So, are you enjoying this month's countdown? It's hard to believe that we are already on Day 4! I have TWO exciting stamp sets to share with you today and I can hardly wait to share my creations using them! First, a bit of an introduction!
Becky Oehlers in introducing her very first set with us, entitled Wonderfully Whimsical. As soon as I saw it the first time, ideas began running through my head of all the amazing ways the images could be used! Wonderfully Whimsical takes us on a journey inside Becky's head, where we get to see a wonderful world that she has invented. From tiny mushroom capped houses to heart-topped chimneys, twisting trees, stitched hills and everything in between! You'll fall in love with your very first visit!

The second set I am introducing today is a new alphabet set, Outlines Alphabet. It is a collection of approximately 1" lowercase letters & numbers that can be used for a variety of techniques based on the fact that they are outline images only.

Becky has been hard at work all week showcasing all of the wonderful things you can create with her new set. I thought I would sow you examples of how you can incorporate older sets you may already have in your collection with Wonderfully Whimsical.
I was So excited about this little find. The animal images from Tiny Treats: Valentine are the perfect scale to nestle under the twisting tree from Wonderfully Whimsical. Doesn't this little dog just look right at home?
I started by stamping Becky's tree and hill images on Stamper's Select White cardstock using Noir Palette ink. I stamped the dog separately and cut him out. Both images were colored with Copic markers.
I trimmed down the tree image and swiped Spring Rain ink around the edges to represent the blue sky. The dog was adhered in place with a foam dimensional just on top of the hill so he looked like he was sitting comfortably. The sentiment (from Everyday Button Bits) was stamped underneath the focal point using True Black ink. Soooo cute! This would also work with the cat & bunny images from Tiny Treats! Lots of fun possibilities between these sets!
Next is a card that would be perfect for a happy couple on their wedding day or in celebration of their first new house.
I placed all of the smaller scaled houses in a row on a block together. I then stamped them along my kraft card cover using Fresh Snow ink.
I then was able to go back in with True Black and add the hearts coming from the chimney and the sentiment (from Big & Bold Wishes) underneath the row of houses.
I stamped this particular house again onto white cardstock, colored it and cut it out. I adhered it over the appropriate are with a foam dimensional. As a finishing touch, I die-cut a piece of rickrack using the new Rickrack die, out of raspberry fizz cardstock. I then used a 2-way glue pen to adhere some Prisma glitter to the border. I love how bright and cheerful this project is! Don't you agree?

With the elements that Becky designed for this set, you can also create festive holiday cards! Here I've paired up this little winter scene with a sentiment from Tree Trimming Trio.
The little scene was colored with Copic markers, complete with small hand-drawn stars to adorn the tops of the trees. I cut a small wavy piece of cardstock, applied 2-way glue and sprinkled on some Prisma glitter to achieve the look of a snowbank. I can totally see mass-producing these now and getting a head start on the holidays!
My next project showcase Wonderfully Whimsical paired with the flower stems from Blooming Button Bits. I stamped this "sign post house" with Noir Palette ink, followed by the aforementioned stem trio in Spring Moss ink.
Becky cleverly has included a handful of small-scaled sentiments that will fit perfectly within the sign attached to this house. I selected "Happy Birthday" to be used with my project today. I also stamped small outlined flowers at the top of each system. The flower stamp is from the new Beautiful Blooms II.
I got out the Copic markers to color in this sweet little scene. Note that I outlined everything with the T1 Copic to help add definition and make it look more polished.
Next, I used the small scalloped border die to cut this Spring Moss polka dot paper from Pretty Pastels paper pad. This made the perfect patch of "grass" to ground my images.
Onto the second portion of my project, I decided I wanted to personalize the piece using the new Outline Alphabet. I stamped the recipients name with Noir palette ink. If you take a look at the block, it was super easy to line-up all of the letter at once and stamp away!
Next, I used some f the same pink Copic markers that I also used on the flowers above, to shade in the letters of the little girls name. I just LOVE how this turned out!
When completed, you could use the piece as an ordinary name frame or even a card front! However, I chose to make this one the guest book for the party The piece was removed from the frame and I added some pencil lines as to where the frame would be covering up when we reassembled.
This closeup shows you how I added glitter to the letters with a 2-way glue pen. The sparkle is just amazing in real life! This is such a happy reminder of such a special event! Even when the child no longer wants to display it in their bedroom, the piece can be removed from the frame and added to their scrapbook!
Now that I've shown you a little bit of the Outlines Alphabet, how about some more projects that utilize it? My next project does just that and it started out as the letters stamped in Noir Palette ink on Stamper's Select cardstock.
This happy rainbow card was SO fun and easy to make. After stamping the letters, I just went back in with my Copics and created strips of vertical color that are blended into each other, being careful to avoid the center areas of the letters.
After the coloring was complete, I cut 1/4" strips from the bottom and top so I could separate them like shown here. The "hello" at the edge of the card is from Fillable Frames #1. Those particular fonts work well with the alphabet font.
I have one last project to share with you tonight. This uses a new product for March that we hadn't introduced to you yet! My dear readers, meet the Giga Guide Lines Impression Plate! It was a little hard to get this AMAZING impress treatment to show up in a photograph, but if you scroll down, you should get a good idea from the other shots of the cover.
I used the new Outlines alphabet to spell out "hello" along the right side of the card cover, followed by a bit of Polka Dot Basics treatment.
