First up is something new from Beth Silaika. If you look through the pages of any paper crafting publication or online with your favorite blogs you will see lots of arrows and other technical typography. Beth's set embraces ALL of that in a fresh, funky way that will have you turning to this set again and again!

Today I am also showcasing the latest set in the Fillable Frames series from Heather Nichols. This months set is sophisticated & versatile, allowing you even more uses and styles for the sentiments included in the other sets as well as this one.

Now that I've given you all the details of these new products, let's get onto the projects! I have nearly 35 photos in today's post, so be sure to get comfy 'cause you'll be here for a while! :)
This is a fun & festive birthday card for someone about to turn 13! Totally appropriate for either a boy or a girl!
I started by stamping this polka dot arrow image from Get to the Point using Fresh snow ink onto Kraft cardstock.
I then used three Copic markers to color a few selected dots within the arrows. Super easy to do and it adds to much visual pop!
I die-cut the Fillable Frames #4 from white cardstock and then stamped the coordinating frame image with Pure Poppy ink. I just LOVE this shape!
I adhered the frame between the two arrows. To embellish the center of the frame I stamped the word "happy" from Get to the Point Sentiments with black ink. I also stamped the number "13" from Get the Point onto a circle of Kraft cardstock. I wanted to create a bit of texture, so I decided to mat the 13 with Simply Chartreuse felt. I cut the felt with the smallest Beautiful Blooms set #2 die. I love what a fun touch this is.
The kraft card front needed a bit of grounding, so I opted to draw two fine-lined frames with a black pen and ruler around it's perimeter. Notice how I purposely skipped over the arrows while drawing to make the project more cohesive.
I love how the 13 embellishment pops from the cover of the card!
I added a little "th" on the right side of the 13 embellishment to help add balance and make the phrase more of a complete sentiment for a birthday.
the Pure Poppy card base was stamped with the new Background Basics: Geometrics set using Versamark ink. Totally one of my new favorites!
Next is a fun girly card! Pretty in pink! It uses some of the fun symbols that are included in Get to the Point as well as some of the words found in the companion sentiment set.
The "equation" is stamped in True Black ink, while the numbers are stamped in Raspberry Fizz. The polka dots stamped above & below are done in Sweet Blush. I drew the double black lines with a pen and ruler. Love the definition this added.
I used a fine tip 2-way glue pen to apply adhesive to the numbers and then sprinkled on some Prisma glitter while it was still wet. this adds so much definition to the number so that they stand out from the rest of the one layer card front.
I stamped the arrows with Raspberry Fizz and cut them out. I then ran them through my Xyron Sticker Maker and coated them with Prisma Glitter as well.
The arrows were adhered above and below the "21" to add emphasis to the milestone age.
Such a simple card, yet striking and unique!
Now onto a wonderfully rich and stylish masculine project! I just love the warmth created with all these orange hues!
Notice the texture on the kraft card base? I'll be telling you more about that a bit later in this post!
I love this particular arrow from Get to the Point with it's bold flourish pattern. I thought it would go wonderfully with a background created with Fancy Flourishes. Also, keep in mind that the "35" could easily be switched out for nearly any other age!
Each of the words shown here can be found in the $5 sentiment set, while the numbers are from the main set. They are inked with Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest & Terracotta Tile. Since each of the words are separate stamps, it was very easy to just stamp one on top of the other. I drew a frame around the outside of the word block with a white gel pen to finish it off.
How about something special for a gal turning 40?
I love this arrow from the set with it's dotted border. I stamped it in Spring Rain ink and trimmed it out. I added clear rhinestones in a strip down the center, going from smallest to largest to emphasize the point of the arrow. It is adhered in place with a foam dimensional to give it some pop.
The sentiment cluster was created with words found in the $5 sentiment set, while the numbers are from the main set. They are all housed within the Fillable Frames #1 frame and die-cut. I did a tiny strip of paper piecing under "the" to add more interesting detail.
And don't you just LOVE that background?!?!?! This is the other side of the Sunshine Impression plate that I showed you yesterday! *sigh* Now we can all die happy stampers, right?!?!?
I thought that this card would be great as a thank you card if you put an appropriate sentiment on the interior. The numbers and percent symbol are from the main Get to the Point set, while the "genuine" is from the $5 sentiment set. I stamped them within the boundaries of the Fillable Frames #4 frame. As a tip, you don't always have to die-cut these shapes for maximum appeal.
See the fantastic "rustic" texture that I added to the label I created? This is the same texture that was on my 35th birthday card above. These were created with the canvas side of the Linen & Canvas Impression plate! Isn't it so unique! And it adds just the right amount of subtle aging to cardstock! I like to do the impression plate step AFTER stamping, so that I don't have to worry about the nooks & crannies interrupting the stamped image or distorting it.
You might have noticed the incredible felt border along the bottom of my project. That was created with Lisa's new Eyelet Lace Border Die and the Simply Chartreuse Felt. The fact that I can make as many of these borders as I like in any color I like, in nearly ANY material I desire, just makes me giddy with creative excitement!
The Enchanted Evening card front was impressed with the linen side of the Linen & Canvas Impression plate. I love the combination of the canvas texture on the label and the linen in the background. Fantastic eye candy!
I stamped the lower portion of the card cover with the oval dot image from Background Basics: Geometrics using Versamark ink. Love this!
The die-cut felt border was stitched in place with my sewing machine. I love the way this border looks with the stitching down the center! This option gives it so much versatility!
I have one more project for you today focusing in on the Fillable frames #4 set and the new Beautiful Blooms patterned paper pad.
A super simple card composed with three different papers from the collection. I die-cut white cardstock with the Fillable Frames #4 die and then stamped it with the coordinating frame using Pure Poppy ink. The sentiment, also from Fillable Frames #4 is stamped in the center of the frame using True Black ink. After I completed this stamping, I ran the die through my Big Shot with the linen side of the Linen & Canvas Impression Plate. This small detail added so much!
The frame is flanked on either side with Simply Chartreuse buttons tied with twine.
Did you notice the envelope in my first shot of this project? Lined perfectly with more of the floral patterned paper? Let me introduce you to my new best friend!
