bloom are really fun to color and shade.
When I see an image like this, I tend to instantly think that I need to color each of the flowers different colors in order to make it visually interesting. I instead opted to color all of them the same, which I was very happy with.
This card proves that you can create a beautiful project with just a little paper and ink. Notice that I used two thin strips of Ripe Avocado cardstock to create a border. A super quick & easy way to embellish a card.
This time for the sentiment, I stamped the polka-dotted "YOU" with Aqua Mist ink and overlaid the companion sentiment directly on top of it using True Black ink. This gives you even more options on how to use these types of images together.
For added emphasis, I popped the sentiment strip up on foam dimensionals.Super simple card, but bright & beautiful at the same time!
This little bee card is one of my favorites from this batch. I stamped the floral border with Fresh Snow ink repeatedly across a piece of Kraft cardstock. Melissa designed this image so it is VERY easy to repeat it across a card cover like this!
I stamped the bee with True Black ink a total of three times. Once on the decorate kraft cardstock, once on Summer Sunrise cardstock and one additional time on our vellum cardstock.
I cut out the body WITH the wings from the vellum and then just the body from the Summer Sunrise. I added glitter to the wings using 2-way glue pen. Once these elements are layered together, you end up with this. Isn't he the sweetest!
I ran strips of Scor-tape at the bottom and top of the card and sprinkled them with Prisma Glitter. These strips help to balance out the sparkle of the bee.
The Aqua Mist card base is stamped with Polka Dot Basics 2 using Fresh Snow ink. And last but not least, the sentiments were added to corner with True Black ink
I have one more quick and simple card for you today. This plays off the notion that you can pair up more than one companion sentiment with either if the "YOU" stamps.
I used the rock-n-roll technique with the large solid floral image. inked the stamp wit Orange Zest ink and then tapped the edges with a Terracotta Tile ink. It creates a beautiful look with this particular image.
I stamped "You" & " Mean the World" in Dark Chocolate ink. I was then able to follow-up underneath that with additional sentiments in Terracotta Tile & Orange Zest.
I added an epoxy dome sticker to the center of the flower to help set it off. I then used a brown pen to add lines above and below the sentiment area. Perfect finishing touch!
